Alexander's Craft Cocktails and Kitchen was named after the distillery located on the grounds from 1861-1865, which washed away in a flood (historic marker located between the restaurant & The Manor).

The newly renovated main bar is located on 1st floor, and opens onto expansive wrap-around, creekside porches. Just a few steps down from the porches is an open deck situated beneath gracious Live Oak canopies.

The warm aubergine & copper walls of the third floor lounge contrast the amazing art representation from local galleries. The stunning view of Salado Creek as well as the grounds of the neighboring estate provide the perfect spot to enjoy your favorite beverage. Patrons choose from a variety of entree selections, appetizers, and adult beverages.

We came to enjoy the special brunch today. The food was great, and the mimosas were delicious. We really enjoyed sitting outside after brunch enjoying a good cocktail while listening to the music of Mike Hamilton. We enjoyed having the opportunity of visiting with Neil Dunch and his family after brunch too. All in all a wonderful Sunday.

Went for brunch for a friend's birthday was not what we expected from 2 years ago. Way over priced and the menu was so limited it wasn't appetizing. Drinks were good but for almost $250 for brunch I would have rather gone else where

Cute place, good food. Nice atmosphere, came for a brunch on Sat morning to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was really good. Had no idea this place existed. It's unfortunate its not in the main square in Salado. It's on the creek but on the other side. Glad I found them. Will return when we have something nice to celebrate.

Craft cocktails were great. Ate our salads and appetizer before we were brought any water. Ordered steak medium rare and it was blue rare and barely warm. side of mashed potatoes was smaller than a kids portion, for such a big steak. Crab cakes were delicious! Hopefully they can do better next time.

Amazing experience! The old house has a very warm and inviting ambiance. The views of the creek are incredible and the patio seating was so beautiful. Food couldn't have been better and the classic cocktails were on point. You have to check out this hidden gem in Salado!!!

This was their first time serving brunch and they crushed it. Amy was our server and she was a delight. She answered all our questions and was very attentive and personable. The food was amazing! We will be back on a Sunday for brunch and listen to live Jazz. Management came by and checked on us. We were even asked if we had any feedback to offer.
