    Excellent venue. Exactly what you would picture as a speakeasy. Door to the coat room lounge appeared to be a bookshelf. Chelsea was our main server in the coat room and she provided excellent service. Always checking in to see if we needed anything. Was a business dinner for four. All dishes were excellent. A couple of our group commented that the scallops were up against some of the best they have had. The only challenge is the entree’s came out a bit late, but no big deal. No pressure to sit down and order. The medium rare filet was perfect and all the appetizers as well. Even a nice selection of dairy free & gluten free options for those of us that have those kinds of challenges. Highly recommend the coat room lounge. Pool table and space, the bar was stocked well with bourbons and scotches. Beer selection a little light. A little cigar smoking area was right off the lounge. Had a couple of drinks, played a couple games of pool, sat down and dined, and had an after dinner drink and cigar. Perfect low key quiet venue with excellent food and service.

    Steaks were delicious. I don’t love the seafood but I don’t really like seafood as it is so I can’t hold it against them. Service was awesome.

    Absolutely phenomenal service. Out of this world food. The drinks were deeeeeelightful!! Our server Brityn, was awesome! The next time we come, we will be asking for her!

    We went for our 22nd Wedding Anniversary. Our servers were Brittany and Chelsea and they were extremely attentive to us and amazing servers. The whole staff made our Anniversary celebration very special! Great place to celebrate our special occasion.

    kind of overbearing waitress. she forgot bread and food too slow too arrive. found the loop of continuous sinatra was monotonous, repetitive and unnecessary noise. Didnt get the tv on either. Food was good but only warm , not hot. wanted to love it but the prices and value was lacking. $195 for crab legs caught my attention.

    What a beautiful hidden gem of a restaurant! The outside of the building is unassuming and the inside gorgeous. Dimly lit, classy, timeless. The choices are incredible and the menu is huge. Our Waitress, Rebecca, was fantastic - knowledgeable, helpful, funny. And the food is great. We will be back!

    Don’t miss this place if you go to Akron. We were skeptical when we pulled up by the looks of the building and entering in the back but wow! The food was great. Their lemon tumeric ginger salad dressing is amazing and I would buy it. The scallops on the regular menu were perfectly cooked with wonderful flavors. And don’t skip the carrot cake! We ordered it to share and took more than half home with us. Probably the best I’ve ever had. The staff is so friendly and welcoming too. Everyone was so friendly and they had incredible knowledge of the menu. If we lived closer we would be coming regularly.

    Horrible experience! We were seated in a room that seemed more like a bar than a fine dining restaurant. No table cloth, not side plates for bread, no silverware etc. There were people being paraded behind us on several occasions making noise as they were being given a tour of the cigar smoking area. This interrupted out conversation several times. This was our second time visiting the restaurant. This was nowhere near the experience we had the first time and the food wasn't even close to the same quality. This was our three year anniversary and my wife was literally in tears from the disappointment. She had been looking forward to this since the last time we were there. My reservation was for 6/7/15. I emailed the restaurant directly on Monday 6/9/25 and its now 6/11/25 and I have not heard anything from them.

    We had a table in the dining room and a foursome came in that was extremely loud and disruptive. The staff moved us to a quiet room and handled the situation with profound grace and professionalism. Kudos to a very professional staff. The apps and salads were amazing. The food was good. Will definitely be back.
