Number 1 Italian restaurant in the Mid-Atlantic area. My wife had the Ossobuco and I had the Tuscan grilled veal chop. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious. The prices may seem high, but once you taste the food you will be glad you came. The waiters are excellent. They are very knowledgeable about the wines.

Very nice, intimate atmosphere. Took my girlfriend here for a Valentine's Day date. We ordered the Chicken Marsala, Rigatoni alla Vodka, flourless chocolate cake, and glasses of wine. Every bite we took, down to the bread and olive oil was simply to die for. My only point of contention was that we were seated away from the main seating area which had open tables and were brought to the back of the second floor right next to an eyesore of an open storage closet/walkway. Aside from that hiccup, the waiters were friendly and my date went amazingly well. I will be coming again.

The food was excellent, and was served (suspiciously) quickly. My date ordered the lobster risotto, which she absolutely loved. I had the pasta with vodka sauce, which was also really good. Dessert on the other hand was a little lackluster, the tiramisu being a little too chocolatey for my taste, and the chocolate mouse was simply decadent to a fault.

The restaurant is dated as far as the decor. The service and the attentiveness was excellent. We ordered the eggplant tower and the asparagus soup, both really good. My husband who is also an executive chef commented that the chicken in the chicken Marsala had no seasoning not even salt & pepper. He said the Parmesan rissotto did not have enough Parmesan. It was really plain risotto. My filet mignon was cooked too done for me especially because i had asked for medium rare. I sent my steak back 2x, and each time the steak was medium well. The waiter said that the chef said "that's his version of medium rare because the steak is thin". My husband said that's unprofessional and not true. He said you cook it either medium rare or you don't and it had nothing to do with how thin the steak is. If it's thin, then you don't cook it too long. I was disappointed because I really wanted the foie gras with the truffled mushroom sauce that came with the steak. That's the only reason why I chose this restaurant for our Valentines Day dinner. I ordered something else which was the linguine and clams along with the arugula salad. It was good but I have had better. I'm not overwhelmed to come back.

Even though we had a reservation, we waited for 25mins or more to be seated.
Bad experience, food was average and service was poor.

Service was terrible. It was Valentine’s Day so no necessarily the best time to judge a restaurant but I was pretty disappointed. some of the food was pretty good, the wine was ok and the service was fair at best. And there was a 20% gratuity added to the check. As a former server, I can appreciate this gesture by management, however I feel that the service suffered because of the guaranteed tip. I’d like to assume it’s not always so poor. For $260, I expected a whole lot more quality for 2 people. Do not waste your money.

First time at Aldo’s- love the atmosphere, service was impeccable and food outstanding. Had the escargot, spinach salad and bronzini fish special. Celebrated with my niece for her BDAY. Gotta love Little Italy! I’ll be back with my hubby soon!

a couple of false starts w/ a long valet wait, and an initially lost reservation. once seated, the rest of the experience was superb. easily the best shrimp scampi appetizer i've tried, and an amazing lobster tail fettuccine that was a definite highlight. my date is an exacting tiramisu aficionado and gave aldo's offering an A-, which is the best rating i've seen her give in over a decade. a good dining atmosphere and engaging, knowledgeable service. a pricey night out, but you do get what you pay for; i wasn't disappointed.

Went for Baltimore Restaurant Week 2018 with wife and had a good time. A nice relaxed atmosphere with good food and pleasant service. We added the additional pasta course and really enjoyed it. Would have liked to have a few more options from main menu as part of the RW tasting selections, but overall a solid experience.

Food was ok, however the worst service possible!! Our server was in touch with us for 10-15 min, after that he disappear! Never ask if we need anything else, never ask if the food was ok...” typical questions”. We start to ask the busboy and different waiters in the restaurant to help us with our needs! We ask the busboy for a cappuccino and espresso. We decide to leave the restaurant and on our way out to pay the winter show up and try to give us the espresso and cappuccino! My tip was “the worst service ever”!
We talk with the owner too, hope he fix the problem!

Very relaxing Sunday dinner. We chose to dine at the bar. Restaurant seating is also extremely special. Service was stupendous; food from appetizers through to dessert was delectable. Pasta, fish, chicken all cooked perfectly and served at ideal temperature. Eggplant appetizer and Caesar salad memorable.

We had a great dinner with superb service. Cocktails were expertly prepared with generous but not over-done pours. Food was fresh and prepared with care and everyone happy and genuine about their attention to our needs. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Aldo's was fabulous. Went during Restaurant Week. You can't beat the deal for 3 course dinner at a 5 star restaurant. Fresh ingredients, attentive wait staff, terrific wine list. It's my favorite place in Little Italy for fine dining.
