I am in Philly often and have eaten at several restaurants around Rittenhouse Square. We went to Aldine for brunch Easter morning and had a wonderful dining experience. Everyone was happy with their food choices. I had the eggs benny and they were delicious. I also ordered a Bloody Mary that was perfect. The chef even came over to our table to see how everything was and check on our food and my drink. Since the restaurant is on the second floor it is not very visible from the street unless you are specifically looking for it, so you need to keep an eye out for the name on the door. I will definitely go back to Aldine next time I am in Philly.

Over priced, small portion and ok tasting foods. Will not revisit. Ambiance and Service were excellent.. Just the quality and quantity of foods are the main problem.

Well, that didn't go very well. I came in with my parents for the first time, excited to take them to a new restaurant (to us) in the city. We weren't starving so we just ordered the bone marrow croquettes and the fettuccine carbonara. The bone marrow bites were fine, I don't know if I'd get them again but no real complaints there. I have real complaints about the fettuccine carbonara, though. We ordered the full sized portions and thought the server made a mistake and gave us the half size when they were brought out, the servings were TINY! For $26, I wanted to have a meal. The noodles were over cooked, and it lacked that creamy, cheesy goodness carbonara usually has. I swear there were about 7 noodles in the tiny portion of the gigantic plate where the food is meant to be. My parents said I've never failed before on choosing a restaurant for their visit, but this was the first time. We actually left looking to go somewhere else to have an actual meal, for far less $. We were really disappointed and won't be back.

Aldine has been fantastic on all of the occasions that I've been. The menu is updated regularly, and everything is prepared exquisitely. The vegetable dishes have equal interest and attention to detail as the proteins, which provides for a great food experience. Definitely one of my favorite fine dining spots in Philly, and especially in Center City.

It was pretty empty and quiet maybe Because it was st patty’s day. The food was good but small Portioned. It wasn’t mind blowing like i was expecting.

We went to Aldine on a busy Saturday night. The food was SLOW to come out, however the staff was clear that there had been changes in the restaurant and the majority of them are new. Their new chef is phenomenal - the food was incredible and the staff was very apologetic. Honestly, waiting for the food is no problem when it’s as good as it was. Jennifer, GO GIRL.
