   This is our second time at Alder. We were so blown away with the service the first time that we needed to go back for our anniversary. We got complementary glasses of champagne upon seating. Everyone congratulated us on our anniversary which was a pleasant surprise. The food was just as amazing as the time we went for brunch.

   I had called in advance to see if two additional people could join our table and the staff gave me an extremely hard time and said that it was not possible to accomodate. The food was not great in consideration of price range - price and the quality of the food did not match up. Wouldn't recommend. If you're at the Ace Hotel, just hang out upstairs at the lounge bar - much better experience.
