   Been here before and liked the food. Came again on Mother’s Day. The restaurant was very short staffed that day. We were greeted by the host with blunt attitude that only she was there and needed 15min to clean up tables for us. Several groups came later and were told with the same information, and was also told that the host does not have access to the reservation system. It took one hour for our food to be delivered. I do not think the restaurant was properly staffed , including kitchen that day, which led to rather a disappointing experience

   Went on Mother’s Day for breakfast and there was only one person working so she was overwhelmed and wasn’t able to check in with each table as needed. When we asked for more water and condiments after our meal arrived, it took much longer than it should have and the server had to be reminded twice before bringing it to us. Felt really bad for the server since I don’t think any restaurant that size should have only one person working on Mother’s Day knowing there will be more people than an average day. Management should have scheduled better. Food was okay but not for the portion size and price. Overall a disappointing meal to wrap up our Portland trip. .

   I made a reservation because when I called them I was told I had to through OpenTable. OpenTable is great so that wasn’t a problem, but we walked in and there was only 3 people in the place. They were out of seafood/oysters and steak so the only options were chicken or a burger. The service was OK, but for the lack of customers you would assume it would have been better. We’ve been returning over the years because of the ambience and to grab a quick drink, but this was the first time we chose to dine there and it was extremely disappointing. We actually left and went to grab dinner somewhere else. I think it’s a great spot and it was probably just a random one off, but it was disappointing. Due to the weather this was technically our Valentine’s Day dinner(just a few days late) because it got delayed from the previous Friday. We are going to try again though.

   Servers very friendly. Took a while to get our food though even though it wasn’t too busy. Portions small for the price.

   I set the wrong expectations for this restaurant. I read Bistro and in my mind I was expecting more than a hamburger option for lunch. They did have many delicious looking breakfast options, but we were there for lunch. Our server was less than stellar.

   Overall disappointing. Super slow service when the place was empty. Dirty drink glasses after waiting a half hour for a drink. Food was decent but no reason to return.

   Many items were sold out and prices were expensive for what we got. Didn’t seem a good value for a meal but might be good if a person just wanted bar snacks with drinks.
