Food was good. Total experience was ok but for the price point, I typically expect a little more elevated treatment. Bartender was great for after dinner drinks.

This was our first visit, and from the time we were seated, we did not feel welcomed. Our server, Brit, was terse and cold, and only interacted with us as required to take our order. She ordered the wrong salad for me, but after trying to get her attention three times, I gave up and ate the salad I was given. When we did finally get her attention, and my BIL told her that the salmon was cold and not cooked to his preference, she offered to bring him something else, but we were preparing to leave for a theatre show. A more attentive server would have been able to correct the errors within a reasonable time frame, had she paid more attention. The food, while creative in some parts, was fine, but nothing to rave about. It was certainly not worth the prices we paid, especially with such poor service.

We came at a great time right before the lunch rush. I ordered the Pozole Verde as a Latina I approve of this soup.

Food was great and portion sizes generous but it was so loud we were shouting over each other to be heard. Very off putting. Bar was closed off due to a private party, which wasn’t highlighted when we booked. Had we known, we would have eaten somewhere else.

Hi Dana, We're sorry your experience did not meet expectations. We regret the inconvenience caused by the noise level and the lack of communication about the private event. We’ll be reviewing how to improve both. We’d love the chance to make it up to you and will do our best to reach out directly. If you don’t hear from us, please feel free to contact us at 206-486-7699 and ask for Lisa Martin—we’d love to make things right. - Lisa Martin, General Manager

A simple menu but something for most people. Creative and tasty chef salad, fabulous clam chowder with surprise drizzle of oil for pop to the flavor. Do t skip the fries as a side. Nice selection of wine by the glass. The setting is roomy and the booths quite comfy. Dry friendly staff

Overall pleasant experience. Food was good, not great, not terrible. The food was relatively pricey (we had breakfast entrees). Our server was very nice. The restaurant itself is lovely. Great decor. All that being said, the general manager was also the hostess and she was incredibly unpleasant. I hope she treats her staff better than she treats her customers.

Although the restaurant itself is very comfortable and lovely, and the service was fairly good, we had a poor experience with a few of our food choices. The hummus appetizer was fantastic, and the french fries were excellent. However, we ordered the pasta with Bolognese sauce, and it was served with only a tiny bit of sauce. We asked to get some additional sauce and it took a while for it to come out so by then, the pasta was cold. We also ordered the meatballs which were served cold and the Caesar salad, which tasted like bagged lettuce and very little dressing. The restaurant did remove the pasta from our bill, which was nice. Overall, it was just not a good experience for us.

Hi Judy, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for the delay in bringing out additional sauce, as well as the temperature and quality issues with the meatballs and salad. We will be reviewing these concerns with our kitchen team to ensure consistency and quality moving forward. We truly appreciate you recognizing our efforts to adjust the bill, but we regret that your experience did not meet expectations from the start. We would love the opportunity to serve you better and will make every effort to contact you directly. If you don’t hear from us, please feel free to reach out to me at 206-486-7699 and ask for Lisa Martin. - Lisa Martin, General Manager

I had the Mushroom Orecchiette, which was the only vegetarian main dish option on the menu. Fortunately, it was very good, and the portion was generous. I added a side of grilled asparagus, which was also well-prepared. My friend had the burger, which he said was good. Service was professional, but not particularly warm or personable. The biggest disappointment was the margarita: very expensive for a cocktail served in a short rocks glass that was maybe 2/3 full. I’ve had lots of margaritas at restaurants over the years, and I’ve never been served one like this. Also, the noise level was pretty high. I might eat here again if I was in downtown Seattle, but I wouldn’t make a special trip.
