    Girls night out so we thought we’d give it a try. We all loved the ambiance and the food was excellent! The corn chowder was delicious as were the carrots (there were enough for 2 people) and the braised short ribs. Highly recommend and will be returning with my husband soon!

    Wife and I stopped into Alcove for Sunday brunch when visiting from out of town. Beautiful space with great options for both inside and outside seating. Had an 11:00 AM reservation and the restaurant was busy, but not full. My thought was the Brunch menu was a bit limited for choices, but the food was very good! Our server was a bit slowed by a large party that was seated ahead of us, so food was a little slow coming out. All personnel were very pleasant and professional. We were actually surprised the check came out under $40, but since we still had to drive home we did not have any alcohol. Would definitely recommend to people give Alcove a try!

    There were 7 of us. Our apps were good but no one was happy with their meals. Either the meals were waaay to salty or too cold.

    We had hoped to sit outside and listen to music, but it was way too loud for us so the staff kindly moved us inside. We went pretty early for a Friday and it was very slow while we were there. I never get tired of the ambiance at Alcove...the plants on the living wall and hanging from the ceiling make it such a special place. We had the meatballs and butter board appetizer and they were yummy (a little too good, I filled up on the bread!) I had the Coffee Tablebbeer and it was SO good! I tried the Battered Fish Crisps for the first time and they were great! The fish was mahi mahi. The cranberries in the accompanying salad were super tart but I really loved the whole dish. My husband had the Smash Burger - always a hit! Our server, Michael, was super helpful, engaging, and funny to boot (always a plus when we dine out). All in all it was another great experience at Alcove.

    All of the food was awesome, especially the tomatoes and the potato sides. Shane was an awesome server! He was super knowledgeable and attentive. He suggested a couple of local places that Alcove partners with that we’re excited to try.

    We had a wonderfully delightful dinner. The fish was very good with the citrus salad. My friend had the short rib with the mushroom risotto which was also excellent. We ordered a side of pistachio-carrots which I wish I could make at home and have it taste as good. We enjoyed our food with the Phantom Forest brew.

    My husband and I brought our family and friends here after our civil ceremony in Covington KY. We had a large party (12) and the restaurant was accommodating and helpful when our reservations needed changed. The ambience and decor were beautiful. The cocktails delicious and the charcuterie boards were 10/10. Our server was excellent. Overall would recommend this place to anyone!

    We had very good time. The only reason for a less than 5 star review was that we ordered a charcuterie board, and then the entries showed up when we had barely started on the charcuterie.

    Hospitality hasn’t disappeared everywhere, thankfully. What a wonderful experience! Brought a large group to celebrate work achievements and loved the unexpected private alcove (yep, pun intended).     Our waiter Shane was exceptional, he explained different ingredients in dishes and helped us to make our selection. He was friendly and professional. The ambiance of this place is magical, this is my second time and believe me I’ll be back with more friends!

    Had an awesome lunch out in the greenhouse area. Great craft beer selection. All the entrees were unique and fun. Personally enjoyed the smash burger. Service was great.

    Our brunch was fabulous. Wonderful service, delicious food (see Brunch Board, Goetta Sandwich and MadGriddles). The atmosphere is green and fresh and sunlit, and after you can browse all the lovely shops in OTR. Highly recommended!

    Had many different things off the menu and they were all incredible. It wasn't very busy for a Sunday morning brunch, so even without a reservation I think we would have been able to be seated right away. Loved the decor and all the light coming in from the windows!

    Our Server Shane was amazing! Very attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating. 5 stars! We had the bread board to start, very good bread with nice and salty butter available if you choose. We split the bone in Ribeye which was tasty and cooked to the appropriate temp. Atmosphere was energetic and exciting.

    Had a reservation at 8:30. Walked in to several empty tables, yet had to wait 5 minutes at the bar to be seated. Once seated, took probably 10 minutes before server came over to take our drink order. We proceeded to order the wagyu meatballs as appetizer, braised short rib, and fish and chips. Dinner came out...no meatballs. Asked them to forget about it. Short rib was good, but not very warm. Fish was good too, but not much to it. Server ended up crediting us for the meatballs and didn't charge us for my beer. Have been wanting to try this place for a while, but likely won't go back to eat. It was a bit underwhelming.

    It was our first time dining in here. I came in with two children and had the best experience!! The staff was beyond friendly and checked on us frequently. The food was great! We had the charcuterie board, the burgers and the loaded potatoes. The server even took the time to explain to my kids what everything was on the charcuterie board and answered their questions and treated them great! The inside is extremely beautiful as well. Overall, We were very pleased with our experience here and will definitely be back!!

    The portion sizes were very small and weren't the greatest at the price points. I ordered the chicken and only received 1 small piece with some vegetables that were mostly onions. Beer was not good, I ordered the Mexican beer and it did not taste like a refreshing corona/modelo flavor, it tasted like it had tajin added to a standard lager.

    Service and atmosphere were outstanding. Food was just so so. My friend and I had the quiche. It was just ok. Clearly reheated and not a lot of flavor. Salad greens were fresh. Potato puffs were tasty but nothing special. Iced tea was very good.

    The Alcove is a very inviting, energetic restaurant. The hostess/host were welcoming and accommodating and since there were 10 of us we were seated in the room in the back. This was perfect for the group. Our waitress was great but service was a little slow. Not uncommon in today's world! My complaints are that the food was over salted (everyones dish) and the fish crisps were overdone. We will try again since there are lots of positives but if the salt thing continues we won't be back
