   Food and service were very good but it’s way too loud. Would not recommend if you want to be able to carry on a normal conversation without shouting across the table.

   This was our first time at Alcove, and it did not disappoint—great decor and atmosphere, and terrific food, especially for a relatively low cost. We'll be back for sure!

   A lovely place for a small number of people to get together for a drink. However, you must have a reservation if you do not want to wait for 45+ minutes and it can get very loud in the restaurant in the mid to late evening

   The food was delicious. The service was meh. Took a while for someone to remember we were there. And the restaurant was virtually empty when we were there.Food came fast and was very good. Food was cleared away quickly even as my partner was not done eating. I will say the hostess was very accommodating as we arrived much earlier than our reservation time and she was able to seat us. I would return and recommend this place though.

   The ambiance, food, and service was excellent. They have done a fantastic job with the restoration of the very historic building. It was a little loud which made conversation difficult. Even so, it’s a great place. Enjoyed going there.

    Pork, bass risotto all well-prepared and vegetables were nice compliments. Veg were quite well-roasted, perhaps too much. Sauce on bass was raisin and sweet but worked surprisingly well. Party of French and German guests suitably impressed.

    Food was not good at all. We got a charcuterie board, catch of the day, and pork belly. Catch of the day had a very bitter flavor Pork belly was inedible Good place for drinks but not for dinner

    This is a fun place to be in OTR...particularly on a Saturday night. The charcuterie board is an excellent starter and upscale pub menu has lots to choose from. We had great service too!

    The only true handicap accessible way in to the restaurant is thru a locked gate next door to the front entrance. This gate only opens from the inside. I’ve been to Alcove twice this weekend and my companion had to enter the restaurant to get someone to meet us at the gate. Those who assisted us were very nice but this restaurant is not truly handicap accessible.

    Great service and a lot of fun. Brunch offered great pitchers of mimosas and a pastry platter ( great idea but find a better French bakery). Food is okay but everything else is terrific. Joanna

    We had a fun time at the Alcove but it was noisy and difficult to hear. Plus we would have loved to have chocolate for dessert. Sadly there was none.

    loved my fresh catch of the day. Others loved their chicken sliders & wagyu hamburgers! Jess was our waitress & was attentive & Ben the mrg. also checked in on us!

    We loved the vibe during happy hour. Not sure about later on in the evening and how crowded/service speed gets. Our food was great! Our waitress checked in just enough and we were never without a drink. I also ordered food to go for family and it came out perfectly.

    Service was perfect, charcuterie, meatballs, mushrooms, steak, kale salad, and Risotto were all amazing. Bourbon smash was great for a pre-batched drink on tap. Manager was super nice, too. Loved the plants, and ambiance. Will be back.

    My husband and I went to Alcove for our second time on Valentine's Day for dinner. We chose Alcove because our first visit months ago was outstanding. This night did not disappoint. The host was kind and the server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was amazing and the cocktails good. I can't recommend Alcove enough.

    Absolutely beautiful atmosphere! The service was great and Alcove is a wonderful place for pictures. The mimosas were good but the food is overpriced with little flavor. Definitely paying for the beautiful place itself! Still worth a trip for a cocktail ✨
