We were celebrating my wife's birthday. I am so glad that we chose Alcove. We had a fantastic experience! This was our first visit to MadTree Alcove and we loved it! Our server Sean was outstanding! He made fantastic suggestions and his service was spot on. Thank you for a great evening. I highly recommend the Wagyu Beef Meatballs for an appetizer and the Bone-In Ribeye was absolutely delicious.

It was great as always. Love the patio. We had a chance to send a couple from out of town for the film festival event over there, and saw them on the patio. They were looking for a place to eat, and we shared some of our favorites.

Overall this was a great dinner. We sat outside and the ambiance was very nice and very casual which made for comfortable evening. Food was good with a good selection of food and drinks. Excellent value. My only complaint is that my wife and I are vegan and our waitress was not up on vegan options. Ultimately, they delivery a great meal.

A great place for drinks especially during nice weather. The fish chips I do believe uses fish that is about to be expired as this dish was quite fishy for a mahi-mahi which is usually mild. I would be happy to go back and try something different. Service was okay as we usually had to ask for refills each time which never came. Hopefully, this is an anomaly but I would give it a chance for the atmosphere alone.

Girls night out so we thought we’d give it a try. We all loved the ambiance and the food was excellent! The corn chowder was delicious as were the carrots (there were enough for 2 people) and the braised short ribs. Highly recommend and will be returning with my husband soon!

Wife and I stopped into Alcove for Sunday brunch when visiting from out of town. Beautiful space with great options for both inside and outside seating. Had an 11:00 AM reservation and the restaurant was busy, but not full. My thought was the Brunch menu was a bit limited for choices, but the food was very good! Our server was a bit slowed by a large party that was seated ahead of us, so food was a little slow coming out. All personnel were very pleasant and professional. We were actually surprised the check came out under $40, but since we still had to drive home we did not have any alcohol. Would definitely recommend to people give Alcove a try!

We had hoped to sit outside and listen to music, but it was way too loud for us so the staff kindly moved us inside. We went pretty early for a Friday and it was very slow while we were there. I never get tired of the ambiance at Alcove...the plants on the living wall and hanging from the ceiling make it such a special place. We had the meatballs and butter board appetizer and they were yummy (a little too good, I filled up on the bread!) I had the Coffee Tablebbeer and it was SO good! I tried the Battered Fish Crisps for the first time and they were great! The fish was mahi mahi. The cranberries in the accompanying salad were super tart but I really loved the whole dish. My husband had the Smash Burger - always a hit! Our server, Michael, was super helpful, engaging, and funny to boot (always a plus when we dine out). All in all it was another great experience at Alcove.

We had a wonderfully delightful dinner. The fish was very good with the citrus salad. My friend had the short rib with the mushroom risotto which was also excellent. We ordered a side of pistachio-carrots which I wish I could make at home and have it taste as good. We enjoyed our food with the Phantom Forest brew.

My husband and I brought our family and friends here after our civil ceremony in Covington KY. We had a large party (12) and the restaurant was accommodating and helpful when our reservations needed changed. The ambience and decor were beautiful. The cocktails delicious and the charcuterie boards were 10/10. Our server was excellent. Overall would recommend this place to anyone!

Our waiter Shane was exceptional, he explained different ingredients in dishes and helped us to make our selection. He was friendly and professional. The ambiance of this place is magical, this is my second time and believe me I’ll be back with more friends!

Had an awesome lunch out in the greenhouse area. Great craft beer selection. All the entrees were unique and fun. Personally enjoyed the smash burger. Service was great.

Choose your level of being outside in 3 levels. Tasty food, friendly and attentive staff. AND GF sensitives can drink any and all of the beer. WOW

Our brunch was fabulous. Wonderful service, delicious food (see Brunch Board, Goetta Sandwich and MadGriddles). The atmosphere is green and fresh and sunlit, and after you can browse all the lovely shops in OTR. Highly recommended!

Had many different things off the menu and they were all incredible. It wasn't very busy for a Sunday morning brunch, so even without a reservation I think we would have been able to be seated right away. Loved the decor and all the light coming in from the windows!

Our Server Shane was amazing! Very attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating. 5 stars! We had the bread board to start, very good bread with nice and salty butter available if you choose. We split the bone in Ribeye which was tasty and cooked to the appropriate temp. Atmosphere was energetic and exciting.
