   Chicken tikka and lamb ragu pasta were both excellent and the stuffed date appetizer is outstanding. Rachel, our server, was very sweet and attentive. Alchemi is becoming our local favorite!

   What a wonderful pre-show dinner for our date night. The evening was perfect! We loved that the entire team was attentive throughout the evening, checking in very kindly to assure everything was perfect!

   Dinner was delicious as always! The reason why I gave a 4 star was due to the service. While the waiter was very nice, he seemed to overwhelmed, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. It started with being there for 30 minutes and only receiving a water. He had a hard time remembering drink and food orders and needed to be reminded a couple of times. With the cost of food/drinks at this establishment I would have expected much better service. I also have yet to experience service like this at this establishment so I will be back in hopes of it not happening again.

   Food was great. Service was phenomenal. Pricing was kind of all over. Wine pricing also inconsistent. There are definitely values here if you know what you're looking for. Other dishes overpriced. Would definitely go back.

    Recently booked for Valentines Day dinner and very much enjoyed the food and staff. From cocktails to dessert we were pleased - all the food and drinks were artfully presented and tasted AMAZING. Started with corpse reviver & ambrosia cocktails which were balanced, boozy and served in a fun way. For food, we ordered the bacon-wrapped Chevre Stuffed Dates (sweet/salty/creamy bites) and Alchemi salad (fresh, crisp with unique pops of mushroom) to share. Continuing with mains we had Pad Thai and New York Strip that were perfectly seasoned/cooked. The Pad Thai rivaled dishes we had in Thailand - I particularly liked the spiced nuts and generous amount of shrimp; I would have loved a larger size for the 1/2 lobster tail and hubby wanted more chimichurri atop the steak. Ended dinner with crème brûlée for dessert (crispy sweet top, rich creamy custardy center). Perfect sweet ending. We loved that the Chef brought out all courses but did notice they seemed to only have 1 waiter/1 bartender. The hostess was friendly, seated us immediately and our server was pleasant & communicative despite appearing short staffed. The decor is fine but I expected something different as far as the ambiance - the main dining room was bright and the music felt too upbeat for the setting. Overall this place is worth several return trips for food alone.

    We had a lovely evening at Alchemi. The cocktails were fantastic, the food was delicious. Our servers, Christopher and Rachel, helped us curate the perfect evening for our guest for his birthday. The chef stopped by to ask how the food was - everything was amazing. We will absolutely be coming back.

    The food and drinks were amazing! The “Johnny’s Old Smokey Old Fashion” is a must for bourbon connoisseurs. My wife and I split two dishes to include the Lobster & Shrimp Pad Thai and a beef strudel dish that were extremely flavorful. We highly recommend Alchemi and we’ll definitely be back.

    Came here last night on a first date. The restaurant was very clean and had a great vibe. Service was fast and friendly, but I did feel slightly rushed. The server was very friendly and had a smile every time I saw her. She never did state her name, however. As it was a first date we did kinda camp at the table, but as a former service worker I kept that in mind when the bill came. But we were asked several times if we were ready to cash out, making it feel like we were being rushed. Overall, the food was amazing, the service was good, and the price was on par with both. Highly recommend as a mid range priced restaurant with an elevated feel. Will definitely be returning in the future.

    That salmon was amazing! The ribs where awesome! Then came the cream Bruelle ! So delicious not so sweet but creamy and delicious. The perfect restaurant for a special celebration 🎉. Service was outstanding!

    Everything we tried was outstanding! The Thai ribs melted in our mouth and had an explosion of flavor. Shout out to the chef on the burrata and the Alchemi salad as well.

    Server spilled our $110 champagne when opening - more than a glass all over the floor. Did not apologize or get us a new bottle. Forgot plates for appetizer and seemed very distracted in general. Food was good.

    The pics of the food on social media & website all looked SO good. It was my first time coming here. I had their Salmon dish & it was very delicious. I did have to cut off the skin because the spices on it were a little too spicy for me but I have a low tolerance for spice so that’s not a dig on their salmon dish at all. Presentation was beautiful. Had 6:30 reservation - noise level was quiet. Our server Chris was great & thought it was pretty cool that Chef Johnny delivered our dinner plates to us! Def would love to come again & again & again.

    Pad Thai appetizer is good 50 dollar steak I asked for medium. Brought rare. I decided to not be an inconvenience and try it. The first 3 pieces I tried were nearly all fat, chewy, and inedible. I sent this back and requested the salmon my wife got that I had a bite and enjoyed. Salmon comes within 10 minutes and I cut into it and it is nearly raw. I call the server over and ask if it is cooked correctly and she tells me it is sushi grade instead of listening to my concerns. I mention I ordered the same entree as my wife and one is rare and the other is cooked thoroughly. At this time I send it back and ask for the bill. She comes back with the bill and says she took off the steak and salmon. I would hope so since both were inedible. Almost no apology for bad service and terribly I’ll cooked food. I recommend avoiding at all costs if you’d like to enjoy your evening out.

    Positives: food and drink are top notch, especially for a restaurant that is not in Detroit!! Try their old fashioned!!! Negative: our waiter was awful and made us feel like we were bothering him by just being there. Definitely did not make it as enjoyable of a dining experience as it should have been. We want to go back again, but will sit at the bar next time.

    Great service despite restaurant being out of multiple things - wine choice, dinner choice x2, etc. Wish flavors/seasoning was more aggressive. Will try again on a quieter night to truly get a sense of this interesting menu.
