In its bright and colorful restaurant, Alcalde serves modern Mexican cuisine with upscale flair in its friendly, Guadalajara-area eatery. The tostada de atún tuna piled on a crisp tostada with guacamole and radish and the tartar of smoked tomato juice, scalded egg yolk and pickled vegetables make unique and tasty starters. Some of Alcalde's specialty entries include the smoked octopus with vegetable risotto, the duck in adobo sauce with shrimp, chilies and eucalyptus and the juicy steak in pan jus.

Alcalde's coconut parfait with raspberry ice cream, elderberry juice and cilantro makes a perfect end to a delectable meal.

Sí es una buena experiencia cenar ahí. Puedes probar alimentos muy diferentes a lo común y entiendo que es comida de "autor", sin embargo me parecen escasas las opciones de plato fuerte y los cocteles muy pequeños. El ambiente es muy agradable, mobiliario cómodo, vajilla y cubiertos bonitos y funcionales. El personal muy amable y atento, siempre se aseguraron que no nos faltara nada.

El menú no es tan variado, como platillo principal tienen una cabeza de pescado buena pero más bien es como una entrada, no menciones fechas importantes por que no te van a pelar , sigue siendo un lugar caro pero bueno . Por cierto : el chef que presumen no está en el lugar ósea que preparan la comida cocineros
