   As always, just outstanding. Lovely food, an exceptional and changing wine list, lovely cocktails, and consistent, first class service. I also greatly appreciated the fact that I had mistakenly booked for the next Friday and, despite being busy, a spot was found for us. Albert’s is simply a gem!

   The wine list is great and, at what I’m guessing is 2x markups, prices are reasonable. We had old and new world wines by the glass, firstly chardonnay and chablis, then pjnot noir. Food was exceptional. Ricotta with honey and anchovies and a steak tartare special, followed by confit duck with roasted potatoes and a side salad of witlof with shaved parmesan and this incredible dressing. The guy who served us was excellent. I’ve been here twice now. This is a top notch place for drinks, food or both. I’ll very happily go back.

   Always excellent service, food good, wine list excellent. Love going to Albert's for a late afternoon drink with friends - and love that it's "local" for me!

   Everything went exceptionally well. Our table was ready when we arrived, the service was efficient and the drinks and food selection provided everything we wanted. Would thoroughly recommend and will return.

   Quaint neighbourhood bar with slightly more conservative wine list but still something to please everyone, and great food and great service

   Was our anniversary. Had a 1900 booking. Stood waiting for 5 minutes at the door to be seated even though there were many empty tables set for service. Waited a further 10 minutes just for water. Waited so long with empty wine glasses I had to go to the station and fill up myself each time. Which I might add, was not on ice. So, given it was a hot night, our wine was totally warm by the last two glasses. Lovely way to enjoy a bottle of fiano. Food was pretty overpriced for what we got and the quality was poor. Not to mention the completely burned bread yet still stale tasting in the middle with the pate. Wait staff couldn’t have cared less about our table. The tables either side of us were even asking me to op up their wines too. We are very well practiced in fine dining and our expectations are high but also very realistic. This failed. To then be offered 2 glasses of champagne after serving ourselves half a bottle of warm white was frankly insulting. We will not be back and will also be passing our experience to other locals.
