Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

    Alberts Standish offers three unique spaces for all types of events from weddings, corporate dinners and presentations to private parties. The spaces accommodate anything between 20 and 250 guests. We offer a wide range of menus specially created by our chefs and inspired by the seasons using only the finest of ingredients. Flooded by natural daylight, all our spaces and the rooms are versatile and as equally suited to private parties and celebrations as they are to networking events, lunches and dinners. We offer a full event planning service and every event is tailor made for you. We can arrange all aspects for your event and provide all the finishing touches to make your event perfect.

    Fabulous night at Albert’s Standish. All meals were delicious with lovely presentation. Thank you to Emily who looked after us all evening very attentive, always smiling, very polite and kept our glasses topped up, such a lovely young lady.

    We hadn’t been to Albert’s in Standish for some time, so thought we’d book a table to see what the latest experience was like. We ordered a starter (to share) and mains each. The starte arrived within 5-10 mins and was lovely - padron peppers & asparagus and salmon. Small dishes, but perfect. For the mains we both had the sea bass - absolutely fantastically cooked and definitely no complaints on the quality of the food there, either. Our experience was blighted by the fact that there was around a 30 minute gap between the starter and the mains arriving - and no one asking us if we wanted another drink whilst we waited. We knew the wait was long - because our waitress kept walking past and nervously looking at our empty table - so we guessed that she’d clocked our wait was over extended, too. Just ion the drinks - they’re tremendously expensive; we had a gin and tonic and Bacardi and diet coke - with the Coke listed at £3.40 and £3.50 for the tonic alone - and £0.90p for a splash of Elderflower !! So all in all and nice food - but a very expensive meal for two - with an extended table service time that Alberts thought was worth an additional £7.00 in ‘discretionary’ charges for the pleasure - needless to say, we had that removed from the bill. In summary, fantastic food - but drinks expensive which left us with the feeling (combined with the service charge) of disappointment

    Not the normal standard of service and ambience unfortunately , don’t know if they were short staffed but just wasn’t the normal high standard that you come to expect from the Standish Albert. Our waiter at one point smelled of cigarette smoke after obviously being for his break. We had the set menu which was really good value, although the crème brûlée was runny but still palatable.

    Fabulous meal. Friendly staff, knowledgeable about their menu, helpful with our disabilities (and good disabled facilities!!) I could have cooked None of the food on offer. And it was all tasty, and well cooked, and the different meals tasted different. A real treat, and worth spending the money to eat something so well done served by excellent staff. Thank you,

    Everything was was perfect apart from our food could have done with being warmer. It was still very enjoyable though. We shall be returning.

    Food was Fantastic! staff Fantastic! drinks Fantastic ! We have been here quit a few times now and never been disappointed in any way the restaurant was very busy lastnight but the service was still outstanding no delay on food or drinks ! We have been served by agay (sorry if spelt wrong) a few times now she is fantastic always happy and looks after us.

    Excellent food and service Was busy so noisy. Service charge added onto bill so had to pay service was great but I believe tipping should be optional
