   Lovely polite, friendly service. Food was served promptly and was absolutely delicious (had the Nourish bowl with chicken). Sat outside in the heated outdoor seating area. Pleasant atmosphere.

   My wife and I celebrated VE Day 80 with friends today, 8th May 2025, one of whom is an RAF veteran, they had never visited Albert's previously and it was our first time visiting Standish. We had a wonderful meal, as usual, as we have come to expect from Albert's and our friends were impressed. However, we must comment on one of the stars in particular, Beckie (or Becky?) we first met her when we took my wife's brother and his wife, who were visiting for their home in Crete, earlier this year to Albert's in Didsbury, Beckie was our waitress that day, she was so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble but it was her lovely smile and attitude which shone through, my brother-in-law and his wife also commented that she was without doubt the nicest waitress we had ever had the pleasure to meet. Today was no exception, as soon as she came to take our order we recognised her and she remembered us, we chatted and talked about the much anticipated new Albert's due to open at Norden in the coming months, hopefully! All the staff were friendly and professional during our visit but Beckie is a credit to the company, look after her, she's quite spacial. Joe & Katrina Mitchell

   Celebrating my cousins birthday - all had Sunday lunch & it was fantastic! All had desert & lots of wine. Sat in a booth & our server was very helpful & attentive. Looking forward to going back. Such a lovely place.

   Met my friend for breakfast at 10am, was shown to our table by a very polite young lad, the food, service and seating area was excellent and all the staff who served us were very smart, polite and efficient something that sadly is lacking in other places we've been but Albert's is certainly a cut above & we will look forward to going again and can highly recommend to others.

   The food was expensive for what it was actually worth for example 6 ravioli for £25 !! And a glass of cola was nearly £5 The Garlic bread was like M&S flat bread with tomato sauce. It’s lovely inside and the service was good. But it did feel like I walked into a local night club.

However we are sorry that you felt the value of some of our dishes didn't meet your expectations. We regularly review our pricing to ensure it reflects the quality of ingredients, the preparation involved and the overall dining experience we give. We do however appreciate your feelings and will certainly consider your points with our next menu review. In terms of the atmosphere we aim to create a vibrant ambiance, especially during very busy times such as bank holiday weekend but we regret if this detracted from your dining experience, our apologies for any disappointment caused.     Plenty of space between tables. Didn’t have to wait long for food to be served. Good quality of food and great atmosphere. Sat outside under the heaters. Will be going again.
