Neat place, quaint and off the beaten path. Very chill, live 2 man acoustic band playing and a good crowd but not "crowded". Dog friendly as well. Service was great, snacks offered were delicious, ciders were "OK". I'd stay away from the flights, they we warm, flat and no more than 2 ounces. The 12 ounce glass of the same cider had a much better taste and average between 7.0% and 9.4% alcohol content. I had a good time and would definitely go back again!
A great “early” Fall day at a great venue for sitting on the lawn, listening to some excellent live music, and enjoying their excellent cider!!!
Big thanks to all the folks that make it such a special place.
Albemarle CiderWorks is just west of Charlottesville and nestled among several wineries. It is a must stop if you are heading deeper into Nelson County perhaps venturing towards the Nelson 151. The staff was very friendly and honored our reserved table even though we were the only ones visiting at the time. The cider was very good and my wife and I enjoyed slow sipping on the stone patio. We will definitely be buying Albemarle Cider wherever we find it.
We love Albemarle Ciderworks! The cider is delicious, the setting is beautiful, and we couldn’t ask for me!
Great atmosphere, excellent cider, outstanding service. Highly recommended!
Outstanding! Great atmosphere, a variety of excellent cider, great service! I highly recommend it!
Loved this place. The staff were so friendly and warm! It felt as if they were welcoming us into their home. The cider was phenomenal and the scenery was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this place to friends to check out!
We brought in take-out food, which they encourage, so that question wasn't applicable, but I couldn't progress in the survey without rating the food. Service was superior in these pandemic times. Cider also tastes really great. I particularly love the Arkansas Black. Jupiter's Legacy is a must have. Don't overlook Harrison, 1817 and Virginia Hewes Crab. I took home a mixed case and then some. Cheers!
A really nice selection of ciders. View is amazing. Service was very good.
The cider and views were incredible. Staff was super accommodating and friendly.
The cider is delicious, the setting is beautiful, the folks are helpful and friendly.
What’s not to like?
Thanks for a fun afternoon!
Very peaceful and scenic location, yet easy to navigate to. Employees were extremely kind and welcoming. The ciders were delicious! I hope to come back again!
Good place for ciders. Almost all of the ciders qre very dry.
Great cider, wonderful atmosphere, excellent service, and fantastic music! We'll be back!
Albemarle Cider Works has excellent cider available. The atmosphere is great and the service is outstanding.
No food available, so bring with if you're hungry. Cider was great, didn't dislike any! The brut is best. Live music made the experience extra pleasant- the musician kept her volume low and made sure she wasn't blasting us by asking. Staff was super nice & accommodating.
They don’t really have food, just chips, etc. My review is for the cider and the ambiance, both of which are very good and well worth the visit. We’ve been members for years, for a reason. Highly recommend.
Great venue with music and great cider. Very friendly staff.
