Albatross Ridge Tasting Room - Downtown Carmel

Are tasting was very enjoyable are SOM was amazing with all the details of the wines in the area would totally recommend especially the pinots.

Actually, we had a tasting only with no food, but JK was very attentive and made our tasting delightful.

We loved our tasting at Albatross Ridge tasting room. We had a table outside and tasted 5 wines - all were great. The sommelier was very knowledgable and passionate about the wines. We got the mediterranean plate - it was good but nothing fancy. Would definitely recommend Albatross Ridge.

We always enjoy dining at Flahterys and Aw Schucks. The food and ambiance was fantastic as always.

We went on a Thursday so it was pretty quiet and we enjoyed it a lot. I didn’t catch the guys name that was helping us but he was awesome! Would recommend this place during the week when it’s more quiet.

Pretty skimpy pours for a $20 tasting. They only gave 3 pours which seemed a lot for the price. The ambiance is was ok outside. Food was also pricey - not a lot for basically a food tasting as well. Quality of everything was good. Service was average.

This is my favorite tasting room in Carmel!!! I love that the physical vineyard is located just a couple miles up the road toward Camel Valley (they even offer private tours of the vineyard which are also super fun!) You can’t go wrong with any of their wines but my faves are the 2017 First Flight Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, next is the 2019 Rose all day and last but surely not least their 2017 Pinot Noir is full bodied and absolutely fantastic. Additionally they have paired with The Cheese Shop here in Carmel and make a nice little charcuterie if you’re looking to munch on something while tasting!

We visited in mid-August the day after they put in the outdoor porch seating. The wine was delicious, and the seating was comfortable and spacious. I think they are doing a great job following the state guidelines, and I would recommend coming here now and in the future.

The Tasting Room location in Downtown Carmel was closed due to construction work, but no one took care of cancelling previous reservations. So when we showed up there was only a sign at the door announcing the daily closure. Very disappointing.

My partner and I really enjoyed our wine tasting experience at Albatross Ridge. Our server was friendly and extremely knowledgable. I would recommend ordering the charcuterie plate along with the 5 wine taster. We will definitely be visiting when we return to Carmel.

We reserved a table outside on their new patio. Richard was our server and he was amazing, charming, knowledgable and an overall joy to spend our time with! The wines were fantastic! It was the perfect way to kick off our girlfriend getaway weekend!

The service here was excellent! We were running a little late but greeted so warmly. Sat outside on a big table with 5 friends, just 2 or 3 other tables out front.
The wine was lovely! And we got an expected meat and chessboard too!
