Everything we hoped it would be — delicious traditional Middle eastern food in a beautiful setting. We waited for one of the tables on the sidewalk out front and were rewarded with a perfect evening. Outstanding waiter — highly recommend this restaurant!

We grew up in a city with a large population of people from various Middle Eastern countries and subsequently opened restaurants. However, we have never enjoyed any food more than we did at AlBadawi. In fact, everything was superb! The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. Our server, Dina, was exemplary! The only problem is, how can go back to the restaurants we once loved? AlBadawi is head and shoulders above any other Middle Eastern cuisine we have ever eaten!

The staff is extremely personable but clearly stretched very thin. Service always takes forever to get started. Have to beg for water, menu, get the order going. The food’s excellent and that’s why I keep coming back!

The food at Al Badawi is delicious It is delicately spiced and beautifully prepared. The service is prompt and courteous. The surroundings are charming, with beautiful flower displays and I particularly like the heavy pottery dishes and cups. I would highly recommend this restaurant

The food here is very good. The service was off -- staff kept stopping by when we weren't ready to order yet, but then it was difficult to get their attention. The biggest problem for me was the acoustics. On a Tuesday night, the volume of people talking was so loud that my friend and I kept having to ask each other to repeat things. I shudder to think what a Friday or Saturday would be like. I'll go back, but maybe sit in the outside kiosk.

Amazing food and as a vegetarian I highly recommend the mezze and a veggie flatbread. All the ingredients taste homemade and truly lives up to their 'family style restaurant'. The decor is gorgeous and inventive! Only thing is that in the summer it gets hot despite the A/C due to the open kitchen and oven in the front so be aware of that. FYI it's BYOB here!

Amazing, high quality ingredients. Everything tasted super fresh. Flavors are authentic and the entire restaurant provides a unique experience. It's pricey but worth the money. My only gripe is that servers were not as attentive as we would have liked, but it may be because we were tucked into a corner.

Lousy service, decent food. They didn’t understand that I wanted to have 2 appetizers for dinner and kept bringing them in advance while my friend waited for her dinner. We ordered dessert and they never brought it then finally when we asked, we were told that it had something I was allergic to in it.

I went to Al Badawi earlier this year and it became one of my favorite restaurants in the city ever since. The food is so delicious and, having grown up eating Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian food, it feels authentic. The bread is oven-to-table, warm and yummy and the Ouzi is just *chef's kiss* The staff is very attentive with an outstanding service. Also, the flowers and green everywhere makes the ambiance really pleasant. FYI, the place is BYOB, so if you like a glass of wine with your meals, don't forget to bring a bottle.

We enjoyed a delicious family dinner at Al Badawi last night. The fried halloumi was outstanding - as was the falafel, shawarma and everything else we ordered. The bread is out of this world. Portions are huge so we went home with lots of boxes. Place is hopping and it’s BYOB. Service was attentive, warm, and the space is absolutely beautiful. Be sure to make reservations.

My husband wanted to try this restaurant based on a recommendation. The service was fantastic -- prompt and very friendly. The food was ... meh. It could be that Palestinian food is just not our thing, but out of the 4 of us, no one loved what they ordered. Again this could simply be personal taste. The portions were huge, and prices were a bit high. For 1/3 less cost, our family of 4 can eat elsewhere and enjoy our food a lot more. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
