Great atmosphere and great food. Menu is limited but everything is so good you cannot make a wrong choice.
The menu is always great. The food excellent. The atmosphere is fun.
This is a must stop whenever we're in town. The food is to die for and Mara our server was the best. Alavita, yes please!
We loved our server!!
Cute place for a date night! Amazing food and the waitress gave great suggestions.
Always delicious. One of my favs!!
Alavita was excellent, as usual. The new Short Rib Gnudi item was outstanding. I've been thinking about it since we dined there. Looking forward to trying more of the new menu items in the near future!
Pasta was chewy, tepid, and very lightly colored with a modicum of sauce. Salad was a pile of weeds. Chicken gravy was over salted. BAD OVERPRICED FOOD.
Our favorite restaurant in Boise. It never disappoints!
Family dinner on a special evening for my niece! She loved the ambiance and the food. Three of us have severe gluten allergies. We were delighted to find the new menu had so many amazing options!
Our third Christmas Eve having dinner at Alavita. A nice, relaxing evening with wonderful food.
Food and service were excellent. Thank you for a nice Christmas Eve dinner!
We have been going here every year for Christmas Eve and birthdays and it never disappoints. The food is always amazing as is the service.
Food was delicious and the drinks were fantastic!!
Best restaurant in Boise. I love this place and most definitely will return.
Great food and atmosphere. Wait staff was very attentive. I would eat here again.
The food is great. Very fresh. Our waitress was knowledgeable, attentive, and quick. We love going there for special occasions.
Best Italian in Bosie. Everything seems really well planned and portioned, and the menu items go well together. A nice selection of wines, so make sure you try a few. I'll be going back many times.
Great dining experience. Good food, great service in an enjoyable dining atmosphere.
Always a favorite & never disappoints. Wonderful staff, awesome decor, and such delicious food!
Very pricey but worth it. If you looking for value you won’t find it here. However, if you looking for flavorful Italian and a great ambiance then this is your place.
It was fabulous.
This was our family’s first visit to Boise and the folks at Alavita were very welcoming. They created a lasting impression with their food and customer experience. We’ll done!
Better than advertised by friends. Small, quaint and charming inside - food was off the charts, drinks were amazing and service was exceptional.
We took my mother in law for her bday dinner. We arrived on-time for our Rez at 7:15pm. We were seated quickly, placed drink/app order quickly and it arrived timely. The downfall was placing our dinner order and having to wait over an hour for it to be served. All dishes were great, we were just starving having to wait that long for main courses. We will go again. Hoping that wait doesn’t happen again.
Excellent service! Calamari was very good, pasta dishes were flavorful
Dessert-superb as always.
Our evening out started perfectly at Alavita. Our servers were friendly and efficient and our dinner magnificent- as always.
Our 2nd visit to Alavita and it was excellent! The food, friendly and courteous staff and servers. The $10 corkage fee is nice too.
They forgot to prepare shrimp for our son’s salad but still served everyone else’s dinner. Then kitchen staff must of rushed, and cranked up fire on shrimp. The shrimp came out tasting burnt - horrible gasoline taste. All other meals lacking in flavor. Italian selection of wine and atmosphere only plus.
The food was spectacular! My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in style with a warm, chic ambience. He ordered the smoked bourbon - presentation on point! A must visit and enjoy!
Cute little place and the food started out fine with burrata and salads. Unfortunately, things took a nose dive from there. The risotto was WAY too salty, and I love salt! As in, I salt almost everything, even water at times. But this was like a salt lick, completely inedible. Likewise, the “Roman” carbonara was WAY too peppery! I’ve spent considerable time in Rome, and this is NOT Roman carbonara. It was too peppery for even Cacio e Pepe. Huge tooth chipping peppercorns throughout, and the whole dish had a gross gray hue because of the excessive pepper. To finish, we ordered gelato and got bowls of ice creamy soup. Literally, just a bowl of gelato broth. The waitress said this is because they can’t keep their cooler cold enough. Really? That’s your excuse? Not only is it concerning from a food safety aspect, but it’s just unacceptable to serve items that are clearly off. They comped us the risotto, carbonara, and gelato, but it’s not about the money. We’re more than happy to pay and didn’t ask to be comped, it’s about chefs that are clearly not properly trained, and a restaurant that does not hold itself to basic standards of service. Hugely disappointing.
Tagliatelle is my favorite. Rich and meaty and perfectly cooked pasta. Husband had carbonara. It was extremely rich and also delicious. Will definitely return!
Always love Altavita!!
Our third time here and never disappoints. Waitress was outstanding and the food was very good.
I would refer anyone there. Is a treat.
Perfect evening. Staff was awesome, food was amazing, setting and ambiance were great. Definitely will be going back.
Had a horrible experience none of the food was cooked all the way the shrimp was raw and the black ravioli meal was very undercooked
The food was awful and cheap, made our stomachs hurt, poor quality and way over priced
What a gem. First time in Boise. This place is gold. Special. Great rare balance of food wine and service and the rest flows from there.
