   Spreads were great. Bread wasn’t warm like last time. Kabobs were fair. Sorry First time I ate was great. This time mediocre.

   The first time in Alara Georgetown and our hostess was so kind, unfortunately I didn't ask her name.. She accommodated us in a nice tanle! Reina was our helper bringing sparkling water, and fresh hot bread was so helpful and polite. Abraham was our server, helpful, and made nice recommendations. The plates were delicious and tasty!! We will be back for sure!!

   Great place for lunch with colleagues/friends! Service was excellent, food delicious and healthy, and interior design is very stylish. Yes, will come back:)

   While we liked the ambiance of the restaurant a lot and the food was good, we felt the service was lacking. I had a tree nut allergy and notified my server when ordering then two of our dishes came back with nuts in it. If I had known that, we would not have ordered the same way. When one of the plates with the walnut was placed at the table it looked suspicious right away and we asked the other server to verify if it was a tree nut then he said avoid it. Then our second dish with the eggplant looked a little suspicious with nuts too and the server then told us after checking with the kitchen after the meal was placed to avoid that too. It also took a long time for the first round of drinks and then receiving the credit cards back from the final check. Overall, was disappointed in how the allergy sensitivity was handled the most.

   The food was good, but I was alarmed when we received the bill. There was a 20% service charge - but that did not include tip! So they expect a 40% charge on top of the bill? We will not return.

   Delicious! Would definitely go back! Only complaint is there are way too many tables on the floor, it’s quite cramped for seating and clear that the waiters struggled to get around chairs of people. As a result it was also quite loud. I think it would be a better customer experience if a few tables on the upper section in the back were removed or pushed together… if you go I highly recommend trying to request a booth or table at the front of the restaurant! Otherwise- fantastic drinks, food and the waiters were lovely!

    Alara is now in my regulars’ list. The food was outstanding, and the service very nice, fun, and extremely attentive. The cocktail menu is fun and original, bringing cool spins to Raki and Arak.
