Great meal and excellent service
Nice spot for dinner if heading Downtown. Interesting menu. Food was good. Service was good. Very interesting wine list.
Good food and great atmosphere, but you're really paying for the hipster location.
Absolutely brilliant food. The lamb belly melts in your mouth, as did the cod. Would recommend but don’t tell everybody otherwise I won’t be able to get in again!
Food was beyond amazing, our server Eduardo P seemed to really unhappy. Was rude and short.
Everything was great besides the server, will go back
Ritchie was fabulous. Genuinely cared
Service was great when they took our drink and dinner order. Then the man who was waiting on us disappeared and we got absolutely no attention the rest of the night. Entrees came very late. Veggies didn’t come at all. We had to remind two servers that we even ordered them. They came much later. No attempt to compensate. It was a Birthday. It was absurd. So easy to have paid some attention to our table. Very disappointed
The food was decent. Not worth the price though. The service was excellent but probably wouldn't come back here.
The menu is focused with a few pastas and proteins as mains, a few salads and snacks to start. Everything we ordered was delicious and flawless cooked. If you are afraid of butter you best avoid this place!
Amazing dining experience. The food was fantastic - incredible flavors, so well balanced. Just an incredible treat.
Creep LA. It was good. Probably would have enjoyed lee variety on menu. Especially with meat. But very tasty
Fun interesting spot. Delicious and unusual cocktail and yummy food.
Amazing cocktails Pasta was absolutely delicious craving it the next day, so perfectly cooked and the flavors were so deeply layered. Loved the outside bar and seating and now inspired to have a group of friends there for a dining experience. By my observation the owner Chris is very devoted to all the details of his restaurant.
Everything was spot on. Will definitely come back with friends.
Great food and a really fun place to eat. Strongly recommend.
Very hard to find. Never answer the phone at night for questions or directions. Nothing spectacular about the food. The bread was the best thing about the restaurant. So noisy that you had to yell at your dinner partner. Horrible location and definitely not DOWNTOWN L A. East LA maybe.
WAY too loud in there---there is no acoustic treatment/curtains, anything to absorb the (LOUD) environment. All of us complained we couldn't hear each other's conversations. I wish restauranteurs recognized that this is just as important as having great food. The food was okay...the cod was very fishy and underglaze but the consistency was nice. Bread & cheese apps were delicious. Chocolate cake was very dry. Also adding a gluten-free pasta since they're so known for them would be a nice addition. This place could stand to make some improvements, as it's in a very cute locale and will do nicely if it adjusts.
Such interesting and delicious food. Every item we tried was great and had a little extra something special that elevated the flavor. From the olives, to the desserts. It is this attention to detail that made this meal so different. Lamb belly, homemade pasta, that bread and butter, all so wonderful. We were looking for a pre-theater dinner and Alameda Supper Club did not disappoint. We will definately be back.
Superb!! The next (if not already) GREAT Arts District find. A bit off the beaten path but well, well worth it. The food, service, and exceptionally attentive and helpful staff made this one of our quick and top "go-to" DTLA spots.
We are outside under the twinkling lights amongst the buildings. First, the food: Amazing! Not just one dish - all of them! Rather than make you read a list, the highlights were the black cod and the mushrooms. But the most impressive part was how consistently great they ALL were. The service was really nice. The drinks were unique twists on the usual. Super yummy! The parking lot is huge and it’s a little challenging to find the restaurant. Fortunately, it’s a fun area to walk around. A special restaurant.
Food and service were fantastic. The sommelier was fun and super helpful.
Second time here. The hostess each time was terrible. . Half hour wait time even with reservations . The space is lovely and the bread and butter fantastic. Food is ok. Best pasta was spaghetti with tomato sauce. The beans are ok. Flavor is good but the strings make it less enjoyable. Wine selection good. I really like the space but very irritated with hosts and the food ok , not the best , not the worst.
Disney Hall Concert
Excellent food prep. flavors, choice of ingredients were all great!
Delicious and creative food. Loved the endive salad and the black cod. We dined on the patio which was relaxing and comfortable. I would definitely go there again.
Very good food, in a great downtown space. Really the only gripe is how slow the kitchen was, given that the restaurant, on a Friday night, wasn't even half full.
Amazing experience! Service was great!
Most amazing experience. Great food. Great everything. Thank you!!!
The Front of House staff was attentive and charming. Very knowledgeable sommelier and the food was exceptional. Beautifully simple and well executed dishes. A wonderful experience all together.
I was seated at the bar, which turned out well since I was taken care of by Jennie, who is awesome. She gave me some wonderful selection ideas. I started with the prosciutto. Huge plate, yet it didn’t look familiar. I then found out it’s made in-house, giving it more of a thinly sliced pinkish ham look. The apricot sauce worked perfectly with it. It was delicious, and I was concerned that it would fill me up for my entree. This was not the case, though. As delicious as the pasta entree was, it was the size of an appetizer. Should’ve been about 50% more. I’d be left hungry if it wasn’t for the prosciutto. As it was, I was still a little hungry and had room for dessert. Opted for the cannolis. Like the other food, these were perfect. Tender crusts; not the thick, hard shells you’d often find. So, the service, the people, the food - absolutely the best. Only complaint is the entree portion, which was smaller than my fist. I’ll definitely go back - I’ll just be aware.
It was very pleasant and food was very good. The service was excellent.
Staff was lovely, included a birthday cake and a loaf of housemade bread.
Food was fantastic, setting felt like something different, and service was great.
What a surprise this restaurant was, it was low key and simultaneously high brow. The service was excellent, the food absolutely delicious all in a fun location. It was a bit expensive for me. Love this place!
We were treated like royalty! Our server was incredibly polite, helpful and friendly (I wish I remembered his name) and the GM, Xavier also visited us to welcome us and make sure everything was ok. It was more than OK, the oysters, the ham and cheese toasts, the salad, the pastas, all equally as delicious. Then that chocolate cake - well - cherry on the cake!!! We will be returning - 110%!
need more choices on the menu---more wine choices at more reasonable prices---prices in general a little high---ambiance and service were excellent
Well, we went in, got the prosciutto, which looked like ham, but was delicious nonetheless. I recommend getting the bread to go with, they were kind enough to give us the bread, which we didn’t order, and it really tied the dish together. Also the quenelle on the butter was beautiful. Well done on that sir (or ma’am)
The pastas! Were! So! Good! Wished the tomato spaghetti dish had more spaghetti but what are you gonna do.
The texture of the granite on the pan a cotta was PERFECT. great dessert all around, would recommend 10/10
I'm torn as to how much I liked Alameda Supper Club. My husband, who isn't really into fine dining, loved it, he liked the portion size and really enjoyed the food we got (bread and butter, oysters, strozzapretti, lamb belly, and mushrooms). We went on a Sunday evening, the moment we sat down, our server told us that because we came on a Sunday, they were out of a lot of things (it seems like their menu may restart on Mondays?) so none of the fish on the menu was available. I think I just felt a little out of place because some of the tables around us seemed to be getting a "VIP" treatment while we weren't. In my reservation (which to be far, I did have change to 15 minutes later) I noted that we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary and would like an intimate outdoor table, but when we got there, they told us they were closing the bar-side of their outdoor seating so we would only be able to sit in a more compact, communal style outdoor table or inside. Since I went through the [minimal] effort of making the note on my reservation, I wish someone had bothered to read it and acknowledge it at least. My husband, who is a "meat and potatoes" kind of guy and therefore difficult to impress when it comes to fine dining, was really happy and said he'd happily come back. I think I personally had higher expectations and therefore walked away thinking it was really good, but not great.
The food was amazing. The location was super cool. Service was good not great. Pricey for the dishes but worth it!
Food was great !
