Great service. Amazing food.
Excellent food and service. Electricity went out but it didn’t affect service, food or ambience. Owner and staff attentive and personable and professional. Excellent wine recommendation.
A superb restaurant! Outstanding supervision by the owner and her family!! Extremely attentive service nd excellent cooking!!
Went with CUA freshman as a last supper. Outstanding small menu and caring hosts and service. We will return in the coming years
Al Crostino offers fresh Italian food and an outstanding selection of wine. The owner will personally take care of you. I love this place!
We went for Sunday brunch and it was amazing! The menu is small, but still a good selection. We ordered the carbonara and chicken and waffles. Both were superb. We never had to wait for drink refills on our bottomless and the chef/owner even wandered around assisting tables. It was a very pleasant brunch!
Very disappointing. The food and drinks were not what we expected and the prices were exaggerated. The service wasn’t particularly friendly either. Not to recommend.
Really GOOD! My favorite Italian Restaurant around town👍
Food was delicious as always. Am from Pennsylvania but visit Al Crostino at least once a year. Always good service, excellent food and good drinks.
Such a neighborhood gem!!
We always love going to Al Crostino. Great Italian food/wine and attentive service. Celebrated my birthday here and they really went above and beyond! Thanks Al Crostino!
I went hear with a small business group for dinner. All of us loved our meal and the wine. This is a cozy and authentic restaurant that won't disappoint. The food is swoon worthy, the service impeccable and the owner is a delight. I love that the menu changes with the season and the pasta is homemade.
The best Italian restaurant in the metro area. Juliana, the owner, knows how to make you feel special, serve amazing food and be a delightful host. Go today!!!!!
Pastas outstanding. Main courses were very good. Mozzarella was excellent and well seasoned, but deserves much better/riper tomatoes to accompany it. Server seemed a bit overwhelmed at times. Overall an enjoyable experience. Thanks.
Excellent food and romantic ambiance. Julianna not only prepares amazing food, but she is friendly and welcoming...loves to engage with her customers. We just love that about Al Crostino. It’s a place where food is made with great thought and much love!
Everything was out of this world. Truly authentic Italian food!
The new summer menu is spectacular. Loved the new chicken entree. Delicious and special.
The location provides an intimate environment for two or a group of 8 but the food and price leaves a lot more to be desired
Great as usual. I’ve loved this restaurant for 13 years. Yum always
Incredible pasta dishes. Nice neighborhood feel. Local regulars were warmly greeted.
Delicious food. Well taken care of by staff and chef/owner. Our go to Italian couple date night.
I've visited Al Crostino several times with friends. We've always been very happy with the experience and the food . . . just excellent.
Very nice Sunday brunch.
Loved it! Mama is in the kitchen and all the pasta is homemade. Family owned - and you can feel the love!
Great ambiance, food, and service!
Decent food. Good service. Wine pours a little stingy. Nice neighborhood place. Good tiramisu.
The food is always fantastic and the lemon cello martinis are a great start to dinner.
The gang at Al Crostino is amazing. The food, the wine, the atmosphere... I can't say enough good things about Juliana, Valentino, and Lina. They treat us like family every time we visit. Over the past 10 years, we've never had a bad meal--always a great culinary experience!
Great food. Great service. Wonderful experience.
Although open table said there were only a handful of tables open when we reserved, we ended up being the only table for the hour and half we were there (7:30-9). It wasn’t a problem, especially since we didn’t have to waited about waiting for food or trying to find the waiter. The food was delicious; however the stuffed mushrooms were over priced for the serving size ($14 for 2, 1/2 inch mushrooms). Overall, I was happy with the evening and we got donuts for desert from the store a couple doors over.
Pasta noodles seemed to be cooked from a $0.99 package from Safeway. It's hard to recommend an "Italian" place when it can't even do noodles right... Service was okay.
We went for brunch... I had my reservations but immediately were erased by the friendly service!
The Brunch menu is limited but the two entrees we had were PERFECT! I guess they don't need much more, however, some sweets comfort entrees could be included.
Mimosas were fine... bottomless! :-)
Service was the best, He did all possible to be sure we had a great time and indeed we had it!
This is a local favorite of ours. We have taken a wide range of people, including business colleuages, family and friends. The food is excellent, the serivce first rate and a low key friendly environment.
As always Al Crostino is one of the best Italian meals in the DMV! The food is absolutely delicious and consistently fantastic! Aside from the amazing food the service and the absolute warmth we feel from the owners and the staff each and every time makes us come back time and again.
The food is always delicious. The service fantastic. I love this restaurant!
Exceptional Italian food freshly prepared. They made special accommodations for daughter who is vegan which was much appreciated! Very pleasant dining experience.
We were from out of town and chose this restaurant based on online research of the award winning Italian restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious. The service was very attentive. The portions were on the smaller side which makes them relatively pricey but the quality helped justify the cost. When we return to DC we would like to dine there again.
Great for quiet business dinner or a date night.
The food was horrible! No presentation or flavor whatsoever...an overpriced hot mess! Will not be back!
Honestly, I selected this restaurant because of Open Table and the amount of points I would earn. Much to my surprise, everything about the place was amazing. We were greeted by the Chef and our server and immediately seated. The octopus starter was the best I've ever eaten. The pasta dishes were superb. The food reminded me of being in Florence again. One of the best pasta meals I've had in a very long time. Bravo and I will definitely be back!!!
Excellent food and service. As usual. We had a great experience.
