I love Japanese food. However, the menu we had for Dubai Restaurant Week was another level of master cuisine. Akira Back interpretation is an adventure to discover new tastes on well known dishes. All of this, backed by a wonderful staff who cares, a dramatic scene overlooking the palm island and music at it's best. It was a wonderful evening.

It is an simply amazing restaurante and one of the best we've ever been. The quality of the japanese Ford is not from this world. And the waiters are so friendly. The view over the Palm is like in a movie from Hollywood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next time in Dubai, we have to be there again.

this used to be my fav restaurant but now it dead unfortunately. the food was blant, the brussel sprouts where overburnt, the menu hasnt changed in years, the ambience was bad, the AC was too cold in some areas and service wasnt good. I shared with the staff that the brussel sprouts were burnt but she didnt care. the restaurant was empty which im not surprised about. thats sad to see

Absolutely fantastic food and wonderful service. Was my wife’s 50th and they looked after us fantastically - giving a few extra desserts at the end. Definitely recommend - lovely staff!

I had a lovely evening dining at Akira Back with my wife. The overall experience was truly impressive, the food exceeded our expectations, beautifully presented and full of flavor. The staff were attentive, warm, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening. The ambiance of the restaurant was elegant and thoughtfully designed, creating a perfect setting for a relaxed dinner. One small note: while the dim lighting added to the atmosphere and felt quite pleasant at first, we felt that a touch more light during the meal itself would have enhanced the dining experience, especially when it came to fully appreciating the presentation of the dishes. That said, it was a memorable evening, and we look forward to visiting again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience with excellent food and service.
