Aki Nom Nom Sushi & Ramen
Aki is our favorite go-to sushi place in the city! My husband and I go just about every other Friday and the sushi is AMAZING and every member of the staff is EXCELLENT! Tables are spaced well and staff is making every effort to be safe and clean!
Amazing food-love eating here Highly recommended
A great experience all around. We were seated promptly and the staff was very professional and attentive. The food was great.
This restaurant has not honored my bookings through open table on either occasion. I arrived with my Z
Kind staff and great service as well as amazing food! Would def go again.
I love AKI. The service is always stellar and the food is amazing. Highly recommend
We made reservations for 10 pm but when we arrived they were closed. I never got a call from the restaurant informing me that my reservation couldn't be honored, so to show up to a pitch black restaurant with no explanation as to why when I had a confirmed reservation was a bit frustrating to say in the least.
Food was okay
There were limited veg options with regards to the sushi, and a broader ramen menu for vegetarians. However, the Veg tan tan ramen was very different than what was expected.
Seated 15 minutes late despite reservation; waited for food for 55 minutes.
We enjoyed the ambiance and service. The food was good but not great. We had the signature ramen, not the best I've had in the city. We had some sushi, which was decent.
Everyone in our party ordered the all-you-can-eat package. Worth the price! Super good rolls and sushis.
Bad food need more options for all you can eat add more shrimp to the sushi use fresh ingredients
We were seated promptly at our reservation time, and had a great meal! All the food was done perfectly and tasted great! I would definitely return again in the future!
great meal and on Valentine's nite! consistently very well run restaurant and consistently high quality reasoably priced good... when we want a clean healthy tasty meal (which is how we think of really well executed Japanese food) we go to Aki. and despite the incredible crush of customers that nite, the food was delicious, prepared in a timely manner and our server was unfailingly polite & attentive.
Valentines Day on a Friday night. This place was packed and turning people away at the door every couple minutes. Glad I made reservations. Seated
Really loved it
Food was delicious and obviously high quality ingredients. The serving sizes were perfect value for the price. Went here for Valentine’s Day, highly recommend.
Got a reservation at a prime time on a weekend. Service was prompt and relaxed at the appropriate times. Restaurant was not crowded and we were able to stay at the table longer than usual, which was great for catching up with friends.
The food was fine. I love tonkotsu ramen, but my dish lacked some of the depth of other great places in Philly. Friends were neutral to slightly positive on the sushi.
Overall, a good place for lunch or a quick bite, but wouldn't make Aki a destination.
Salmon was still partial frozen, not all dishes ordered came out, was good but have been to better all you can eat sushi options in the area
Wonderful food and great sushi!
They do not have one of the main ramens pictured on their menu. Not a problem, but just a little disappointing when I went to order it. The waiter said that it hasn’t been available for a very long time, they just haven’t removed it.
I was very impressed by the food and the waiting staff were super nice. I would definitely go back.
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the all-you-can-eat menu. Fresh and great quality.
Dara was so great and guided us through our selections. Very tasty! Thanks, Dara!! :)
A very nice restaurant! The drink I ordered (Amaretto Sour) was solid. The edamame appetizer was good, and the Lobster Mazy sushi was very tasty. I can see myself returning!
Enjoyed the food. Wish they had the lunch menu on Sunday. Dinner was more than I could finish. My co-eaters also enjoyed their food.
Though pretty packed early on a Friday evening, drawing a young crowd by virtue of an all-you-can-eat sushi special menu. We tried both a standard and vegetarian ramen, and in both, the garnishes and noodles added were so chilled they cooled the broth too much, and all were tasteless and tough to chew. The quality of ingredients in all the food we tried was sub par, and was no treat for these diners.
I enjoyed all of the sushi I tried. The service was amazing and the waiter made sure that my date and myself had everything we needed.
AMAZING!!! Could not believe this place was near-empty for restaurant week. We originally wanted to go to Sampan but they were all booked up and we are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GLAD we ended up at Aki Nom Nom.
The food is amazing and fresh and delicious. Our waiter DAVID was excellent and accommodating. He was prompt with checking on our table of 4 hungry women.
When I didn’t like the starter I had chosen off of the restaurant week menu he could tell and offered to bring me something different. I really liked what he brought me instead ! He brought me more of the one thing he could tel i DID like out of my starter sampler along with some other things to try.
Service was excellent. We sat there for almost two hours. Oh the BEST PART?? of my four friends I was the only one that actually chose the restaurant week menu. Everyone else opted for the all you can eat sushi because it was such a great value.
The sushi is all you can eat but so are the appetizers!!! Unlimited dumplings are you serious?!!?!!
The Aki nom nom ramen was also amazing. I’d never had real ramen and that was why we chose this place.
I loved everything he brought out I’m just not a huge fan of the raw or unsmoked fish by itself. I prefer it in the sushi. And David was extremely accommodating.
Because they were empty during restaurant week I am terrified that no one knows about this place and although I would love to keep it a secret just for myself, I know that if they don’t do good business they could close down and I definitely don’t want that!!!
Spread the word about AKI NOM NOM PHILLY
Loved the food and the service! All you can eat sushi for such a low price great!
Went on a Thursday for happy hour drink deals. Lychee cocktail was good. Tofu app was not good- oily, no flavor. Yellowtail app a great deal! Sushi was good, but regrettably did find myself feeling sick after the meal. Can’t pinpoint which item it might have been. Would give a second try to see if it was a fluke. Freezing under the fans at the bar, look up and be mindful of where you sit as there are fans overhead.
Great food and service
The food was dry but the only thing notable was the drinks
The unlimited sushi deal is unbeatable, and delicious. Love the cocktails too!
Delicious food and cool atmosphere! Also super affordable
Aki is hands down one of my top ten restaurants to go to in the city and my favorite for sushi and ramen. The service is always personalized and attentive. Also a great happy hour spot.
It was easy to make a reservation. There was no wait. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The food came quickly and was delicious. Will definitely be going back.
Had a 9:30 reservation for 4, got an email the restaurant canceled, called them, they said they didn’t! We asked if 9:30 was talk late since they have all you can eat, was guaranteed on the phone it wasn’t! Got to the restaurant 930, was told the kitchen closes at 9:50, and the waitress was rushed us to the point of we ordered off the regular menu and not even what we wanted! One of our friends ordered all you can eat and she took the menu away and when he asked to add more she told him you have 1 min only left!!! It’s really sad bc the food is delicious!! However having to eat your ramen and sushi rolls in a few minutes was horrible!!!!! That waitress was beyond rude!!!! Young white curl with Black curly hair!!! The worst!!!!
We had dinner for my daughter‘s high school graduation and had an excellent experience. The server was patient and attentive. The food was outstanding. I will be recommending my family and friends.
