AKASHA restaurant/bar/cafe features New American cuisine offering comfort food with big flavors and sustainable ingredients, for carnivores and herbivores alike. Chef/Caterer Akasha Richmond brings visionary cuisine to her own neighborhood eatery located in the historic Hull Building in downtown Culver City. Keeping the principles of sustainability in mind, the building's original steel, wood, concrete and brick arches were restored while the design materials pair with a seventies modernity to exude an inviting and lively atmosphere. The artisan bakery has both sweet and savory selections, as well as locally roasted direct trade coffee. The 20-seat bar highlights fresh juice cocktails, organic and premium spirits, beer and wine. The entire menu is available for catering or to go.

Fantastic and delicious first experience. Blake was attentive and friendly. The tiramisu French toast was a great treat for everyone. The salads and dressing delightful, the steak was perfectly marinated and cooked. Great spot for all theater goers with ample parking, easy in and out access. Definitely recommend this restaurant in Culver City.

The food was delicious with the margarita pizza, fish tacos and sweet potato fries. Our waiter was attentive, recommended items and was there to check in on us. Would highly recommend AKASHA.

Beet salad came without the beets. Had to chase down waiter to get the beets. Quinoa bowl with chicken came without the chicken. Burger with mustard came without mustard. Go to Akasha often. Worst experience this time.

We love eating at Akasha. We seem to be there quite often. I Just got home from there. Had the BLTA and it was yummy. You can actually hear everyone at the table. I drive a ways to come there because we live in Orange County, so it's quiite a schlepp.
