L'établissement AKASHA est un restaurant/bar/café proposant une cuisine américaine nouvelle avec de la nourriture réconfortante aux grandes saveurs et aux ingrédients durables, aussi bien pour les carnivores que pour les herbivores. La chef traiteur Akasha Richmond apporte sa vision culinaire dans son propre restaurant de quartier occupant le bâtiment d'époque Hull dans le centre-ville de Culver City. En gardant les principes de la durabilité à l'esprit, les arches en acier, bois, béton et brique d'origine du bâtiment ont été restaurées, tandis que les matériaux pour la décoration s'allient avec la modernité des années 1970 pour exsuder une atmosphère accueillante et animée.     Beet salad came without the beets. Had to chase down waiter to get the beets. Quinoa bowl with chicken came without the chicken. Burger with mustard came without mustard. Go to Akasha often. Worst experience this time.

    Husband and I went to get a bite before a play at the Kirk Douglas. We had a reservation for a table but decided to sit at the bar. The service was fast and friendly. Wednesday is fun because bottles of wine are half off so it's a great deal. We had the tandoori chicken wings, brussel sprouts and the smashburger. Everything was delicious, perfectly seasoned and very fresh. We will definitely be back soon!

    I have eaten at the bar before and really liked the food but last night I ordered the hamburger for the first time and it was very disappointing. A thin fatty patty on a doughy bun.

    Food was good. Service was good. Didn’t have water refills after bill was paid, though. Restaurant was cleared out by that time.  Be aware of kitchen love that they add on the bill before the tip.
