My second time was as good as the first! Dinner the first time and lunch this time, Great all around! Love the Tandori chicken wings!

Everything was great but the food was bland. Perhaps the vegetarian dishes aren’t a specialty.

Our service was great but the food was pretty mediocre. I haven’t been in for awhile but it seems to have been continually dropping off.

The chicken in my salad was dry and seemed old.
The onion rings were not and the sandwich was
average at best.

All in all I decided I won’t be headed back anytime soon.
Bummer.

We went here for dinner after a day of business meetings. First time at this restaurant and loved the vibe and ambience. Live music was a nice touch. For appetizers, we ordered the olives, teff chips and mushroom toast. Devoured all of it and by far our favorite was the yummy mushroom toast. I ate all of my seafood curry and my husband enjoyed his salmon. He ordered it medium rare and we think that the food server did not include that in our order because it did not come as ordered. Delicious nonetheless. For dessert we shared the salty chocolate peanut bar which was perfect, except that there were four of us and it came with three pieces. I think our food server could have brought a fourth one. She seemed like she did not want to be there, was not attentive, and didn’t seem to care about taking care of us. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe dealing with people is not for her. Would have given our experience a 5 star but for her blasé attitude and lack of engagement.

Great food, great service and great location. Our group generally goes there for dinner before we head over to the Kirk Douglas Theater. I had the Seafood Curry- YUMMY! Highly recommend it.

Perfection!

The restaurant was a bit expensive for me but the food was pretty good. I'd rather go for drinks here than dine. I wish they had a vegan pasta dish. The olives and pita starters were pretty good. I liked my vege burger too.

Food was good, but we waiting a long time to get our food and the restaurant wasn't half full. Disappointed in the wait time. FYI - This was on Easter with my family.

was very leery about coming to Seder dinner here, but it was terrific! food especially plentiful and delicious. authentic--chopped liver like my mother made. the charossis was different than what I was used to, but totally wonderful! loved the Red Sea cocktail they'd specially prepared for the occasion. Totally loved the Rabbi--was lucky enough to sit at his table with his family.

This was a special dinner - Passover Seder - and it was wonderful! The food and service were exceptional. We had a marvellous evening...and look forward to coming here again next year. Alan and Akasha are great hosts. The rabbi was terrific. It was a very special evening and we fully enjoyed ourselves. Well done!

My friend and I went for the first time by recommendation from my sister in law. We loved it!!! I'm watching my carb intake and she isn't eating meat at the moment. They had great options for both and we loved our food. It was fresh and delicious! The wine was good too! We will definitely be going back!

Street parking at lunch is a challenge, but next store is a parking garage.

I am usually s big fan however this was not a great experience. We had a 2:15 reservation. When we all seated by 2:20 and when the waiter finally came over we were rushed to our an order in as the kitchen was closing. Why offer a reservation at that time if it is going to be a rushed experience. We gave our food order and then she took a drink order which also took a while.

When the food did come it was cold then we were rushed to pay the bill!

Akasha, I expect more.

The flavor of the food is very consistent. I love the braised short ribs and it tastes exactly as it did when I first tried it years ago. We also ordered the Hokkaido scallops, that was perfectly prepared. However, both dishes had very rich sides that accompanied the meal. It was overwhelmingly rich compared to the main entree. The noise level is too much. Perhaps it’s because the tables are a mere 6” (if that) apart. I could barely squeeze between with my coat on. The table on either side of us were extremely loud, we could barely have a conversation. The furniture definitely needs to be updated. The tables are teetering, the chairs are sagging and the booth seats are indented from past patrons. Consistent food flavoring. Server was very helpful and knowledgeable however he would only serve us 1/3 wine glass full of water. We had to keep asking for more water as they didn’t keep a keen eye on that for us.

Festive meal with visitors from another state. David is an exceptional server and helped us enjoy the evening. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everyone was happy.

I love Akasha. The owner, Akasha Richmond, knows what people want to eat. And although the menu doesn't make a big deal of it, there are great dairy-free, gluten-free dishes. Plus, wonderful comfort food (the onion rings are awesome). Whatever you're in the mood for, you'll find something you love. And they know how to cook fish perfectly. We eat here about twice a month, and it's a drive for us! But so worth it. We always feel welcomed by the servers--Davy and Shane!--and the bartenders--Lisa!--are warm and welcoming, too. Love the live music trio (on Monday nights? or is it Wednesdays?). I wish there was an Akasha in the Valley!

Nice ambiance in Culver City. The wine was great a Pinot Noir off the specials menu), but the food was just average. Have to say the carrot dish was incredible but otherwise.... The service was good, but not great. Can’t waiters pick up empty plates from a small overflowing table? I did like the dessert selection but I swear I was given a regular Americano instead of the decaf I ordered. Seems like most people were ordering the wings, mac and cheese and burgers. Can’t say I’m in a rush to go back but I’ll give it a 4-star.

Costly, but good. We were here once before and were dissatisfied with the service but t decided to give it another try. Sitting outside was really nice, not so much noise, and the heaters worked well. Service and food (fish) were good. Getting wine at 1/2 price per bottle Wednesday nites was an unexpected perk. Only drawback was the cost of the meal, a bit high, we thought. Nevertheless, we'd return.

Met some friends for lunch an we had a nice relaxing lunch with very tasty food. Atmosphere was quiet and service was great. My son even ate his chocolate pancakes which is impressive since he is 6 and hardly ate any food on our trip. Would definitely dine again when we come back to the area.

Bro dropped three drinks in my lap of brand new jeans, apart from that it was great food lol

Food was generally good, but nothing to write home about. Service was pleasant and waiter was more than willing to give his opinion on what to order. Prices were reasonable. Nice atmosphere and close to everything including off-street, garage parking.

The food on this occasion did not measure up to prior experiences . It I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. Restaurant has a good vibe; nice selection for lunch.
