The beef short rib was THE best I’ve ever had in my life. The service was excellent and the bar provided top notch cocktails. The seafood curry was very good.
Great food, interesting drinks and lots of gluten free options.
Terrible service. First, the courses were served very, very slowly. Then were rushing us to leave. They even turned off our heater so we would have to finish the meal in the cold. Then they charged us a “kitchen appreciation“ charge. What a joke! Not as we remembered.
We came for dinner before a show at the Forum. It was our first time here and they didn't disappoint. We ordered the Short ribs and the special of the evening which was the white fish. Both meals were excellent! Our server was friendly and very attentive.
We sat in the standard dining area and the noise level was pretty quiet. The decor is reserved, contemporary. We reserved a table for 5:45, and for a Saturday night, the restaurant was not too crowded yet. When we left by 7:00 however, it started to get more crowded so we were glad we had picked an earlier dinner time.
We will definitely go back again!
pleasant environment, service a little spotty. food very good. had avocado toast small plate, very tasty and fresh, generous portion for a small plate. sweet potato fries were average.
Great food, great service, and half price bottled wine on Wednesday was a real bonus! Fantastic local find....
Seafood curry was Amazing!!!! Beet salad good too. Highly recommend!!!
Great service and advice!
We usually have a much better experience at AKASHA but this time it was a but it was a bit of a let down. It could be that it was NYE. The special Roasted Halibut came out very dry and the Flat Iron Steak was very salty. We also thought $25 for corkage was very high. The side dish mushrooms and olive oil cake dessert were very good. Overall it was a less than average experience for this particular visit.
What a fun New Year's Eve! Akasha had a palm reader and lively music and everyone was super energetic and happy. All the familiar faces were there and folks were welcoming and joyous with hugs all around. We loved our time there and wish we could have stayed longer.
With Lisa and Felix on the bar, everything is OUTSTANDING!!! For New Year's Eve they really went all out. Happy New Year!
Holiday get together with special friends.
Food was very good. Server never returned after food was served until the end of the meal. He was very pleasant.
Went for Chanukah dinner and it was fabulous!! Brisket was superb and so were the latkes!!! Perfection.
We had dinner at Akasha on Christmas Eve and it was a little more crowded than usual...so the service was a little slower. We were not in a rush so we were happy to relax and take the extra time. Quality of food prep and innovative, unique menu items are what we love about Akasha and it did not disappoint!
Confusing entry to the restaurant -- what's with the front bar, etc.?
Lovely and delicious!
Gigi is awesome. Love music was great. The basil in the stir fry - next level
Expensive and unsure if I would return.
Would appreciate more vegetarian options.
Indian puri dish was delicious, but the pea protein burger and the hummus items could be packed with more flavor and portion for the price.
It was great
Always a treat!! I enjoy taking clients to lunch and dinner at Akasha! The food, service and atmosphere is always delightful
Lettuce Wraps should come on butter lettuce but comes out on regular lettuce which was weird. The French fries were good. Had the taco salad. Super Simple but not a lot of flavor. Barely no feta cheese in the salad. Great at picking up your food when your done.
Service is consistently exceptional
Perfect date spot. Super healthy choices and fabulous wine and cocktails. Two thumbs up!!
Food is delicious. Service is friendly and helpful, but slow. Ambience is warm and welcoming.
Great ambience for a small party, ample space yet warm and cozy. Service is excellent. Price is reasonable. The food can be better, I had the curry fish, it was bland and quite coconut-ty!
We had a great American American waiter who was on point. He answered all our questions and have us unbelievable service. Thanks again I forgot his name.
Long time diner of Akasha! Had the breakfast burrito, bottomless Bloody Mary, and fresh coffee. Service was excellent, coffee was always filled up - and even was offered coffee to go! Had a wonderful time, today was especially great to top off the weekend/holiday festivities ♥️
Loved the Beyond Meat burger! Hope they keep that on the menu long term.
It was my first time to Akasha--a great location in Culver City with parking in the big lot next door. It's a beautiful place with great food.
Food was terrible!
$90. For my plate with 3 scallops! 3! And plate full of stuffing. That is my plate!
My husband had Turkey that worth $20.
Cold bread, food was terrible. I would compare them with Marie Calendar' food.
This is the worst Thanksgivings dinner we ever had!.
I came home sick with their food! That was the worst part!!!!Will never go back again.! And recommend no one!
Amazing food. Service was slow but I blame the Thanksgiving holiday. Staff was friendly.
Thanksgiving dinner is very good . Especially the pie buffet. Not much assistance with wine selection from busy staff. Be careful to note that service is included.
Great Thanksgiving dinner experience!
Had thanksgiving here. Far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.
Went for the Thanksgiving Day menu. It was fantastic and we would gladly down there again next Thanksgiving or go back for a week day meal.
Interesting, inspired food with very attentive service. The vegetable choices and preparation were particularly creative. The bar service was a bit slow, but it was Thanksgiving and the restaurant was quite crowded. The pie buffet, though, was amazing!
$90 per person is too steep for a set plate and dessert buffet.
Everything was great and they had a nice band playing on Monday night
