Need to book at 1:00 PM?Other great restaurants with availability.
Nice vibe, good food, good service. Will definitely visit again.
Food is great! Lots of options for healthy and vegan.
We were seated promptly and service was above par. Food was very good and delivered not long after we ordered. Perfect place for a Sunday brunch get together!
The food and the manager is we’re absolutely fantastic. The steak was perfectly cooked and so delicious. Cocktails were amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
Had a very lovely time for Valentine’s Day! Food and service were great!
The service was friendly and the dishes were tasty.
Love it! Great place for vegetarians and foodies to dine together in peace.
Normally I love Akasha but the turkey burger was so boring. We were the only ones on the patio and were frequently overlooked for service. 1/2 off bottles of wine on Wednesday is great!
Very accommodating staff. I dropped my avocado toast while transfering it to another plate. The waitress replaced it without additional costs. Food was absolutely fabulous.
Great ambiance and service. Heard good things about the food from my clients -- I personally didn't like what I ordered for lunch as it was bland (Red Quinoa Pilaf w/ Lemon Grilled Chicken).
By far the best burgers in LA! Great ambience--a bit noisy but comfortable. It's our neighborhood place to eat. Great wine list, too! The service is always fabulous, too.
I have previously had good experiences at Akasha. However this time when we showed up for our 2 p.m. reservation there was a sign on the door saying closing at 2:30 for the Super Bowl. This was not mentioned on the website nor when I made the reservation that morning. The hostess told us that just the kitchen would be closing but we would be free to hang out. Once seated, we were not served. I had to chase down the waitress twice, once to give our orders, the second time to get sugar and a spoon for my coffee. Then at 3 we were told we had to leave, in direct contradiction of what we were told when we arrived. We would have gone somewhere else to begin with if we had known we were going to be chased out. I was with friends visiting from New York; this was not a good impression to make. Akasha is off my list of places to eat in Culver City!
Akasha is my favorite Culver City restaurant. I recommend it to people all the time.
Love Akasha. Always consistently good. Will return
Fantastic, stylish & buzzing place for dinner. Excellent service & really interesting & delicious food.
Lovely restaurant with great food. Very enjoyable experience. Two thumbs up!
Their food is fabulous. A great place for a vegetarian like me!
The cocktails were excellent but the food was just mediocre. We ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich, Bali Curry, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Hamachi and Bread Pudding. Out of the 5 plates, only the Brussel Sprouts and Bali Curry were good, the rest was just ok. Loved the decor and ambiance of the place but not going back because the food was disappointing.
Fantastic thru and thru! The best neighborhood restaurant! Food is always delicious and the service and atmosphere inviting!
Food was great, service terrific and I ate so much I almost burst. What more could one ask?
Great food. Vegan options not to mention delicious vegan dessert. We would definitely go back. Great ambiance
I hadn't been to Akasha for at least a year or two and it didn't disappoint. The menu was updated and the live jazz was a great surprise.
Food is always great. Service just fine. Easy parking. One of our favorite restaurants.
Outstanding service and dinner was delicious. The restaurant was packed but staff were warm and exceptional and we could hear each other. Lovely experience.
Dine LA meals were great! Three of the four of us ordered from that menu. Salads were great, Brussels were delish, lamb was super soft, lasagna amazing and curry dishes were thoroughly enjoyed. All desserts were a hit. We loved the whole meal.
Could use to expand the menu
The experience was worth my time.
It seemed quite busy on "Wine Wednesday" (½ off bottles of wine).
Walked in at 7:15pm, but we were told they weren't accepting walk-ins in the main dining room, but could wait for a seat at the bar.
There wasn't anything available, so after a little walkthrough and stop at the bathroom, I decided to check Open Table.
At 7:21 I booked a 2-top for 7:30pm.
Went back to the host at 7:22pm, who didn't seem to recognize us, and she found our reservation.
We were seated promptly at 7:31pm.
It was hilarious.
But, the food and the ambiance of this place were outstanding.
It's been 12 years since I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, yet this is the first place I have ever been able to order a gluten-free fried chicken sandwich, and I will keep coming back for it.
They have a gluten-free frier, so the french fries are safe too!
Got a bottle of the Cedar & Salmon pinot noir and it was delicious. Please keep this on the menu!
Had the flourless chocolate cake for dessert, which was quite yummy.
Our server Trevor was great. Attentive without being intrusive.
We will be back.
The beef short rib was THE best I’ve ever had in my life. The service was excellent and the bar provided top notch cocktails. The seafood curry was very good.
Great food, interesting drinks and lots of gluten free options.
Terrible service. First, the courses were served very, very slowly. Then were rushing us to leave. They even turned off our heater so we would have to finish the meal in the cold. Then they charged us a “kitchen appreciation“ charge. What a joke! Not as we remembered.
Overall, the food was very good and the setting delightful. Unfortunately, kitchen neglected to deliver part of our order and waiter was gone a long long time. As such, we were not able to rectify mistake AND was no longer interested in ordering a second drink. Maybe just an off night...? The food and drink that did arrive was great.
We came for dinner before a show at the Forum. It was our first time here and they didn't disappoint. We ordered the Short ribs and the special of the evening which was the white fish. Both meals were excellent! Our server was friendly and very attentive.
We sat in the standard dining area and the noise level was pretty quiet. The decor is reserved, contemporary. We reserved a table for 5:45, and for a Saturday night, the restaurant was not too crowded yet. When we left by 7:00 however, it started to get more crowded so we were glad we had picked an earlier dinner time.
We will definitely go back again!
pleasant environment, service a little spotty. food very good. had avocado toast small plate, very tasty and fresh, generous portion for a small plate. sweet potato fries were average.
Great food, great service, and half price bottled wine on Wednesday was a real bonus! Fantastic local find....
Seafood curry was Amazing!!!! Beet salad good too. Highly recommend!!!
Great service and advice!
We usually have a much better experience at AKASHA but this time it was a but it was a bit of a let down. It could be that it was NYE. The special Roasted Halibut came out very dry and the Flat Iron Steak was very salty. We also thought $25 for corkage was very high. The side dish mushrooms and olive oil cake dessert were very good. Overall it was a less than average experience for this particular visit.
