   Loved the food and restaurant. Great place to bring company from out of town. Beef empanadas amazing, had a beef and calamari dishes as entree.

   We had never had Peruvian food before and after a performance at Filoli, we were looking for a place that would be open until 9:00 so we could have a late dinner. I had heard that this restaurant was good and I saw that it was on our way home and open until 9:00, so we stopped. They had a very nice menu with lots of shellfish dishes, which we both like. My dinner was a variety of shellfish over rice that was similar to paella and nicely spicy. The waiter was just attentive enough without being intrusive and it was nice to have the restaurant almost to ourselves.

   Aji Rio does NOT honor/recognize open table reservations. My Open Table reservation at 7pm last Saturday was not recognized by the Aji Limo hostess who told me they don't "use" Open table any more. Fortunately they were able to seat my wife and I and while we dined near the hostess, we saw a party of 10 with an open table reservation turned away... Other than that, the restaurant is great...

   :( We got to the restaurant at 7:07, we sat down, waited and waited, had to ask for the menu. We ordered our food at 7:20.
