AIX & Tin Tin
Perfect place for lunch. Great service and food.
Such a cool place ...nice to get out of the ‘burbs and have a fun evening with friends..great wine selection...and delicious light French ( people think French food is heavy...ever seen a fat person in France? ) Loved the clam appetizer...the sauce was spectacular...of course the fish selection was also delicious. Nice to drink Badoit sparking water..the basic bottled water brand in France. We lived in France for several years and have eaten some great meals in AIX...Atlanta’s AIX is sure a lot closer!
Our dinner here was excellent! Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff was very professional and courteous.
The food and wine selections are excellent!
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite Atlanta restaurants. Unlike most other ATL restaurants, the service here is incredible and the staff is very kind. The food is delicious. We sat on the patio which alternated between really loud and pretty chill.
We come often for the delicious food, awesome wine list and amazing service!
Lovely environment. Good service. Great oysters. The french press coffee was a wonderful way to finish the meal.
Great food, excellent service! The oysters were outstanding
The food was bland. Service was friendly and attentive. It didn't have the charming feeling of a French restaurant as I had imagined. More like a hotel lobby restaurant.
Great addition to the lunch scene in West Midtown. Flavorful food, great service and a wonderful wine list in a welcoming, pretty space.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here the other night and was very pleasantly surprised. Staff was amazing and attentive. Everything we had was delicious and the space was delightful (we even had it to ourselves for the first 45 minutes). Thanks so much for making this a special evening!
Service was terrific but unfortunately, the food was not. Have dined their twice previously, great the first time, so-so the second. This time, the shrimp dish was under cooked, the clams with linguine were full of sand--very gritty, the duck crepes were too salty and swimming in sauce. They did provide a replacement for the duck crepes, a nice soup, but overall the food is just not dependable. It's a shame, the interiors are beautiful and the service is attentive. I hope they get their act together.
Get the goat cheese fritters appetizer!
This restaurant was amazing! Great atmosphere and the food was so yummy. The staff was very attentive and friendly
I had a very nice dinner at Aix. The restaurant was not very crowded, so my noise level judgement is not completely reliable. The dining area (inside) is a lovely space, with well spaced tables and nice ambiance. There is also and outside dining area if the weather is nice. Valet parking is available, but a little hard to see, on the side of the restaurant. I can't really fault any of our food choices, the crab salad and oysters, the tuna and Arctic Char, and the deconstructed Ferraro Rocher for desert. Overall, a restaurant worth visiting, and I will be back.
A very enjoyable time!
Excellent service and cuisine. Refined but casual. Came here for a special occasion and they did not disappoint. Comfortable and modern decor. Highly recommended.
Family get together ( 9 ) after wedding shower.
Very good dinner! Loved atmosphere and menu. Delicious bread and butter, great wine. Main course (chicken paillard) was very garlicky and a little too “fried” tasting. Husband had steak and frites and loved it. Will definitely go again.
Somewhat disappointing. First, it’s one of those places with little lighting and the menu is in tiny, not very dark font so you need to use your phone to see it. The two best dishes of the evening were the cheese puffs - excellent- and the shrimp appetizer. The foie was OK, not a lot of flavor, though the fig spread around it was quite tasty. My ratatouille flat bread was barely warm and the crust wasn’t crisp. My friend’s bouillabaisse was also on the cool side and the snapper In it was over cooked.
Awesome! Magnificent and delicious food with wonderful wines to pair!
Lovely wine list.
Special touches like purse stools.
Looking for a vegetable plate, the chef made a fantastic dish on the spot.
Exceptionally attentive wait staff and host, outstanding food (scallops and snapper) and a fun ice cream dessert.
Excellent service and food was great! Will definitely be back
Great great restaurant. Max the Sous Chef and Katie at the bar were wonderful.
I do think this restaurant would benefit from a little deeper wine program. They ran out of Bordeaux offered by the glass and my second glass was a not-so-bad Rhône GSM but would have loved more choices - food and ambiance and service was first rate though!
Our second visit to Aix was just as good as our first! Excellent food and service - very pleasing decor.
We should have been offered the gluten free options and dishes with a gluten free flavor.
Highly disappointed that the Birthday dessert was not brought to the table.
This has become my go to place to suggest when friends have high standards for their culinary taste. Love it!
The food and service are out of this world. The restaurant is beautiful!
Food was absolutely delicious; the staff doesn’t outstanding job
OUTSTANDING in every way! A must when you visit Atlanta.
Best bread presentation
Scallops, hamburger, oysters, peas, almond cake desert all were presented beautifully and delicious.
The restaurant has a cool vibe...easy to get to with free valet parking (no b.s. service charge and a tip in other restaurants ).
Neighborhood makes you feel the new Atlanta and not sitting in a strip center in Sandy Springs.
Enjoyed a lovely mid-week dinner following drinks at Tin Tin. The service was impeccable and the French cuisine and wine were delicious.
Didn’t know about the Sunday set dinner but was not disappointed. Everything was amazing.
Great anniversary celebration for the parents of our perfect grandsons.
AIX was wonderful. I was with a group of friends. We all ordered different menu items and all of them were delicious. The service was attentive and helpful.
I love this restaurant and have had great meals there before. On this occasion the food was so salty that is was almost inedible. They have a great Duck fat infused Old Fashioned but this time the bartender added a spice that changed the flavor. I am not certain I will go back.
I've been to Tin Tin and wanted to try Aix for the bouillabaisse. Was doing some shopping in the area and we ended up at Aix early. Meredith was lovely and seated us right away and our server Lisa was super. The ambiance is great. Drinks and wine--very nice. The charcuterie was a nice start. I have to say that I've been to many French bistros all over Paris and France and have been trying to get that authentic Parisian feel somewhere in the ATL without much success. I was really hoping for a legit bistro version of a well seasoned fish stew bursting with fennel and saffron, chunks of moist fish, tender mussels and clams in the shells and big juicy shrimp. The soup temperature was not hot--it was more tepid than I was expecting. The fish was snapper and it was a little overcooked. While I appreciated not having to dig the clams and mussels out of the shells, without the shells you don't get the liquor from the seafood which helps to enrich the broth. I also appreciate the whole shrimp in the classic. Again, the shells and heads add depth of flavor. These shrimp were cleaned and deveined so you didn't get that added flavor from the shells and heads. The toast had what looked like an aloi rather than the red pepper rouille I'm accustomed to. My friend's Coquille St. Jaques again was a reconceptulized version using béchamel but with no evidence of Gruyere found in the traditional version. I prefer the scallops to arrive in a gratin dish under a layer of bubbling hot sauce with just a dash of nutmeg and parsley on top. So, if you are looking for reimagined versions of bistro classics, this is your place. If you are on the hunt for something that tastes like it comes from the Marais, Rue Madelaine or the Quatier Latin, then book your flights.
Lovely ambiance and decor with dining area options. Staff attentive, friendly and informative. While not the full menu, Sunday night dining is a special treat with excellent choices of 3 courses for a very affordable price. Wine selection with ample choices. Bourbon choices slightly limited but reasonable selection. We missed Chef Leahy but anyone deserves a night off. We consider this to be a regular place to dine.
Excellent food and service; very attractive restaurant in a great location.
