Our waiter was terrible. We had cocktails and then ordered wine with dinner and were done with our meal by the time the wine came. He did bring us two empty wine glasses with the meal though! The meal was mediocre. The sunchokes in the roasted winter vegetables were completely raw and the steak was cooked medium but had no sear on the outside.
I LOVE this place. Food is exceptional, decor is exquisite, service and atmosphere are top notch. Went to celebrate my birthday tonight and couldn't have been happier. Thank you for another wonderful experience!

Excellent food and service. Had Escargot (amazing!) and the Tuna (good, but not great). The cocktails were light and flavorful.
This was our first visit but will not be our last. Our server (Craig) was excellent. My husband and I started off with excellent cocktails. We next shared several small plates (bread service, tuna crudo, goat cheese fritters with honey and pistachios, burgundy escargot, and foie gras). Then we shared the braised Berkshire pork shoulder and finally dessert (Earl Grey posset) with a dessert to go (cheesecake). Service and timing of all the courses were perfect.
Very good service, the entree took longer than expected and we got a free desert for the table.
It was a great choice for our Valentine’s dinner! Food was like a colisión of succulent flavors. We were very impressed.
Cocktails were lovely. Appetizers were ok - steak tartare should not be brown, cheese puffs were ok, crab beignets were a bit mushy inside. The bouillabaisse was great - small portion. Blood
Orange cheesecake was good. Excellent atmosphere, light and bright. Nice place for a date.

One of the best meals we have had & rivals many places in Buckhead. We had the mussels which are the best in town and the chicken paillard. Service & cocktails were also excellent.

Chef Nick Leahy has a winner. A really great menu featuring untraditional french fare. Think Provence...rustic, fresh, the right amount of richness...all so good.

The service and atmosphere was nice
The starter platters were good (veggie). I ordered the scallops. It wasn't what I expected. The bechamal sauce, well, there was way too much of that sauce, and it was difficult to find the 3 scallops underneath. It was ok, but far from good or even good value. I had entree envy! My friends ordered a hamburger and another the chicken (one had salmon flatbread)and all were good.
Great restaurant! Will definitely visit again.
We were warmly greeted and seated by the host and was told of the Monday special of all you can eat mussels. We were quickly served the additional salads that we ordered and enjoyed the duck confit and the beets salads. We had the choice of 4-5 seasonings for our individual buckets of mussels. I had a garlic and my husband had tried the Cajun, both were excellent and plentiful. I enjoyed the seasoned fries so much that I did not ask for my customary ketchup. My husband had two more buckets of the mussels though I have no idea how he managed to eat so many. When I had my fill of the garlic ones, there was 10 left in the bottom of the bucket and he devoured them also. Believe me, they were a great size and ample portions. We will definitely go back and try more of the menu options.

Food Order and Delivery Was A Long Drawn Out Process and The Food Arrived 'Tepid' and Overdone.
Food Prices Were High and Quality Of The Food Was Poor.
Our Server Never Asked Us If We Wanted An After Dinner Drink or If We Wanted Dessert!

Was amazing. Went there to celebrate my birthday and service was great and I felt special.
There was an event celebrating the one year anniversary of the restaurant opening the night we went and the place had a bustling,festive atmosphere. Despite the fact that it was crowded the service and the food were both great. We also talked with the charming owner/chef. We wish him well— keep up the imaginative, delicious cooking Nick— we will be back!

I've been a loyal fan of Nick Leahy since he was the chef/owner of Saltyard, so I followed him to Aix en Provence, where he's enlarged his territory in the most tasty manner, with a bit of family history behind the dishes. I've brought several persons with me to dinner and was MOST pleased on New Year's Eve, as I think my guests were. (I spent 25+ years with a fellow who always wanted to go to the best restaurant in whatever town he was in and it infected my judgment.) Aix is now my #1 restaurant in Atlanta and I hope to come back often. Keep experimenting, Nick -- the results are terrific!
We were there 30 minutes before we got bread. And the rest of the meal was like that. Waited 25 minutes between appetizer and entree. A large table next to us got their (complementary) wine, appetizers, and entrees in the time it took us to get our entree. And they arrived after us.
Don’t know what the hold up was- we didn’t even order drinks first.
Very much enjoyed the prix fixe menu on Sunday. Service and food were both great.
Several of our friends recommended AIX so we tried it. It is a drive from our home, but we were optimistic. Too optimistic. Nothing about the food was remarkable, nothing that would match or exceed the quality of the same dishes at restaurants near us. For example, the mussels at Bistro Niko run circles around those that we were served. The chicken paillard was almost inedible and in no way pounded thin. The couple with whom we went were big fans - until this dinner. They weakly concluded that the restaurant must have a new chef. We will not be returning.

Such a cool place ...nice to get out of the ‘burbs and have a fun evening with friends..great wine selection...and delicious light French ( people think French food is heavy...ever seen a fat person in France? ) Loved the clam appetizer...the sauce was spectacular...of course the fish selection was also delicious. Nice to drink Badoit sparking water..the basic bottled water brand in France. We lived in France for several years and have eaten some great meals in AIX...Atlanta’s AIX is sure a lot closer!

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite Atlanta restaurants. Unlike most other ATL restaurants, the service here is incredible and the staff is very kind. The food is delicious. We sat on the patio which alternated between really loud and pretty chill.
