It was delicious! We had great service. My only complaint is that it is over priced.
Outstanding food in a really nice setting. It is very loud inside but it was still nice. My only complaint was that the waitress was really busy and didn't allow us to order appetizers or barely get a drink. It was hey what do you want and here's the check.

Food was great. Really loud, could barely hear anyone in our party. I forgot how bad it was as I had been there before and the same. I think server was overwhelmed. Had to request water refill from others. My friend ordered and then I did, friend ask to switch fries to onion rings and was told that her order was already submitted and could not change. She was still working on my order and had not left the table, went back and forth multiple times that should be able to make the switch.
For the most part, the food was pretty good. I think the Macoroni Fries would have been excellent if they had a tad bit more seasoning for flavor.
Taco week in Kansas City, and I ate their chicken tacos. They were delicious, and so was the guacamole I ordered. My server checked on me the right amount of times, and the manager stop buying it be sure all was OK.
The food was awesome! We went for brunch and had hoped there was more of a variety of breakfast drinks/cocktails. Unfortunately, even though we all loved our food, we won’t consider going back. The service was truly terrible. Our waitress was almost non-existent. When we flagged another waitress down to help, she ended up getting our original waitress because she “forgot” what we had ordered from her. The manager (or what appeared to be) was walking around to check on tables but had his hand down the back of his pants - very odd and not pleasant to witness when he’s carrying food. Also, 2 of us got coffee and they “ran out of mugs” so they were serving coffee in paper to-go cups - not ideal for a $30 brunch.
Sooooooo loud. Every time I go there I end up yelling the whole time. Everything else is great. Please just turn the volume down a couple db
A group of us attended for the first time. The food was absolutely mouth watering. It was exactly how each of us ordered it at the right temperature, enough to take home and when asking for something the staff coukdn’t have been nicer. A rating of 10+.
Server was friendly; just a bit slow at times. Took a while to come take our order after we ordered an appetizer.
Blair, manager & bartender were awesome. Had the gold wings, short ribs, salmon & oysters. All were good. Drinks were great as well. Thanks guys & see ya soon!

The tables are jammed together and the music is so loud you cannot hear yourself think, let alone carry on a conversation. The food was excellent. Service was okay, but it is a “get you in, get you out quick” kind of place.” We will pass this one for dinner, but we have had an excellent lunch experience there.
We were in from out of town visiting family. I took my boyfriend for his birthday before our flight and it was delicious!
Bit of a long wait (25 min) even though we had reservations. They were very busy and our reservation was for 6 people. Service was not very attentive for re-fills had to ask for silverware/napkins. Food was excellent and hot; the Brussels Sprouts are outstanding! Portions are generous.
No oysters no scotch so I ordered a well bourbon neat and the charged me $7 when a single pour is $3. The waiter told me if you order it meat it’s a double pour. 3 plus 3 equals 6. Wow I’m confused.

Sever was terrible but otherwise great place.
Drinks took forever to get and it was slow. We both got burgers and they lacked seasoning and much taste. Overall it was disappointing.
Unfortunately, we were not greeted by our server very well. She was slow to greet, unfriendly, and as soon as she turned to leave from our table she loudly complained to another co-worker. We decided to leave and ended up having a great experience at Red Door...as usual!
There aren't very many entrees available for vegetarians and the service was SO SLOW. We had six people in our table, so expected it to be a little slower, but it took an hour and a half for lunch to get our food and it wasn't even that great. Staff was unenthusiastic and not very helpful.
The kid Mac and cheese was fantastic, my son loved it and he is a picky eater.
The food we had was fine but we ended up just having an appetizer. Tried to order oysters and filets but both were sold out. Nobody’s fault because of blizzard I guess.
Also is a minor point but place was only about 20% full and hostess still seated us right near front door and cold drafts.
Burgers were very good ... wings were just ok! Cool atmosphere and location.
Server had a bit of an attitude ... and another staff member was inattentive when asked to find our server for our check.
When we walked into the restaurant the hostess was unavailable. We had no problem with that rather multiple employees that passed in front of our party without addressing us. They never looked at us or greeted us. Simply acknowledging us and informing us the hostess would be with us in a moment would have gone a long way. The food was good and waitress very attentive however we ordered two appetizers for five people and asked for small plates. Shortly thereafter the server came out with our entrees and one large plate. The timing was off and overall operations suboptimal.
Organization was lacking. Checked in at 6:30 for a 7:00 reservation party of 6, went to bar. Took bar tender forever to acknowledge us. Had no idea there was a happy hour until 7:00. Looked at a table for 6 that was open the whole time but was never asked to be seated. If I wouldn’t have gone back to ask for our table I feel like they would have forgotten us. Atmosphere was great. Lots of TVs. Food was great. Our server was great. We had a good time.
This restaurant gat great reviews on yelp. Not sure why? The food was absolutely atrocious. We had a petty of 10 and only 1 person thought the food was good. Way over priced. Never again!
Extremely loud and impossible to have a conversation. I asked waitress if the music could be turned down and she said that whenever she has asked before (apparently she has been asked this several times) the manager has said no.

They were out of entree we wanted to order and no soup option at lunch. Had to ask a couple times for drinks and ice.
My family gathers for a special Christmas time meal and we pick new places to try. This time it was the Ainsworth but this is a case of not judging a restaurant by its website.
We should have known it wasn’t going to be a stellar experience when the first words out of our server’s mouth were apologies for the lack of items being available due to a delivery mishap. This would have been a great chance to offer a complimentary appetizer, drink or coupon good for a future business, something to entice us back but we got nothing. I heard the server give the same pitch to an adjacent table so it was clear he was following instructions. This limited a narrow menu even more. He also warned us the noise level would increase once the football game started which was ok with us.
The food was served promptly and was fine, nothing special but everyone was satisfied from that perspective.
The restroom was the pits— the soap dispenser torn from the wall; trash can full of paper towels and they weren’t that busy! A door leading out, perhaps to a smoking area or patio, was covered in fingerprints, obviously not part of the cleaning routine.
One bottle of wine, one steak, one hamburger and a tea and our bill for two people was $81 before the tip. I think that was more than double what it should have been for the experience and the atmosphere. I was very disappointed and don’t intend to go back.
Have been here before and had a good experience. This time, not so much. I had a huge hair in my burger. Then a large party came so they made us move tables to make room. Then I went to the bathroom and there was no toilet paper. The manager covered my meal and offered me a drink. Not a good experience for my friend as it was her first time there.

Took over an hour and fifteen minutes to get our order. There were eight of us. The order: 6 burgers, 1 chicken and a salad.
The manager claimed the delay was because of the other large tables. I looked...there were 2 active larger tables who had about 8 as well.
Funny thing is...the restaurant was still only half full, if that. It was not busy whatsoever.
When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm and one order was even incorrect.
We felt bad for the waitress but she could have tried to push a little harder to help us out. Manager was clueless. They did knock off 50% of the bill, which was fine, but it’s close to two hours that we won’t get back.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened either. Never this bad though.
Love the menu and concept, but it’s officially off of our list.
We all work at a company 1 mile from this venue with 150 others and we made sure to let everyone know to not eat at The Ainsworth.
First time, very good experience! The servers were knowledgeable and attentive.
My fries were cold, burger was fine but for the price wasn’t anything special.
