Food was good. Seemed a bit loud for a Sunday evening. Hard to hear our conversation across the table with club like music.
They closed at 10pm even when I had a reservation from Open table which stated that they are open till 1am. No mentions for holiday timing etc.
PS I flew from VA to NJ on Memorial day Long weekend 2019 to meet my friends and this happens, this was just not acceptable. I had to scramble to find new restaurant.
Best Mac and cheese burger
If recommend ainsworth 100x over if you’re going to the NYC locations. Service in Hoboken is horrible and I’ve had multiple bad experiences
Food was great along with atmosphere. It was busy so service was a little slow.
The best part about the place was the bottle of champagne you get with the Brunch offer. The waitress was very polite and attentive. We were running 20 min late due to some arts festival going on in town but was unable to reach the restaurant after 3 attempts to call. They were accommodating upon our arrival and had our table which was nice. The food is where it all went wrong. It took an hour and a half to come out and when it did it was flat out cold. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict but they had been sitting so long that they continued to cook on the plate to being medium boiled. They also did not toast the English muffin, like at all. I forced myself to eat half of one because i was so hungry but couldn't bring myself to finish even one of the two. Thank goodness for the cold roasted potatoes...
Fun atmosphere. Parking is an issue; adds $25 to your bill which makes the evening much more expensive.
It was a sweet service, the food was delicious. The drinks were fun. The only thing that could be better was the time they brought the food in. It could have been faster. It’s a good place for casual dinners.
Went for brunch, however our waitress told us they were out of champagne bottles and therefore could not order the brunch package. But, we still could order individual mimosas or bellini’s though. Hmm.. They were out of two food items (skillets) on the brunch menu which was unfortunate as well. As we sat at our table eating our food just a few tables over we were disappointed to see people ordered the skillet items that my table was told was unavailable. Coffee wasn’t served hot. Apparently deli ham is the same thing as Taylor Ham or Pork Roll in their kitchen. It’s not btw. Finally, as we got up to leave after finishing our brunch, we saw a waitress bringing a table a bottle of champagne which as stated earlier, was unavailable to my table. Overall, poor experience and will very likely not go back.
Nice restaurant. Very popular. Glad I got there early. Megan, our server, was wonderful! My friends enjoyed the place.
The wait time after taking the order was way too long , and the attitude of the hostess was they could not care
Great food but terrible service! The restaurant wasn’t that busy but we waited over 30 minutes for our waitress to come to our table and ask for our drinks and an hour for our food to arrive. Didn’t even check up on us only to bring the check.
Given we were there on a busy Saturday night it took 15 mins for the waitress to even come over to the table and take our drink order. It took about 25 mins after that to get our first drink. Her response was “sorry it’s busy” You also couldn’t hear anything because they had the music blasting. Although the food was good I wouldn’t recommend it due to the service and ambiance. I was disappointed.
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. We waited over 2 hours to get our meal. Manager raised his voice at us when we asked to be comped. I’ll never be back.
Decent place, but a little lacking on customization and feeling that it more than taking frozen gluten free and making it personal. small touches matter.
Food was good. Service was attentive. The ambience was unpleasant - the house music was turned up so loud that the servers had to get uncomfortably close to patrons just to hear orders.
The food was not bad, it was the hostess and waitress that seem like they didn’t wanna be there. Definitely wouldn’t go to that location again
interesting place, better food than was expecting. Looks like they listen to reviews. Good burger and nice service.
Hi, Thanks so much for taking the time to rate your experience. We truly do value every review and try our best to listen to our customers. We hope to see you soon! -The Ainsworth Team
Waitress was great and lived the Bellini, man and cheese fries and avacado toast.
Brunch food was good but came out like warm. Would have been better if it was hot
Taylor ham looked like lunch meat - instead of a circular piece on the Benedict’s
The service was fantastic and the ambiance was pretty cool but the food, in my opinion, was overpriced and was not overly impressive.
Food, service ambiance was great, but music was so loud it was impossible to hold a conversation. Appropriate for a club, not dinner time at a restaurant.
Wonderful place to go for dinner and drinks with friends!
Hi Casey, Thanks so much for taking the time to rate your experience with us. We are so happy to have a customer like you and we hope to see you again soon especially as the weather gets warmer and outdoor seating brings even greater vibes! -The Ainsworth Team
Brunch was solid, not spectacular.
Took my girlfriend here for our Valentine’s Day celebration. Food is amazing. Highly recommend their Mac N Cheese Fries and their Apple Poppy Salad.

I didn’t expect it to be as loud/noisy as it was, but the food was very good
Lunch was good, cocktails delicious!
The noise level was extremely loud, we couldn’t even hear each other speak sitting right next to each other. Our server couldn’t even hear us. The food was just average for the high price. There were things on the menu that weren’t available and the waitress didn’t tell us until after the food came out and we questioned her.
This was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. First, our waitress didn't come over to our table for some time. Then we go to order a simple Tito's and club - turns out they had no Tito's left but offered us HOUSE vodka instead. Clearly, we ordered Tito's in the first place because we wanted a better vodka. Also, you're a bar in Hoboken, how do you not have Tito's? Go to the liquor store and by a bottle. Then, we tried to order the 50 gold wings and the bottle of champagne - priced at $1,000. YUP, ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS - they didn't have that either. They didn't have the wings or the champagne. How could you not carry the most expensive thing on your menu? We ordered the chips and guac instead and our chips were rubbery and so stale, so we asked for new chips. Again, stale. Whatever, we got over it. Then all of a sudden our waitress disappeared and didn't come back. Finally, a new waitress came and asked if we needed anything? UM yeah, we needed to order. We ordered our meals - my boyfriend and friend got the short rib tacos that was paired with mashed potatoes. Our food comes out, their mashed potatoes were MIA. When we asked the waitress for them she came back minutes later saying the kitchen ran out. SHOCKER. My friend even asked the waitress if the restaurant was closing because service was that bad and they had nothing we asked for. Aren't you supposed to tell your table what you're out of before the order. Or if they order something you didn't have, let them know? Safe to say this was the worst dinner and we will definitely not be coming back here. Very disappointed especially with the price we paid.
Fantasy football annual get together. Excellent food and service. Perfect place for a large group. Would recommend and do it again.
Food and service was good. Only food complaint I have is the tuna tutaki had entirely too much sesame oil it was overpowering and tasted like a bowl of oil with tuna in it. Highly recommend the mac and cheese burger if you’re hungry enough for it.
Environment is weird - really dont know what they’re going for as a bar with a large dining area. There were a handful of people at the bar, a private party with 20ish people in a separate room, and a dozen sat tables at 7pm and they were bumping music to the point I was yelling at my date. Really think they should turn the tunes down until after typical dinner hour or wire the system away from the dining area it might help get more people there for dinner.
It was great! My husband and I had a great time and can’t wait to go back!
Came in town from Charleston SC! Staying a couple blocks away and this was just what we needed after a long day traveling
Went with my dad and sister at 6pm on a Tuesday. Music was blasting and the food was ok
$74 for 3 cocktails and 2 salads. What the hell
The music in this place was so loud we could rarely even think let alone speak to each other.
Staff were friendly, but the food is very average and the hip-hop didn’t reflect the restaurant style and was way too loud. The staff acknowledged our request to turn it down, but it was turned back up even louder after 30 seconds! There are far better places in Hoboken.
Great place! We just wish that the menu was larger
Not the best experience and usually like this place. Service was not good had to ask a few times for a drink, they couldn't figure out how to not charge for side salad that was supposed to be included and then never actually brought it and charged anyway. didn't check on table much. it was very loud which was expected for a football sunday. caters to the brunch and football crowd, would not recommend trying to go to talk to the people you are with
Mediocre dining experience.
Atmosphere had a good vibe. Waitress kept asking us if we were finished. I guess bc it was almost time for kitchen to close. Saw two mice in dining area and told waitress but she didn’t seem to be phased.
