Great music! Low light, and date-like vibes. Great place for a little tête-à-tête, but the sports bar setup of the screens does detract from the experience a bit.
Good food, music and service, only downfall the drinks are pricey for the little glasses they put it in
Service was amazing decor was amazing food was amazing! Great to go on a first day or out with friends. I didn’t see families with babies inside which was a good thing. Music was at the right level so you can still have conversation.
Music was incredibly loud indoors for a Sunday brunch, being hard of hearing it made it near impossible to have a conversation with the people sitting across from me.
Apart from the music, food and staff were great.
Very very expensive. I got a Malibu bay breeze and it didn’t really have any alcohol was so small and was $16
Would probably be great for lunch or dinner but I would never go back for brunch....overly salty food, no hot tea, lousy coffee.
Dj was amazing, atmosphere was so chill
Love the Ainsworth! Love the location and food is great!
Really good food, anthony great customer service
The food was ok, the service was terrible. The waiter took our order and then disappeared, didn’t see him again till we were done. We even had to ask someone else to take the plates from the table and to give us the check.
Excellent will be coming back
very good food, long wait and at the end we didn’t know where our waitress went. we had to ask for different people to help us.
We were seated in the main dining area, not the outdoor area. It is basically a sports bar, with multiple TV screens. No natural lighting and pretty loud with piped in music. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the Cobb Salad, and at the table we had various chicken sandwiches and burgers. My low value rating is primarily on the expensive drinks and $14 price tag for a 3 or 4 oz. pour (literally) of the house Cab.
The food is mediocre and extremely over priced. Only thing that’s worth mentioning is the pretty view from the outdoor seating area.
Great spot with comfortable outdoor seating on the waterfront. Accomodating servers with modifications to menu items. Very tasty. Not at all hurried to clear out the table area.
great food..fun atmosphere, and amazing view on NY..sat outside, had their mac and cheese burger, which is better than any other mac and cheese burger i have had. Price was fair for the quality of food and portion..and the presentation was great
The food was awful, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, and the overall experience was one to be forgotten.
The place had NO AC inside! Honestly we wanted to leave the moment we got there!!!! This place killed my friends birthday dinner.
Didn’t realize there would be a DJ at brunch. The volume was so high and i couldn’t talk to the other person
This was my first time here and was a great experience. Friendly service, great drinks and food for brunch.
food wasn't that great, my second drink was so gross, but they still charged it on my bill after I told them I couldn't drink it.. the music was soooo loud there was no one in there.. the waiter didn't even cater to us, he just kept going up to the young girls next to us giving them free drinks.
We ate outside where it was quiet. Inside, it is very noisy with TV’s everywhere. We needed to go inside to get a server after sitting for 10 minutes or more. After that, the service was good. The food is good. We had an enjoyable lunch.
Slow service, waitress didn’t know about anything on the menu. Menu is limited
Waitress was very inattentive. Multiple mistakes. And was charged extra for bacon which I didn’t even order.
Also we looked at menu on open table and when we arrived at restaurant it was very different. Disappointed in food options.
We will not be back.
VERY basic bar food and the vibe is much more bar than restaurant. I went with 3 friends for dinner on a hot summer night and unfortunately, I think the AC was broken. If not, it just wasn’t on. We were all very sweaty by the end of the meal and it was actually cooler outside than it was indoors.
Had the Ains Spritz which was a little too floral and my friend drank the Summer Mule all night. I eventually switched to white wine which was nice and the pours were good.
We ate chips and guac which were very standard and then one person got short rib tacos and finished them, another got the pepperoni pizza which was pretty big for a 1/2 portion and was very tasty, and then I got chicken quesadilla. Again, not bad not great just v basic.
The waitress and waiters were really nice. I think the biggest drawback was the lack of AC and then also it felt like being at a nightclub. Music was SO loud and obnoxious.
This restaurant is nice, vibe is good, food delicious and view of the pier is in a great location.
fun and hip spot. a bit disappointed with the slow service and fact there were no specials and out of certain wines/beverages.
- The servers kept interrupting our table every 5 min to ask if we wanted addtl drinks. It was distracting.
- It was incredibly loud throughout dinner at 6:00-7:30
- I had to wait 15 min before anyone was available to seat me, and the restaurant wasn’t crowded
We went for brunch on a Sunday, but they don’t even serve coffee🤷♀️. Service slow and avacado toast was some form of guac. Not fresh.
Everything was great especially when they came out and sang happy birthday ♥️ Thank you!
Great food, quick service. Chill vibes with an amazing view of the city. Will be coming back!
Ambiance and drinks were great, food was just ok (besides the nachos which were very yummy)
The waiters took too long to get any of our order. The appetizer of chips and guacamole was brought almost 30 mins after ordered, same with the 2nd margarita we ordered and the place wasn’t crowded inside. The ambience was good thought. Need to work closely with your staff...
I have been here many times before & never had a bad experience but this time around it was horrendous. The food took over an hour to come out there was a worm in my water and the overall service was very sad.
Mother’s Day Weekend Dinner
The outside was dirty. The service was slow.
Nice views of Manhattan and the Hudson but thats about the bulk of what is good here. Highly overpriced for the portion size they offer. Cocktail (summer mule) was in a mule glass that could fit inside a typical moscow mule mug and 3/4 ice. Pathetic tbh. Asked for medium rare burger. Came well done and cost $17. Definitely not 1/2lb of meat and came with maybe 12 fries total?
Server was inattentive to us yet had plenty of time for his boys at a nearby table that walked in. No silverware or napkins at the table. No checkup. No 2nd round of drinks. And $4 for a soft drink? Come on now. Covid sucks for everyone not just your business. Shouldve ate at one of the other nice looking spots within a 1/4 mile radius.
Great service. Food arrived quickly.
Staff was also great - attentive and helpful, particularly with a 2 year-old in tow.
Only piece I wish was different is that the music was too loud. Great music choice, but just too loud...at least for an 11am Easter brunch (the volume would probably be appropriate later in the afternoon, particularly on the football sunday).
