Ainsworth Fi Di
Allowing for various entertainment options with an emphasis on food and optimal service, the space is complete with a dual-sided restaurant complete with two separate dining areas, three separate entrances, a full bar area in front as well as a multitude of seating options for guests.
Our savory and unique 60 item dining menu touches upon everything from brunch, lunch, dinner and even delivery. In addition, we have a full in-house catering, corporate menu which offers 30 different platters, 40 hot and cold passed hors d’oeuvres and different buffet options to choose from.
Great food, great atmosphere, good service but if you want to have a conversation this isn’t the place to go. It was really really loud!
Overall food and service was good. Fries way too salty! Garlic fries were better. Yummy shortrib sandwich with tasty sauce.
I have visited Ainsworth many times for lunch and the service and the food has been wonderful. However today (Saturday) the service and food were awful. I ordered a salad which was tasteless and had no dressing. The butternut squash was also uncooked in the salad. Another person also ordered a burger which was so over cooked. The waitress did not stop by once to refill our water so I couldn’t even ask her for more dressing for the salad. She was also extremely rude and short with us. Overall terrible experience and would not recommend this place for anything other than lunch on the weekdays.
Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. I love this place!
I had the steak sandwich and my friend had the fish tacos and both were great. This is a reasonably priced, professional place to go for a business lunch when you don't want to break the bank. It hits the sweet spot for price and atmosphere in a neighborhood filled with ultra-expensive, high end restaurants. Highly recommended.
Overall a solid business-lunch choice in this neighborhood of mostly fast-food joints. We both had very good salads, but I have tried the short rib empanadas and the fish tacos before, both very tasty also. I like it better for happy hour, though, as it felt very empty.
Walked in and immediately turned around. Was not worth it. Other locations are much better than this one.
Nobody to greet parties. We had a reservation and needed to go find someone to seat us because we had only an hour to eat. Got seated eventually and food was fine. Poorly managed.
Good but not great in a neighborhood without a lot of mid-priced sit down options. Better before it was an Ainsworth, honestly -- but a solid, if sometimes too loud, choice.
Very slow service . Food was good. If you have plenty of time, I would recommend it
It was a wonderful experience. The host seated us right away and the waiting staff were very friendly. Food was delicious. I had the classic burger and it was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
I loved the atmosphere, the staff was amazing, the food was average, the noise was loud but not crazy. Over all awsome
Great creative versions of comfort foods (I had brick pressed chicken) along with healthy options (friend had large salad). We beat the lunch crowd in by a few minutes but the staff was still attentive and polite.
Had a group of 5 at 12:15 during a weekday. Service was slow - waited over 30 minutes for food to the table which I thought a bit slow for a work lunch crowd.
I was hopeful but disappointed. While the food was good, the service was terrible even though the restaurant was not very busy for lunch on a Wednesday. First the staff seated my colleagues before I arrived, which is fine except when I arrived the staff could not find my reservation, and when he did, he was unaware that 2 of 3 were already seated. He proceeded to seat me at a table in a different part of the restaurant. It was 15 minutes before my colleagues and I realized we had been seated at different tables. Second, when we discovered their error, the staff failedto apologize or explain. Nothing was offered for their error, which wasted significant time for a business day lunch. Third, the orders were taken quickly but after the food was delivered, the wait staff were gone. We had to flag down someone to get our check.
Very similar to 121 Fulton, which was there before Ainsworth. Nice bistro style gastro-pub feel with a very broad menu. We had a late lunch, so it was not too noisy. Chix kale salad was good, grilled cheese sandwich also looked good. Odd that the restaurant has no fresh pepper for the tables (?!).
Service was slow, server was not knowledgeable about menu items, had to request refills several times
our server was horrible; we came on a Sunday for the Eagles game and the food and drink was great! our server was rude and not helpful or attentitive.
Food was above average. Tasty, but not worth the jacked up pricepoint and arrived lukewarm. Our inattentive waitress had a chilly demeanor under a forced smile and rarely checked on us. We waited close to 15 minutes for her to notice us (waving like mad women) to bring our our tab. She seem more interested in chatting with her colleagues at the bar. For a lunchtime business meal the music was entirely too loud. I could barely hear my companion and a nearby table was practically shouting their conversation at each other. The younger set may like this place for the after work happy hour scene. I’m not writing this place off, but it’s not on the top of my list. It’s very pretty inside, I did like the style of it.
Food was very good and all of the staff were very attentive. Definitely a place to go back to.
Great casual restaurant. Good food, good service.
I love this place, go there often for lunch or happy hour. One suggestion: lower AC. It's always very cold.
very good choices for lunch and good service. enojoyable lunch
Fish tacos were great, but My friend’s diet coke was flat and undrinkable.
Food was pretty good. I love their wings! Boyfriend had a Mac and cheese burger and loved it! Service was pretty good as well. I do still miss 121 Fulton, they have a lot to live up to but overall worth the money!
No ac in June
I’ve been to Ainsworth several times, but this was my first time at this location. The food was ok, but I have had better at the other locations. The ambiance is nice but I was disappointed that they didn’t change any of the decor from the previous restaurant it used to be, everything was the same and it could have used some sprucing up. What bothered me the most was the service. I asked the waitress if she recommended the beef sliders or the chicken tacos where she answered and said she doesn’t know, she doesn’t eat beef and then gave me a blank stare. It was very unprofessional and disappointing. We also waited almost 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive which at that time, we already had our meal and didn’t want to drink. Definitely not coming back to this location.
The food was good and service adequate. A little slow moving for the overall meal but good overall experience.
We were in a hurry and the service was very accommodating. The food was pretty good too.
Miss the old 121 Fulton. Much too loud to enjoy the meal.
The service left much to be desired. We had to hunt down for waiters and when they actually did come over, those of us in a conversation, we not asked for drinks. It was extremely hot inside and when we numerously asked to up the AC, there was silence.
staff was nice, but food really wasnt good.mac and cheese burger had almost no taste. Wings were ok. chicken tacos were just eh. definitely too expensive for the quality
Good food, nice inside. Good ambiance
Really great ambiance and a step up than the traditional grunge bars on Fulton. The food is good with a decent selection on the menu. The meatballs were delicious and so were the fish tacos. Drinks were powerful and the servers were very attentive. I just didn't like the hostess. She was very snarky and when requested to have a simple bar bill closed out and moved to my table, she refused. In the refusal, she wanted me to get up and do it myself. Totally obnoxious.
Nice new space, but the service and timing of food needs major improvement.
Brunch food was good and decor is nice but the music was so loud we were all screaming and still couldn't hear each other. There was only one other table in the restaurant and when we asked the server if they could turn it down they said no because the owner likes it loud. Definitely wouldn't return if it's that loud and obnoxious of a situation again
We waited forever for our food. When the food finally came out it was ice cold. We were under a time constraint so we couldn't send it back. It was probably one of the worst meals I have had in months. We had to ask for condiments multiple times.
Good atmosphere but the food was not good. I got a burger and it was horrible, not cooked as I ordered and just bad all around. I did enjoy the fries though. Service was good, but for me the food is what matters the most with all the other great options available in the area.
Brunch menu was diverse and welcome.
Wait staff was not attentive and lacked energy but somehow seemingly concerned and friendly.
Portions of the meal were MICROWAVED!!!
Home-fry potatoes were cold and chewy, microwaved.
Sent the dish back to be refired only to have a microwaved plate returned.
Spinach in my omelette was from FROZEN, not fresh and portions were still cold and soggy.
This place might be great for night life but they need to ditch the microwave and frozen food.
The food was mediocre. Short rib grilled cheese had hardly any cheese. Swiss chard was terrible, fried chicken was dark and over fried. It was very noisy and very HOT. All in all I would not go back to this place.
