   Had an amazing time. Service was attentive and exceptional. Had octopus for the first time and it was delicious. Well done scallops to die for. Ceviche fit the exact spot. Like wagyu was phenomenal. Drinks left nothing else to be desired. Serenade by live music was the perfect backdrop along with the perfect lighting.

   Awful. This is what happens when you try to be elitist but at the same time use cheap ikea lamps to decorate your space. The service was ssslllloooww .. it took 30 minutes for our drinks, which arrived after the appetizer (insert eye roll) - which would have been understandable if the place was packed, but it was mostly empty. The menu is really just trying too hard - nothing is relatable. NOTHING seemed appealing. In fairness, this is our fault for watching short TikTok’s and reals made by multiple Chicago influencers who probably put up quick 30 sec. Clips for a free meal. (Insert another eye roll) Out of the 3 apps we ordered the least edible was the asada which one dinner companion called rancid and inedible. Like 3 Karens the bravest asked for the check and we dipped out. Food unfinished and drinks mostly undrunk. I mean - when your margarita shows up in a crown holder you understand that the bartender is using childish gimmicks to try to distract you from the fact that the gold ice cube in the margarita looks like the pats of butter they put in your takeout breakfast order. No surprise when the waiter brought it and advised that there is an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill. Clearly the only way they can keep this staff is because the customers are forced tipped into paying for them. (Insert last eye roll) I predict this place will be closed in less then two years when the money runs out - or in this market maybe even less than one.

   Honestly, one of my favorite's new restaurants in this city! The food is exquisite!!!! A little pricey compared to the other luxury restaurants in the area but still just outstanding. I did wish the server new how to answer our questions a little but more.. BUT because he new the dishes names and ingredients in his native tongue, it was very cool seeing understanding the history behind some of the names of the dishes. Very very amazing place!

   Service was incredible, from server, to chef that came out to speak with dietary guest, to host. Drinks were also incredible. The food, in particularly, the apps, was underwhelming. Could have been more flavorful. Especially when you consider the pricing. Thank you for accommodating my bday party of 7!

    Service and manager were amazing and accommodating, but almost every item we requested (drink and food) were not available. Special shout-out to our server, Joe, who was knowledgeable and kind! The food was extremely salty and bland. I'd prefer to dine elsewhere in the area for the price point. All and all, underwhelmed but cute place/decor.

    The ambience amazing. Music was hopping! Service impeccable. We don't eat red meat so options limited but it was available. The octopus was dreaming and I am still thinking about it. I wish the dessert was better! Will be back

    We went to Aikana to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and had a wonderful time. We were greeted by the front desk wishing us a Happy Anniversary, provided a card signed by the staff, and complimentary champagne for our meal. The ambiance is very romantic, the staff was very attentive, and the dishes are truly created with artistry. Flavor combinations were amazing, and the dessert we had at the end of the meal was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. To top it off, at the end of the night my husband’s stomach was a little upset because he has lactose intolerance and decided to have a dessert containing dairy against his better judgment. He asked the front desk as we were leaving if they could direct us somewhere to buy a ginger ale and they offered to give him a glass bottle to go on the house. Thanks, Aikana! Truly a wonderful dining experience!

    Overall the service was great, waiter was super nice, and food was great. However, for some odd reason the manager went to every table but ours to check if everyone was ok. It may be a simple persnickety detail but we noticed it.

    Had a dinner date at Aikana after seeing a friend post about it. Pros; ambience, decor, service. Very energetic crowd, decor was beautiful and waiter was attentive. Cons: food, priced drinks Good was mediocre to average. The price for the food due to quality and value is mismatched for sure. Drinks were ok.

    Both the food and the service were impeccable! The appetizers were so creative and absolutely delicious! For our mains, we had the lamb, the pork shank and the steak and all of us literally cleaned our plates! The food is DEVINE and definitely get the mama sangria and the roasted pineapple mezcal drink! As for the ambience, the restaurant is a total vibe with beautiful artwork and live music! We will definitely be back!!!!

    What an amazing evening! Delicious food. Fantastic and creative cocktails. Amazing and attentive service. Executive Chef Alexander Quintero is a master of flavor and subtlety. His kitchen runs like a finely tuned machine. It felt like we were eating with extended family. Five stars only because we can't give 6 or more.

    The cocktails were creative and delicious. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Everyone we talked to was warm, friendly, and welcoming. I left there actually knowing people's names! The hospitality and service were so incredible. Our server picked up on that our dinner was a celebratory one, and she brought us each out a little champagne to toast with. At the end of the night when we were parting ways, one of our friends had to wait a little longer for her ride. Rather than have her stand out in the rain, they invited her back in for a night cap and some arepas. I've already made my reservation to go back!
