We typically love ourselves some Michael White. Though his new hotel restaurant Ai Fiori is a sprawling space with more room than they know what to do with. Set inside The Setai, this is a bit of a cookie cutter hotel restaurant - one that isn't bad, but just isn't quite our style.
We had a thoroughly wonderful time. The food was outstanding
outstanding from start to finish! Great anniversary celebration.
Great service and food was very good. Not huge portions for lunch but perfect portion for healthy eating.
Everything was prefect. The food was amazing. But I’ll stay away from the white label burger. It reminded me of a diners burger. Really Messy, over-sauced, and soggy.
This was my second time at Ai Fiori, and the first time that I did not order off the tasting menu. Everything was excellently prepared - from our starters to our main courses, we were in awe of how the seasonal flavors were so expertly highlighted. The service was impeccable. A very well curated experience from start to finish.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. I have already been there 4 times in 5 months and every time it has been fabulous in every way. The food is amazing and the service is impeccable. And it is a beautiful dining room with lots of space between the tables for privacy. Lastly it is quiet so you can hear each other even when the restaurant is full. I cannot say enough positive things about Ai Fiori. I look forward to going back soon!
Went for breakfast in Mother’s Day. Eggs were over cooked for one in our party so had to redo. Other eggs were not hot but we ate anyway, because had to catch a train. Did not even attempt to como the second glass of wine that or meal partner ordered since his breakfast came late. Not what we expected.
Amazing food amazing service, the best dining experience I've had thus far. I highly recommend it. Pricy but worth it.
I rarely write reviews of anything, although I travel and dine out frequently. Today I will write two, one for Ai Fiori- which is a negative review, to one for Daniel- which will be excellent. Our waitress at Ai Fiori was simply inattentive throughout our entire dinner, from ordering champagne and beverages to start until it came time to order dessert. We were a party of six, and we ordered six appetizers and six entrees. We skipped dessert, given how poor our experience was. Five of the six appetizers were acceptable, but only one would be rated very good, the octopus. The lobster bisque was simply terrible. It was essentially hot lobster water with a touch of cream and spices. Since we didn’t see our waitress until it was time to serve our main courses, we had no opportunity to send it back. All but one entree (the Dover sole for two) and two sides were served cold. Again, we never saw our waitress, nor anyone else, even to refill the champagne glasses or additional beverages, until the end of the meal. When we told the waitress that most of the entrees were served cold, she made no offer to address our situation- from a complimentary dessert or otherwise. The meal was over $900. Finally, the room is beautiful, but with no carpeting, is too noisy for conversation at a table for six.
The food was good, but really little to write home about. A one star Michelin establishment should be worth a detour but Ai Fiori is not. There was little imagination exhibited. The most noteworthy dishes were the desserts. Otherwise little to be said that would justify the Michelin Star. And too expensive.
It took us 30min after sitting to order our food and wine.
Was better before, the bread was awful sorry guys but it lost the charm
The lobster, lobster soup and spaghetti are amazing. The spaghetti is a unique combination of lemon, crab meat, tomato and spices. Service and attention to detail are impressive.
Excellent food and service. Typically cramped NYC space.
Ai Fiore has great Italian food but they have obviously joined the current trend of putting Chile peppers or Chile oil in many of their dishes. Despite explaining that my spouse has a sensitivity to these ingredients, one of our appetizers and one of our pasta dishes came with Chile infused oil. While I did not mind the heat, this meant that there was no sharing. It also means that I will have a hard time convincing my spouse to dine there again.
Outstanding cuisine in New York City with an excellent wine collection at all prices. Impecable service paying attention to all the details. Reservations are necessary as it fills in advance.
We go to have dinner whenever we come in NY.
This time we went to lunch.
This restaurant serves excellent cuisine.
My recommended appetizer is a lobster bisk.
Rica la comida , pero un ambiente tranquilo , si buscas el NY , con gente y buen ambiente . Este no es lugar. La comida y el servicio excelente .
Great great great
Thank you Ai Fiori for the amazing night, excellent service Delicious food beautiful atmosphere delightful Dinner.
This was my second time celebrating an anniversary,
I look forward and I definitely recommend this amazing place.
Fantastic service! Staff was prompt, friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent the tastings sent by the chef where flavorful and well prepared!
This was a terrific experience for a relatively large party of 10. Food was excellent and the service impeccable
Definitly worth the price amazing food great service
We've had the traditional 7-course tasting menu for years but food wasn't as good as before this time in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the preparation in the kitchen.
Food was absolutely incredible from the complimentary asparagus creme starter to the hand painted happy anniversary chocolate plaque on our desserts. Will 100% return for another special evening and dining experience.
Excellent food and wine list. The service was excellent as well
Thank you for making my sister’s special
This place was perfect . Celebrated 2 birthdays here . Always 10/10 . Thank you .
Atmosphere great, nice bar area, excellent service. Food out of this world we were treated like Queens. Not an inexpensive place but worth it.
Having dined each night we were in NY at a different high end highly recommended restaurant, this was, by far, our favorite. It is also one of the all time bests. The food was fabulous and inventive. The service was the perfect blend of always being there when needed but was never intrusive.
Overpriced disaster! Bad ingredients, even worse service. Avoid!!!
Pricey but worth it for special dining experiences.
Very nice restaurant, great food, 4 courses was good value. The dessert was just okay, the crab spaghetti was excellent.
Spectacular Service and Delicious Food Amazing Restaurant.
Excellent food and service. We had the 4 course dinner, with was delicious, but too much food. Wine selection is awesome.
Superb in every way.
Excellent service. Was there for a birthday and had a great experience.
This was absolutely the best restaurant I've ever been to. I went there for an anniversary, and anytime I'm in New York on a special occasion, I will go back. I was blown away by the whole experience - the food, the staff and service, the presentation, the wine, everything was perfect.
Thoroughly enjoyed our tasting menu - chose the classic tasting. Since they have half bottles, chose a great chablis and a montepulciano. Perfect before after dinner drinks and after.
Excellent food. Lunch is very heavy seafood focused but the burger is unbelievably delicious.
Ai Fiori is one of the best in NYC. The dishes are creative and tasteful. The wait staff is very knowledgable. Portions are surprisingly large. All the pastas are amazing.
