My first time. Expecting great, I experienced outstanding. If I were to chose my favorite, it would be the blue crab spaghetti. :WOW!
Fantastic meal all around - the crudo with caviar and ravioli were stars
Love eating here. It's almost like they know me ;)
Under the definition of fine dining, this place would be listed at or near the top of the definition. The service was impeccable, the food and the presentation were superb, and the wine selection was amazing. Wine selection was also very easy with the help of the Sommelier. We had a mix of seafood and beef/chicken, all were very tasty! Also, they were able to accommodate a gluten-free diner very easily. The only downside is that all of the items, from salads to appetizers to entrées to wine, are very expensive, therefore it is a once in a great while treat to dine here for us.
Amazing birthday celebration for my husband. Our nine-year old boys also attended and were treated with kindness.
I decided to have a simple elegant birthday dinner and that is truly what I got. The food was so delicious
The service and food were both impeccable. The portions were small but perfect.
I do business lunches all the time in midtown and often pay over $100 for two people including tip. But the price/value relationship was way off here. First, the lunch menu only offered a 2 or 3 course meal for $49 and $68. I asked if we could have a 1 course meal, our server said yes. So we both ordered diver scallops. They were medium size scallops, with 3 on each plate. We also had sparkling water, 1 tea, 1 cappucino. The bill before tip was $96.00 - each scallop plate was $33 dollars, shame on me for not asking the price. So the total with tip was $114 for 6 scallops, bubbly water, a tea and a cappucino. I'll go back to Koi next time. There is just not a proper price/value relationship at this restaurant and there are too many other very good choices right in the area.
Excellent food and service. Beautiful ambience. Expensive but worth it. A special place. Sure to impress you and your guests.
Great taste, fine service.
The restaurant was fabulous and the food fantastic!!
We have been to many restaurants in New York City and I would say that this is one of the top five in every respect. We had phenomenal table by the window overlooking 5th Avenue. The food, service and atmosphere was 5 stars+
From start to finish, this was an amazing experience. Melissa took great care of us!
The staff was professional, the service fantastic and the food impeccable. If I had the time to eat like this all the time I would. Highly recommend it especially if you are a guest at the Langham.
I just ate the most amazing pasta here, while my friends are steak and branzino that they also loved. What an experience! I loved it. Service was friendly and overall it was very elegant. Definitely a splurge, but worth the expense.
Excellent food, lots of surprises throughout and attentive service. Overall there was great service too.
booked a reservation at 830 but waited for another 30 minutes for the table which is kinda tiring. The lady at the front desk replied same sayings “will be ready in a couple minutes” and she didn’t even know the status of the table. Sigh.
This is one of them “Must Go” places. Great place to bring someone your trying to impress. You will not be disappointed.
Excellent service. Great food. Nice ambiance.
Very good. Experience
Really unremarkable for breakfast.
Good cuisine in amazing place!
Veal was overcooked and sent back. Cocktail was incorrect and sent back. Wait staff barely there. This was a $450 waste of calories.
Been here many times and the quality of food, service and attention to detail is always good. Love the table spacing so you can have a private conversation and the attention to detail. Good job - I sent so many people here.
It was Valentine's Day so everything was preset, which was expected however the price was much higher than expected. Service was rushed and the servers described the dish with no enthusiasm that I could barely hear them. It just looked like they wanted to get everything over with and leave as soon as possible. I wont visiting them again if that's the quality you get for spending $650 for two people.
Had a nice experience of valentine dinner with my gf... loads of Chinese young couples there
The food was great, the service was better
Wonderful and memorable meal! Service was impeccable. A bit pricey, but it was my birthday so we enjoyed many courses. Don't miss the pasta with truffles!
It was our anniversary but surprised that they didn’t even wish us a happy anniversary. We’ve had great experiences there otherwise, except this time.
Absolutely fantastic cocktails! A good number of delicious-sounding choices on the prix fixe menu. Food was upscale, though each dish usually had a singular flavor with vegetables on the side. This is opposed to perhaps more inventive dishes where each component provides unique and complimentary flavors. Semifreddo for dessert was very special and delicious!
Overall the meal was very good. Not outstanding like you expect from a Michelin star restaurant but overall consistent. The tagliatelle carbonara was the best dish of the table, my husband ordered the truffle risotto and it was too rich for my taste. Deserts were average and nothing special. Service is excellent and the location is very elegant.
Food was outstanding and came out fast! Service wasn't great but I assumed that's because it was one of the restaurant week and lunch time.
Terrific Restaurant Week lunch on all counts, food, service & ambience. Went with 3 friends ( 2 of them had never been there before). We all loved it.
We have delivered almost 700 reviews on OpenTable after using this service consistently for almost three years. We go out to dinner almost every night of the week. We cannot believe this restaurant has earned a Michelin Star. One of the most disappointing experiences ever at this price point. The ambiance is underwhelming. The food is a huge disappointment. There are MANY exceptional spots at $250 for two. There are other one star Michelin rates spots in Midtown. The staff is friendly and they try hard but there is not the polish nor pedigree. Very disappointing to say the least. No flavor in the pasta dishes. The lobster bisque starter was like soup with no flavor. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
so nice meal! I wanna visit again
The taste were fabulous but the dish presentation could have been better. Meringue was surprisingly good.
We went to Ai Fiori to celebrate our daughter’s 20th birthday. The entire experience was perfect and the food was delicious. They even gave my daughter a gift at the end of the meal. It was a nice finishing touch to a great experience.
