Opened in 8/18/18, Ahi Sushi Bar is an authentic Omakase style Japanese experience. Omakase is the Japanese tradition of letting the chef choose your order. Omakase or “I leave it to you,” includes fresh fish, seasonal vegetables and ingredients.

Ahi Sushi will also serve fresh sushi, sashimi and traditional poke bowls for lunch.
Seatings for Omakase dining experience is every hour and a half starting at 6pm.

    If you are a sushi fan, and are looking for exceptional quality this is the place to go. Small, and intimate place. You can bring your own wine, sake or beer.

    Chef Brian from Korea was a master at his craft. This is a hidden gem right in the middle of Calle 8 (SW 8th St) in Miami. Fresh fish direct from Japan the way the Japanese eat it. Forget the soy sauce and by all means, do not mix the wasabi inside the soy sauce, its consider a sacrilege. Here you will experience sushi the way it was meant to be, no thrills, no fuss. And yes, you do eat many pieces with your own hands. Fish selection was varied and super fresh. Just sit back, have some sake and enjoy whatever Brian throws your way. Will definitely return.

    Outstanding and authentic. Sushi was artfully prepared, delivered with caring and respect for the guests and the meal. Each dish was described in detail, and presented on proper plates. We were a total of 4 persons in the restaurant,maximum capacity, and enjoyed the beauty and calm of a master at his craft, while the outside world of Calle Ocho bustled by. A memorable experience.

    If your preference is intimacy and delicious food, this is the place for you. It is located right next to Ball & Chain in Little Havana. The restaurant is small with only a sushi bar (about 6 chairs in total), restroom and kitchen. The chef prepares everything to order right in front of you. Hands down one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve had the pleasure to eat at. The chef is very cool and chill.

    Wonderful Omakase dining experience. Chef Brian and his assistant Focus presented with mouthwatering bite after bite. Highlights were many but included Spanish Mackerel, Scallops as well as many other. The Omakase does require a bit of adventure in a great way. Not overly exotic, just right, beyond the traditional salmon's, whitefish in tuna's.

    The dishes are consistently well prepared with fresh ingredients. Love the fact that it’s such a tiny restaurant, it has a very intimate feel. The chef and staff are always very attentive, and explain everything they serve. Every time I go, there’s at least one other customer who has been there before. That says a lot about this restaurant.

    Brian the sushi master offers excellent food, often very interesting combinations of fish & shellfish with the appropriate condiments. The ambience is a bit lacking & could use sprucing up. All in all a wonderful meal.
