We ordered a number of dishes and shared family style. Everything was good but nothing was ‘crave worthy.’ I would come back.

Ambiance was lovely, relaxed and classy. Service need some improvement in being professional in handling situations, can be more polite and empathetic, they don't like to hear a complain about the food.
We ordered grilled octopus and arancini as appetizers, arugula salad, squid ink pasta with crab and lemon, roast chicken and a glass of mixed blend white wine.
All the food can do with a bit more seasoning, something is missing in the taste, I'm not sure there is love in the food, that's how my food would taste like after an argument with my husband..bland..but that's OK since they have some good quality pink salt on the table to add which we did and it made a big difference.
The wine was so so.
The worst was the chicken came out raw, we sent it back but Chef insisted it was fine since he checked the temperature and because it was dark meat on the bone so that'w why it looked like that. Made us feel inadequate for complaining, I wasn't going to feed my 5 year old raw chicken. The servers just started giving us some bad vibes for complaining..so much for paying customer rights..and I still tipped about 20% because I know how hard work it is to be in service. But suffice to say I will not be returning there nor will I recommend anyone to the restaurant. If I was the manager, I would have apologized and offer something else, maybe dessert or wine to make it up, never ever be condescending but diplomatic.

Pretty disappointed with both the food and the service. My friend and I showed up right at 10 when they opened, and there was only one table seated. We didn't have any special requests and ordered straight off of the brunch menu, but it still took a half an hour to get our food. After 30 minutes my friend's meal arrived, and i was told it would be just a bit longer because my poached egg did not turn out right and they had to re do it.

When my meal did finally arrive (I ordered the chicken and waffles) the waffle was soggy, the skin on the chicken was mush and the chicken itself was a bit dry. It was as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for the last 30 minutes.

The waitress gave me my mimosa for free, which was nice, but it didn't make up for the extremely slow service and the lackluster food. I won't be too quick to go back, at least not for brunch.

Excellent meal, great flavor. The wait staff was very kind, but I think understaffed. It took far too long for our meal and then to get the checks.

The food was amazing and our server was very gracious. I would absolutely go here again. The menu will change enough because of their daily pasta. So it won't get old any time soon.

We always go to Agrodolce for Seattle Restaurant Week. This time around no exception. The food was very delicious. Service, however, was too slow for my liking. I think there were two servers and the place was quite busy.

We had been wanting to try Agrodolce for years and finally went during restaurant week. With three diners, we were able to cover the entire SRW menu excepting one dessert. Our conclusion was that if you had ordered the pea and asparagus soup as a starter, the rabbit as entree, and any of the desserts; you would have gone home satisfied. The two other starters and entrees were too subtly seasoned for our palates and registered as bland. We were hoping to be wowed and weren't. It's a pretty place and service was attentive and unobtrusive. Maybe it was just an off night in the kitchen?

We have just moved into the area and we’re looking for a new organic restaurant. Agrodolce has gluten free pasta and, as I often avoid carbs wonderful main dishes and appetisers that would make it easy to avoid the delicious pasta all together.

The service was friendly and the ambience was nice, but I was disappointed by the quality of the food. I had the split pea and asparagus soup and I can't remeber ever having a bowl of soup that was so lacking in flavor. I tried adding salt, but that didn't seem to help. The pasta dish was equally uninspiring. The noodles were actually cooked well (slightly al dente) but the taste of the dish was well, meh.

Wonderful food options. The day I went there was a large party with young kids so it was noisy if you were going for a business meeting.

Typically, during lunch, it is more of a business crowd

We have eaten at Agrodolce several times and continue to enjoy the food, service, atmosphere and noise level (not loud like so many restaurants!) One note of caution is that neither of the 2 restrooms are wheelchair accessible.

This is my first evening meal spent here (have enjoyed a fantastic brunch) and it was Seattle Restaurant week, so this could be unusual but all of it was just alright for the price. We waited for a very long time between each course (we got our checks 2 hours after we arrived) and the waiter seemed irritated in general at our presence. The carrots were great, the rabbit just ok, and the truffles were tasty though two of us choked on the copious amount of cocoa covering one. The wine was tasty, though for $11 a pour I would expect more than 1/4 glass. Not fantastic.

We had a delightful time. A friend who lives within walking distance of the restaurant and who has eaten there several times, recommended it. It was our first meal there and they did not disappoint. Very attentive, efficient servers and tasty food. We chose the restaurant week menu. We would happily dine there again if we didn't live so far away (Bellevue).

Most of the food was delicious. The squid-ink pasta with crab, and preserved lemon was exceptional. Arugula salad good/ok. But the piece of Octopus was a disappointment; undersized, and not grilled as nicely as have had elsewhere. Do not care for the waiter-presentation of our food as it arrived at our table, since we knew well what we had ordered. Would like to enjoy our food, and less, rather than more, wait-staff involvement in our dining experience. Did notice that the floors need cleaning; old worn carpet; significantly dusty baseboards , probably years of dust. Place needs a deep cleaning. Bar area needs help; the two framed mirrors do nothing to make the area inviting, bright. Neglected potted plants, too. Clean up please.

Nice place for brunch without the noisy crowds. The food is excellent and interesting. My favorite is the pistachio pancake that is like a Dutch Baby. It comes with either a sweet or savory topping option and the sweet one is light and fruity, not heavy with sugar, so its a perfect breakfast.

The food was exceptional. The squid ink pasta with Dungeness Crab is last meal worthy. The chicken with caper sauce gives and gives. I just wish it seemed like the servers wanted us two quiet, easy customers to be there with them. It went between feeling forgotten to feeling like we were a real burden, which is weird, because we didn't ask for a single special thing. It's the sort of place I would recommend, but warn that the service might pale in comparison to the lovely food.

Everything is very good, food, service etc. the only thing we don’t appreciate is too dark. We cannot even see how the ingredients looks. I had the black ink pasta and my husband did not but the darkness in the place makes it look like the same. We would like to see our food clearly. This is my only negative commend.

Never had a bad meal here until that night, despite very friendly staff & nice ambiance. Overcooked aranchini, scallops that arrived cold & in a beet sauce not mentioned by the server, and a $25 entree that was entirely inedible in addition to being lazily-prepared, like a ground lamb & too-much-mint burrito. Everybody has an off night, and we've always enjoyed this place in the past, so we hope this isn't a sign of where things are headed at Agrodolce.

We got the family style dinner. Has it before and loved it. Got it this time and was very underwhelmed. Paid a lot of mediocre trout. They dimmed the lights we couldn't see the bones. Food was underseasoned and portions were not large enough for 4 people to share.

I have been a fan, from a distance, of Maria Hines since Earth and Ocean in around 2004. (I live in Bay Area.) So Agrodolce was a big disappointment. I expect agnolotti to have very delicate noodles. These agnolotti were thick and chewy and perhaps undercooked; not what I expected. The other pastas were unremarkable. The beet-burrata crostini seemed to skimp on the small dollop of burrata. The arctic char was the best dish of the night. (We shared all the dishes we ordered-- two small plates, three small-size pastas, and one secondo.)

This used to be our go-to restaurant for special occasions and assurance of good food. Our last visit was a special occasion. The menu has changed, and not necessarily for the better. The service, for the first time, was sub-par. We ordered our appetizer as soon as we were seated, only to find out after being assured it was on its way, that it had not been ordered. The focaccia brought to tide us over was touted as warm, but was cold. So disappointed. The chef has changed, and staff seemed off. I hope this was simply an off night, but for a Friday night is was only about 1/3 full at 7:00. We did fill out comment cards to share our disappointment.
