The Brasserie has become synonymous with the North End of Halifax, the region’s most vibrant food destination, serving locally sourced product in an iconic neighborhood.

French inspired food in a stylish and vibrant atmosphere, the Brasserie (est. 2013) focuses on sustainable seafood & ambitious sophisticated cooking where all breads, jams, sauces and desserts are made in house.

Sit on the butcher block bar and enjoy a glass of wine after work, a bar snack, or a full menu during dinner hours. The exposed brick lounge offers a cozy nook for quiet conversation. Further inside the Brasserie is an open kitchen where one can sit at the counter and enjoy the inner workings of the Brasserie culinary operation. Our lively upstairs patio seats 50 and is open during the sunny summer months for cocktails & cuisine.

We welcome you for Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30- 2:30 with a snack menu between 2:30-4pm and we are open 7 days a week, 4pm to close.

Agricola Street Brasserie can accommodate up to 25 guests for private dining in the mezzanine overlooking the open kitchen. Perfect for a private dinner party, a christmas event or a dinner lecture, it’s tucked away enough to be private but open enough to still feel a part of the dining activity. For larger events we are able to reserve the entire dining room, mezzanine and patio!

I was pleased we went for a grad dinner and everything was great, food, service and atmosphere.

Very average food for above average prices. Limited menu on Sunday with 2 options not even available.

Thank you Christine, I do apologize for the limited menu, our daily produce order was delivered with some items we did not deem high enough quality and decided to take that item off the menu. This unfortunately can create a domino effect of guests ordering heavier on items more than we expected. We hope to see you in again soon where we can give a better experience

Our server was quite abrasive and rude, unfortunately, which is unusual for our experience here. The food was okay, my order was also incorrect

We had high hopes for this place but were left disappointed as the server communication and attention was poor, the food took forever to come out of the kitchen and the food was either over or under seasoned. This did not deliver a value or experience commiserate with the prices.

It was my first time going there, and it was a disappointing experience. Drinks were served after an hour, appetizers came 30 minutes later, and dinner arrived two hours after we ordered! The food was extremely low quality, tasteless, in small portions, and very overpriced. I will definitely not be going back there again!

The service was excellent from the very start until the end. The best that this place has. The appetizers were delicious, but the main course was not. The food was served 45 minutes later, my steak was cold, and my son's burgers were very hot and burned. They were black, and they were able to taste it.

Great Mothers Day brunch with duck Benny. Very good coffee. Excellent service. Fabulous ambience. Love this restaurant. If you haven’t been you are missing out!!

Always wonderful dining and service - Geppetto was attentive, funny and competent. Our table loved interacting with him - and enjoyed the great array of appetizers and mains. Thank you!
