My wife and I came to Agora for a post-sightseeing/pre-flight Sunday dinner, and were thoroughly glad we did. The range of authentic Greek, Turkish, and Lebanese items was nice. (We can vouch for the Greek and Turkish authenticity, and will have to take their word for it on Lebanese.) But the real selling point was that, whatever the origin, everything we tried was expertly prepared. Somebody in the kitchen really knows what they're doing. We'll be back.
Very good food. Service was friendly but just a bit rushed.
Great octopus tapas!!! Loved the traditional drink also, never had this before.
The bottomless brunch is both food and drinks and the fod was delicious. In addition the service was wonderful. Some places do "bottomless" then ignore you for three hours. This crew gave you a 2 hour limit but they made sure your glass was never empty and plate always full of delicious food. Highly recommend the deviled eggs.
Agora is our favorite DC joint! 5 stars! Great waiters and an incredible manager named Peter. I recommend it to everyone!
Great food and people. We really enjoyed our meal
Food is good as always, service is good, everything is good. Food is super delicious, especially dinners. We went for brunch and it was good as well.
They have a great bottomless brunch here. We really enjoyed it.
Took my bestfriend here for her birthday brunch and had a great time! Food was amazing, our waiter was very attentive, our drinks were never empty, and the music was just loud enough to hear but not to keep from having conversation. Will certainly be back and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a tapas style bottomless brunch!
Agora is a really cool place. It is one of the only places that I know of in DC that has bottomless food and drinks. It comes to around $43 including tax. You really can not find a better deal in DC for brunch. Be sure to make a reservation or it may be impossible for you to get a table for brunch. Outside seating doesn't need a reservation, but it does fill up fast.
Food is great, drinks are strong, and the overall ambiance is nice.
I recommend it to all of my friends.
Agora never fails to amaze us. Whenever we have friends visit, we take them or meet them at Agora. Their take on grilled octopus is the best in the DMV area.
If we lived near Agora, we'd be eating here every day!
The food was amazing. The service was very attentive and good. I highly recommend it.
loved this place!!! Would absolutely go back. Can't wait. Food was great, service was wonderful
I'd been given the name of the restaurant with the assurance that the meal would be great! And so it was. From the pillow pita bread to the eggplant and bronzino as well as the lamb chops we all had a delightful meal. And the service was very attentive .
We will return!
We did the Sunday brunch and it was great. Definitely worth the little splurge to try anything we wanted from the menu and bottomless mimosas! Great for a catch-up with friends. Lively atmosphere and attentive staff. Halal and vegetarian options available as well.
Wonderful service and great food. We were immediately seated after our reservation was confirmed. Mezze items were brought out within 10 minutes and we received our drink orders after sitting down. The staff was super helpful and came around multiple times to take additional orders.
Delicious brunch, excellent service. Mimosas were flowing!
We love Agora and go every time we have occasion to dine out. Love the food and the neighborhood ambiance. Highly recommended this place
Agora is almost the only restaurant that we went to during our 5 day business trip in DC because the menu was amazing and the food delicious. This is a must when staying in DC!! Get reservations because it’s so good that it is always packed! Excellent and attentive service. Make a reservation for Saturday or Sunday brunch.
Our first time dining at Agora and we will return! Small plates were tasty and fast to the table. Crafted fig cocktail was delicious!
Really enjoyed the restaurant: food and staff were execellent!
Great food, great service, try the octopus and the squid, the carrots were very good too.
Went there for brunch and was not disappointed in the least. The bottomless option is definitely worth it! Amazing food and drinks for a great price. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a good Greek/Turkish option!
The food was ok, not that great,a disappointment.
Lovely meal food was tasty and varied. We did the special which was tapas
Great food, efficient service, be prepared to wait even with a reservation, worth it anyway. Will come back and would definitely recommend if you like Turkish or greek food.
Excellent service a great experience.
We were visiting DC and took our family. Everyone loved the small plates especially the hummus. All in all, a great meal, friendly service and a pleasant environment.
the diversity of the spreads/dips was incredible! Reminded me of travels in Turkey, and the richness of the flavors really was a treat. The service was attentive and I will be back- next time I've heard the dinner lineup is where it's at!
Great food and really nice place. Only small drawback for us was the fast pace everything was served, though one dish at a time: we felt a bit rushed and pressed to go when usually with this type of food we enjoy taking our time and picking here and there from the plates...
Fun local place with excellent Greek/Turkish food at very reasonable prices. Service was great. Wonderful wine list from all over the world, but with a special focus on wonderful Middle Eastern wines. Close to Dupont Circle.
Bottomless Brunch - awesome selection of mezze, the servers come around and refill the drinks without prompting. The spinach and feta omelet was amazing, as was the yogurt parfait. The grilled cheese was underdone and the cheese wasn't even melted, so that was a bummer. FOUR types of eggs Benedict on the menu. I think we tried almost everything between the four of us. Great brunch spot where you can try a ton of things.
Food is great! Grilled octopus, lamb riblets, roasted brussels sprouts all solid offerings. They also have a great wine list (don't miss the Falanghina if you like dry whites). The service was SLOW but professional. Super loud on a Friday at 6 PM. We were definitely competing with the Friday happy hour crowd. I'll return for brunch and see if it quiets down a bit.
Excellent food! Great service. Very accommodating staff. We highly recommend this place. Everything we ordered was delicious!!! And the birthday surprise was sweet!
Disappointing experience. it was very hard to get service despite having a reservation and being greeted by a host (eventually). With so many great choices in the area, we opted to not eat there - since there is little points in spending money in a place where folks prefer to socialize over helping customers.
Very nice place, very good Lebanon food and fabulous choice of wines.
Great as always. See u next time
love the restaraunt and staff and food always great
Great service and some exceptional small plates.
I met a friend for lunch here one day this week and was very surprised at how few diners there were. There was one large table but they weren't very noisy, and only a couple other tables. I have usually been here for dinner. Anyway, we enjoyed sharing hummus, persian rice and a white bean salad--not the most colorful meal but very tasty. I will definitely go again as it was hard narrowing down to only a few things but neither of us wanted to eat too much (e.g. the lunch special with baklava).
