We celebrated my husband's birthday with our family including one baby and one child. Our server was most helpful in planning our meal. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. We had many options to choose from and each item was different and delicious. Dessert was comped by our server and it was the chestnut soufflé'. My daughter said it was one of the best desserts she had ever eaten. Great food & great service, we'll be back!

Agora is one of my all-time favorite brunch spots. The ambiance and the food were nice per usual. My only gripe is that our server was also tending to a table with a larger party. He seemed a bit more attentive to the larger party vs. our table. It took us a while to be able to put in our food orders. He was friendly, but we noticed the lack of attentiveness to our table.

The food is delicious and comes in small portions that can be shared. We particularly enjoyed the roasted cauliflower with a tahini dressing and the Garides Tava, which was a sauteed shrimp with tomatoes and olives. My friend had a glass of the Malbec and said it was wonderful. I had the Topaz Apple cocktail and the spice apple cider was a fantastic element to the drink.

Although I would recommend my friends to visit Agora, the service last time was very low and bad. Agora is one of my fav' places in DC, I go there very often when visitors come, business meetings etc,. However, last time when I went, the service was bad. The waiter came at least 10 times in the first 20 mins since we came, he saw us talking and looking for the menu, however, he did not respect our space and privacy . He came and asked us again and again if we need to order food. While making our order, he recommend us to order at least 7-8 dishes, alleging that each person need 3-4 dishes. He did not ask how much we are hungry, which kind of dishes we like, I felt he was trying to push more and more food- which is unprofessional at all.

My go to when in DC for Saturday and Sunday brunch. Bottomless food and drink is always great and the service fantastic. Hey, if they can put up with me and my drunken friends, keep food coming to the table and our drinks full, how could I complain! Great place, def check it out!!!

I need to come to Agora more often - it never disappoints. In fact, this time it offered a pleasant surprise - 1/2 price bottle of wine Monday! Great way to make an excellent dinner with good friends even better. Everything we ordered was delicious. Absolutely loved the Peynirli Pide - yummy flatbread with goat cheese, mozzarella and dates. The cauliflower was amazing. Shrimp and kalamar cooked to perfection. You simply must try this place! It's a lovely restaurant, our server was excellent and the food is divine.

As far as Turkish food goes, it was pretty good! The price point is a little higher than I imagined. My only "problem" is that we were sat on the side room, which is not as cool as the main room

I took my wife here for Valentine's day. She is a vegetarian, and she loves Middle Eastern food. We have been to many great Middle Eastern restaurants in metropolitan DC. Agora surpassed all expectations, far better than any of the great reviews I had read. We ate upstairs, and I found the ambience perfect. The menu is large, varied and interesting. We sampled quite a few dishes and we loved all of our choices. The service was perfect, not easy on such a busy night for the the staff. My highest recommendation.

We were a group of 6 people from different countries. We asked for a quiet table, and they very nicely settled us into a table in a bit of an alcove. The food was delicious and the setting allowed our conversation to flow freely. Thanks much for a wonderful evening!

Waitress was not helpful or informative that the plates are very small (French toast is the size of a small slice of cheese!) She did not bring our check in a timely manner and then told us the machine was broken and made us wait 30 min without complimentary coffee or anything. Not impressed by the food and noise level was high. Would not recommend.

This was my first time at AGORA. I had a 6:15 reservation on a Monday night. The place was nearly empty when we arrived, but filled up quickly. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that bottles of wine were half price on Mondays! The food and service were excellent. The baklava was to die for. I will be back for sure.

Let me tell you guys, my server, who was Turkish, let us lives our best life at brunch. He gave all the best recommendations, was very honest about what was trash verses what was delicious and picked out choices from start to finish. Couldn’t have been more pleased. Great choice for a group with varied tastes or restrictions with the opportunity to taste many different items. Noisy by my standards, lively by other's. Be aware there isn't really an option for a traditional "meal" --protein, veg, salad--you create the combos yourself. I could survive on the bread and dips alone.
