Atmosphere was casual and inviting. Quiet enough to chat and quite a fun menu to look over. Food was delicious, every bite a treat. Our server was a bit hard to communicate with but very gracious and attentive. Great place for after the show.

Ageha is in a great location and the staff are friendly. Their sushi and sashimi were good. Calamari was perfectly cooked. Pad thai was sweet and I could do without. Overall a nice place to visit.

Clean and inviting restaurant. The sushi was fresh, great specialty rolls. The sushi pizza is a must! Don't be concerned about the size of photo in menu, it's not that big, more like personal pan size but perfect for sharing appetizer. The service was very attentive. The tempura fried cheesecake is worth the extra calories! Highly recommend this restaurant. We will absolutely be back!

It was very nice. the specialty rolls were sort of too large to put in one's mouth.

Fresh ingredients and lovely service. Went there for my birthday and since I love fresh fish, this place is definitely worth it. They made the sushi the way I like it.

We've always been pleased with the food at Ageha and it is quiet enough to have a conversation with family we haven't seen in a long time. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the time spent at Ageha.

Pretty good. The staff was really sweet. The menu for 2 was enough surprisingly (I'm a big eater). The tea and the orange at the end were a nice touch. Overall we really liked it, the only problem was that the sushis didn't have enough rice

We like Ageha. It's cheap. The food is pretty good. The wait staff is great, but they don't know what wines are on their menu. Mostly house. Avoid the cabernet. Good value. Not too busy ever. Extensive food menu.

Oddly, OT indicated they had several time slots available..... when we got there early we were told they were closing soon. So the entire experience seemed very rushed.... plus the meal seemed like we were getting the end of the day remnants. It wasn't awful... just wasn't good either. I would have given it one star..... But the app wouldn't let me rank it that low.

We walked in and the place spelled unusually strong of fish - more than is typical for a sushi restaurant. We decided to overlook. Our cold plates were not cold - the salmon appetizer tasted fake and like it had sat out for a long time. Our sushi roll was hot and mushy even though there werent any warm ingredients! Lastly we ordered pineapple fried rice and even that was bad. Very bland. The chicken tasted like rubber and the rice was completely textureless. We did not finish and left and had dinner at thai yum yum instead. Terrible!

Finding a good Japanese restaurant with menu items for a vegetarian (me) can sometimes be a challenge, especially if you want a good hot meal (and not the usual tempura vegetables). Ageha was a really beautifully designed interior space that was bustling with activity from couples and small groups. Service was very attentive and I was seated immediately. The food is presented artistically, and I enjoyed a very filling meal with a good salad, vegetable dumplings, and a big serving of tofu fried rice. The check came with an expertly cut orange half that was a perfect ending to my solo dinner.

A year ago this place was very good and it's busy today. Most people seemed to be ordering the sushi rolls which were decent but the individual sushi pieces were flavorless. I won't be returning.

We really enjoyed the Yummy pizza appetizer. The salmon lover's was presented on a platter with a lighted glass featuring the sashimi. The fish was fresh and almost melted on the tongue. Service was prompt and professional.

Took my girlfriend and her son for sushi before ice skating at Rockefeller Center. I selected this restaurant based on reviews alone and what a wonderful decision. VERY Reasonable prices for sushi, in a great little restaurant. The wait staff was wonderful and made a great roll suggestion when I asked. I have been coast to coast and have tried sushi all over the USA and I have to say this was one of my favorite experiences. When I think back there are only a couple places I would put ahead of Ageha. If you are in Hells Kitchen or NY for that matter and want a nice quiet dining experience with great sushi at a great price you have to stop here! Over all cost was $103 plus tip. Two sushi dinners plus two specialty rolls along with two drinks and two appetizers.

If you have a craving for sushi, do not want to wait and it is late, this is the place. Hawaii sushi was a interesting combination soft, sweet and salty, filling. Great place, waiters very friendly and you can have a conversation.

Bustling sushi restaurant. We went in for a pre-theater dinner and the service was very quick so we made our show. I would go back again and spend a little more time.

Everything we had was delicious, and the size of the pieces of fish in my sushi were quite generous. Service was professional but perfunctory, the waitress dropped our check off after we declined dessert and never returned to see if we'd changed our minds or to fill our water glasses.

It was busy & noisy but not too noisy for conversation, although I think that depends on the crowd.

I would go back.

My girlfriend and I both had the three roll combo for $13.50 which includes a salad and soup. There were a variety of choices, fresh fish and the miso soup/salad were both very good. Go here before 4pm as the food is more affordable and still holds the same quality. They also serve Japanese beers on draft for $2 ( we had 2 Sapporo each).
