Sushi or Sashimi
Solid sushi choices but the service especially hostess brought down the experience. Had the hostess been more hospitable and welcoming the rating would be much higher
Fantastic sushi in Hell’s Kitchen, we got the sushi/sashimi for two and were very happy with it. Would go again next time we are in NYC.
There is nothing memorable about the restaurant: neither good not bad. Everything is just OK.
Just what we wanted after a dreary day - miso soup and some great sushi/sashimi. We got the chefs platter for two and it was a great value, both delicious and generous servings. Our waiter was efficient and helpful with a great sake suggestion. Would definitely return.
Great local neighborhood sushi spot if you are in Hells Kitchen. Not to small and not bad prices. Will def. go back
We had high hopes and traveled across town due to the 4.8 rating... what we found was a nice sushi restaurant with simple decor. We have no real complaints, just expected much more due to the super marks people were giving it. If we were close by, it could be an easy stop, but unlikely we will cross town for it again.
Food was good, interesting varied menu , appetizers could have used a little pizzazz but everything was fresh and service was great. I’d go back.
Great service, delicious food and super affordable for NY. Wouldn’t definitely go again.
The best sushi I've eaten in a long time! Definitely one of the BEST in NYC!
It was our first trip as a family of 3 to NYC, and this was recommended to us, far less crowded then anything in Times Square would have been. The food was amazing! The Yummy Roll was my favorite, I had 2 of it
Great food and very nice staff. We were seated quickly and the service was good.
Food was excellent and a good value. Service was attentive and quick.
Just alright. Not bad. A basic sushi place. Was not impressed.
Great food! Never a disappointment coming here!
Delicious food, such unique options. Great service. Loved it, and would 100% return if I went back to NYC.
Very good service and menu was good value.
Family enjoyed the experience.
A great and friendly place with reasonable prices. Highly recommend for a family dinner.
So much of sushi is the ratio of rice to fish. This place got it wrong.
Perfect ambiance.... Food was incredible! Staff was friendly and service was fast. DRINKS were delicious!!
GREAT pricing on drinks! Very good pricing on the sushi. Sushi pizza was amazing ! Really!
The space is nice and welcoming. The front desk people are friendly and the menu is vast. Unfortunately, our server became annoyed because we asked for salt and hot sauce when the food came out bland. You could see the annoyance on her face. First of all the food is overpriced compared to the rest around the same area, so if it is also not as tasty, why would we not ask for extra items? To top it off, it's the holidays so for the front desk girl to be so cheery and spirited and not the waiter, made her seem even more negative. I don't think I'll be back there again.
Super fast sushi, salad, and soup! One of the best places I’ve been for sushi!
Food made me sick to my stomach. Better off avoiding this place.
Noisy, chaotic, mediocre food. Food was basic
Decent location to theatre and cheap
Holy moly was this place amazing!! Food was out of this world and our tab was SO INEXPENSIVE for NYC! Will visit this place every time I’m here! Highly recommend, total gem of a spot.
Great food! Great ambience. Will definitely be back.
great place! Been a bunch of times and it's always good.
Good food and value in theater district and takes reservations. Music a bit loud
Very good value and great food. Consistently a very good experience.
The food was very fresh. Service was very good. Not pricey.
Sake was a very good value. Jalapeño hitachi was delicious as was the lobster tempura roll. We ordered the chefs sashimi special 21 pcs and that’s where things were not that great. Salmon and hamachi were decent but the rest was very bland at best. For desert we had a “bollo” sp and that was delicious.
Would I go back - definitely but I would not order the sashimi.
We were in town for a conference and went here for dinner. The rolls were so fresh and delicious. The prices are extremely affordable for how high quality the food was. Great service as well.
Good options with pictures which is helpful if you have some newbies to sushi like we did.
One of the best sushi options in Hell's Kitchen, and probably the nicest physical establishment. Portions are more than ample, high quality, and reasonably priced. Great for pre-theatre, date, or just a get-together. Very nice and attentive staff.
Return visit before. Concert. Great food and service.
We love this place. Took friends for our third visit. Everyone was happy and full. Even our non sushi lover. Clean. Great dishes. Really good prices for delicious sushi in Manhattan. We WILL be back
My new favorite sushi place! Unique and delicious!
The reviews are far too generous. The staff was nice, but they did get our order wrong. They handled the mistake well.
The room is nice. Fairly quiet. We had no problem talking.
The food was mediocre to slightly below average. The sushi was very thick. I never had such a thick slab of fish. It made the texture seem off. My wife felt the food was ok too.
Poor service and staff that barely speaks english.
