About

Agaves Kitchen and Tequilla is a Mexican-themed restaurant and bar. During the day, this is a contemporary restaurant with all of the modern decor and stylish furnishings one would expect from a restaurant serving the latest in Latin-Fusion cuisine. At night, Agaves turns into a full on dance club complete with house DJs, dance parties and bottle service available for reserved tables.

The menu contains many of the house specialties one would expect from a Mexican restaurant. Agaves also has several house specialties diners are unlikely to find anywhere else like the salmon talla, with epazotel, cordn esquite, red bell pepper coulis, tomato and zucchini relish. Another local favorite is the sea bass conquistador with a black bean puree, cilantro rice, fresh market vegetables, grilled nopalitos and topped with creamy poblano sauce. Diners should also be sure to sample Agaves robust cocktail menu, featuring several different types of margaritas.

They just changed ownership recently, I came in on a Friday night, It was myself plus two, That evening (8pm) They where pretty empty. My friend that arrived before me, said the service was slow, I sat for 20 min before any service, I had to ask the new owner to assist us on placing my drink order , it took 20 more min to get drinks (on a empty night) They menu only has finger foods, Tacos... I had a potatoes & chorizo taco and my gf had the Tinga - neither of us cared for them, We had a drink each, plus nachos, 3 tacos totals and 3 beers, total was 80$. We had to get up and get our own silverware, we had to ask for service . Ive been here a few times before the new owners, Food has always been amazing, service had been great, even on crazy cinco de mayo.. I think ill wait to go back, if they step of the service and add plates to the menu. I can go anywhere for TACOs - I don't think the food/service was worth 80$.

Anyways - best of luck.

This place allowed guest to make Mother's Day reservations!!!! On top of that I actually confirmed the reservation 2 days prior to event date, and spoke to some one got thru and he then confirmed our reservation that was made for 12:15pm. The then began to explain that there was no special moms menu on that day it was going to be regular Open menu. On date of the event we arrived at location at 12:15 pm to come to find out the restaurant was closed bar stools were on top of tables indicating that they weren't anywhere close to opening!!! My family and I was so upset and appalled from this establishments way of bussiness, when then had to scramble to find a location where to celebrate a special day. So saddened that I yet haven't recieved a apology on their behalf especially after leaving them a message! Bad way to do business guys! - I have worked in the restaurant business for many years and that is not a way to treat any client.

I had made reservations for Mother's Day. When we arrived at the restaurant at noon, the restaurant was closed no one inside or outside. I called a number displayed on the window and a gentleman answered. I informed him that we had reservations at noon and we were outside the restaurant. He stated they had a gas leak the night before and had to close the restaurant. I asked why didn't they notify all the customers who had reservations, he responsed that they had called some. It was obvious they had not called any customers cause we were all in the front of the restaurant. This is a terrible restaurant because if truly cared about their customers
Someone should have been in front of the restaurant apologizing to the customers and providing gift cards or something for customers to return. Terrible customer service. Will not be returning.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE PLACE TO EVER VISIT. I INFORMED THEM THAT I HAD RESERVATIONS AND THE MANAGER STILL SAID THEY HAD NO AVAILABLE SEATS AND THAT I COULD WAIT AND FIND A SEAT WHENEVER SOMEONE LEFT. MY RESERVATION WAS NEVER HONORED.

I WILL NEVER RETURN!!!!

I wouldn't rely on the reservation times and if I do go back I will call ahead of time to check on the wait time bc my reservation was scheduled at 8:45pm and had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. After being seated it took them another 10-15 minutes to bring out a menu and that was bc I asked for one. It was just poorly coordinated and service could have been better to make up for the waiting time. It wasn't what I expected.

They were accommodating on a busy evening. Staff polite but short handed. We waited quite a while before our Oder was taken. Chips were stale, table side guacamole was bland, Entré was fair, Cocktails were very good. It's more a bar than a Restaurant.
