It was incredible. My mom and I went to Brunch and did the Bottomless and was stunned. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat!
I went this passed Sunday to celebrate my birthday and I was very happy with my experience. The food was really good and the service was amazing. This was one of the best brunches that I have had in a while and it was very affordable.
We had a lovely time and the waiter was very generous with our boozy brunch.
A tree legit fell through their glass roof. I was standing underneath and had glass/tree bark all over me. They did nothing to solve it
I took some friends visiting to Agave on a wet Sunday after a heavy weekend. The casual vibe was great, and service was super attentive. Personally compared to some other amazing brunches we have had in NYC I found the food a bit 'meh' - not awful but nothing to write home about. Come here for the brunch deal, not the food x
Amazing margaritas and delicious food! Would definitely visit again.
Our experience at Agave was wonderful! Food and bottomless brunch was great!
Agave was super accommodating- we had to add people to our reservation at the last minute and we all ended up arriving at different times, but they were courteous and not at all impatient. Food and drinks were amazing as always! As far as birthday brunch goes, it’s my favorite.
Birthday best day!
I was in the mood for a frozen margarita and remembered Agave having excellent frozen margaritas. We were dining during happy hour so we took advantage of happy hour drink prices at the bar and sat for dinner in the dining room. This was our first time eating in the inside dining room. We have come here during the summer and eaten outside. The ambiance is lovely, tables nicely spaced and the music volume in the dining room was kept at a reasonable level so we could hear each other without having to yell. We had fried calamari and guacamole for appetizers, both excellent. Our entrees included roasted chicken, chicken/cheese quesadilla and sides of sautéed spinach and sweet potato fries. The food is excellent, served hot, nicely prepared and presented. The vegetable side that came with my roasted chicken of sautéed baby carrots and green beans were perfectly cooked al dente. Delicious! Check it out!
Food was good. However hostess ruined entire experience. Horrible personality, extremely rude and just very unpleasant.
I've eaten here many times and am usually very pleased, not this time. We arrived at 5:00 for a 5:15 reservation and was told they were still trying to empty the dining room from brunch so we had to sit in the enclosed front area. It was very loud bc it was open to the bar and happy hour. Our waitress was not attentive and left us waiting for long periods of time without checking on us. The soda was flat and when we told her she said there was nothing she could do but offer us something else. After waiting at least 20 minutes to order coffee, we were told they don't have decaf. Just not good service. I should've left her a dollar, but I'm not that mean!
So delicious! A great deal for a bottomless brunch. The menu had lots of options and we had an amazing time.
Great food, a bit noisy. Definitely worth the money spent.
I came here for brunch with my friend. We had a great time. The food was very good, the drinks were great. Our waitress Ariella (i probably spelled her name wrong) was so good. So polite, always checking on us. One of the better brunches in New York.
Definitely make reservations!!! They open at 11 and the line was already out the door!
Lobster Benedict and blueberry pancakes were incredibly delicious. Bottomless mimosas were kept consistently full. Guacamole was ON POINT.
My wife and I love Agave and will keep coming back because of the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Plus, the boozy brunch is the best in NYC in my opinion. I'd like to thank Nicole the manager and Lucia our server for tremendous, attentive service. This is why we'll be back in August for visit number 8!
Got three for $2 tacos and they were awesome. Great tequila selection and wonderful service. I’ll go back for sure.
Good place with great music. Brunch menu is limited, but has a decent selection. 2 hour special for mimosa/margaritas are worth the money.
Server was very attentive. Food and bottomless mimosas were a great value!
I LOVE this place! Came twice and loved it even more the second time. The food is delicious and the drinks are amazing as well (especially if you love tequila and mezcal). It's also beautiful on the inside and outside areas, with great candle lighting and authentic but not over the top mexican decor. I always recommend this place to everyone I know.
it might have been the night of the week, but the restaurant was almost empty and we were sat way in the back away from the bar and any signs of "life". there was no energy.
This was the perfect place for a birthday brunch with 11 friends. The food and drinks were great and the atmosphere was really fun!
Good looking young crowd, but very, very loud for a late evening.
Waiter was a little pushy getting our food out but left us alone after it hit the table. Several large groups nearby kept things lively. The menu has great value, and the dimly-lit Latin-themed decor is great.
A little loud during brunch, but great value
Food was great. Weren't offered refills after food came but overall nice experience.
Great place!! The ambiance was amazing and the guacamole was terrific. All the food was really good and the wait staff was decently attentive seeing as it was very busy. Also margaritas were authentic and made fresh, the pitcher was totally worth the price to split with friends. 13$ for one small margarita but the pitcher was 70$ and it poured 10 glasses the same size!
Food was excellent! Our group of 8 loved the atmosphere. Margaritas were some of the best we’ve ever had. Service was excellent the staff was very attentive.
Great food and good ambiance. The mushroom quesadilla with truffle is amazing! The Tres Leches was a bit disappointing though.
Good location, good music, staff okay. Tasty drinks, and overall good energy. I will definitely go again.
Out with my daughter
Went to dinner with my friends and my 12-yr-old daughter. After 30 minutes of adult convo she got bored and fell asleep on my lap. Manager comes over and asked if she's ok. I laugh and say "don't worry she's not drunk, she's a kid and fell asleep"
He proceeds to try and tap her to wake up. I stop his hand and repeated that she was a child. He says "well people can't sleep here"
I've been here a million times. I've introduced this place to friends that are now loyal customers. I know some times are not appropriate for kids. I can understand during boozy brunch times but it was a 6 PM dinner!
Bottom line, don't come here with kids. They're not welcome. Not even the quiet, sleeping kind.
This place is very packed during brunch hours but hostess attend to you as best as they can and the wait time isn’t too long. Overall good experience
Excellent happy hour. $6 margaritas and $2 tacos
Loved the bottomless drinks
Went for the prefix brunch. The food was great, it was overall an good value. Music was extremely loud. Everyone was screaming to communicate. Go if you are looking for a boozy brunch where the food is good. Don't go if you like a quiet environment. Staff allowed us to stay as long as we wanted, unlike other brunch locations where they push you out. Service was great.
The food was great, especially the wild mushroom quesadilla. The margarita pitcher was delicious! The seafood enchilada was just ok, but my family thoroughly enjoyed the fajita platter, chicken tacos and burger, as well as the molten lava cake!
I was with 3 other friends and we were originally interested in their lunch specials but we found out that they are moving towards week-long brunch specials. The staff was extremely accommodating as we wanted lunch foods, so they were kind enough to let us do the brunch special with a lunch entree. Service was good, food came fast, and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely come back here again. One thing to note was, it was an extremely cold day so it is somewhat understandable, but the dining area was frigid. It's likely an isolated incident since it was just so cold out that day but just something to note. Overall, great experience and can't wait to come again!
