The food was amazing. Service was outstanding. The staff made sure your drink was always full.

The food was great but they are anally retentive with the “2 hour” limit at the table. I can see cutting off booze at 2 hours but telling the table you need to leave for another reservation is u professional. And the front girl at the podium is super rude. Get it together people.

We sat on the indoor patio Saturday and although I don't remember our server's name, the service was incredible. Our margaritas never went empty, he even came around and did last call for happy hour. The food was amazing, I highly recommend the guac appetizer. Although it was primetime on a Saturday night, it wasn't too crazy or too loud. We visit New York City every few months and we will definitely stop here again. Thank you!

Alright experience- quick to refer to the manager, Hector, upon request. Hector was extremely pleasant despite the rude hostesses and wait staff.

An hour into “unlimited” brunch, our waiter told us he would be “dialing back the drinks” because he was afraid we would act out and he would have to kick us out. It is important to emphasize here that our table was not rowdy, rather one of the quieter tables and this was solely based on our consumption (which he served us). I could understand if our table had caused a ruckus, someone got sick, or we offended someone, however the fact it was just the anticipated fact that we may act out caused this judgement. Ironically gratuity was included because we were a table of more than six or else we would have not tipped.

It’s hard to not feel singled out and judged in this situation. Safe to say I will not be returning. Wish the service was as good as the burrito. Boozy brunchers beware.

Came here for a friends birthday. I made the reservation morning of. We got right in when they opened. Our server was amazing with helping us when we asked questions about deciding between menu items. Bottomless beverage was constantly refilled. Food came or extremely fast. My only reason for not giving 5 stars all around is the food was a little cool. Wish it was hotter. But everything tasted amazing. The girls and I had a great experience.

Great food. Service usually good (though tonight not great - our waiter disappeared). But biggest drawback is the noise level. Nearly impossible to have a conversation.

The food was delicious! Best guacamole ever and the crab dip was outstanding!! Drinks were okay. Ordered a few different margaritas and they were hit and miss. Had a wonderful dinner and would definitely go back!

Our portions were bigger than anticipated, which is probably why the margarita pitcher hit a little late. Overall attentive service. The background music was also very much bumping like a club.

Accommodated a large party of ten well. Sunday brunch was very energetic with a never ending pitcher of mimosas and margaritas. Service was great and never felt rushed. We ordered of the brunch menu and everything was very tasty. Will return soon.

I took some friends visiting to Agave on a wet Sunday after a heavy weekend. The casual vibe was great, and service was super attentive. Personally compared to some other amazing brunches we have had in NYC I found the food a bit 'meh' - not awful but nothing to write home about. Come here for the brunch deal, not the food x

Agave was super accommodating- we had to add people to our reservation at the last minute and we all ended up arriving at different times, but they were courteous and not at all impatient. Food and drinks were amazing as always! As far as birthday brunch goes, it’s my favorite.

I was in the mood for a frozen margarita and remembered Agave having excellent frozen margaritas. We were dining during happy hour so we took advantage of happy hour drink prices at the bar and sat for dinner in the dining room. This was our first time eating in the inside dining room. We have come here during the summer and eaten outside. The ambiance is lovely, tables nicely spaced and the music volume in the dining room was kept at a reasonable level so we could hear each other without having to yell. We had fried calamari and guacamole for appetizers, both excellent. Our entrees included roasted chicken, chicken/cheese quesadilla and sides of sautéed spinach and sweet potato fries. The food is excellent, served hot, nicely prepared and presented. The vegetable side that came with my roasted chicken of sautéed baby carrots and green beans were perfectly cooked al dente. Delicious! Check it out!

I've eaten here many times and am usually very pleased, not this time. We arrived at 5:00 for a 5:15 reservation and was told they were still trying to empty the dining room from brunch so we had to sit in the enclosed front area. It was very loud bc it was open to the bar and happy hour. Our waitress was not attentive and left us waiting for long periods of time without checking on us. The soda was flat and when we told her she said there was nothing she could do but offer us something else. After waiting at least 20 minutes to order coffee, we were told they don't have decaf. Just not good service. I should've left her a dollar, but I'm not that mean!

Lobster Benedict and blueberry pancakes were incredibly delicious. Bottomless mimosas were kept consistently full. Guacamole was ON POINT.

My wife and I love Agave and will keep coming back because of the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Plus, the boozy brunch is the best in NYC in my opinion. I'd like to thank Nicole the manager and Lucia our server for tremendous, attentive service. This is why we'll be back in August for visit number 8!

I LOVE this place! Came twice and loved it even more the second time. The food is delicious and the drinks are amazing as well (especially if you love tequila and mezcal). It's also beautiful on the inside and outside areas, with great candle lighting and authentic but not over the top mexican decor. I always recommend this place to everyone I know.

Waiter was a little pushy getting our food out but left us alone after it hit the table. Several large groups nearby kept things lively. The menu has great value, and the dimly-lit Latin-themed decor is great.
