Agave Ratings and Reviews
We had the mushroom quesadillas and the crab avocado toast appetizer. It was very good. Drinks were good but inconsistent. The two blood orange margaritas ($6.00 for happy hour) we ordered tasted different from each other. The happy hour specials were great- $2.00 empanadas were so good!
Overall, I’d recommend it. Food is not served until 5pm.
This was my second time visiting and with both of my visits my experience was an outstanding experience. Went for Sunday brunch got the $35 bottomless prefix menu. The food was delicious ((just wished there were more eggs)) and the waiter was on point with our mimosas. I will definitely continue to return.
First, they tried to seat us in the worst possible table in the front sandwiched next to the door, which was very inconsiderate because there were other tables open and it was very cold out. Then we felt rushed by the server the entire meal. Very loud and hard to hear the person across the table. Food was alright, but overpriced. Would not recommend and will not be returning.
It was freezing outside and we were seated in the cold glass front room, although there were lots of nice free tables in the back. The music was way too loud where we were right up next to the bar but the hostess said she didn’t seat us in the back because it was too loud. Sigh. The food was ok though the duck tacos were not hot. Service was fine. Won’t go back. It looked more like a millennial pick up joint than anything.
We wanted to have a boozy-brunch and that’s exactly what we got.
The weather was gorgeous so we sat outside, it was great watching the hussle and bustle pass you by. I love a frozen margarita, and as it was bottomless for for next 2 hours, I took advantage. For an extra dollar you can add a flavour, I had the blood orange and loved it. My other half had white wine and it was of a good quality. The food was tasty the drinks were regularly topped up.
I’d happily go back tomorrow and have recommended it to my friends!
My friends and I really enjoyed our Brunch experience. The Pre-fixe menu with a two-hour block of bottomless drinks (your choice of margaritas, mimosas, or bloody marys) was a great value. The service was great, our waiter was pleasant and very attentive -- we never had an empty glass. I would definitely come back for Brunch for other occasions.
We went to Agave for a birthday. There were 8 of us and they sat us at a wonderful round table that made it perfect for talking as a group. Greatly lighting, food, and margaritas. Lots of laughs and the waiter was wonderful at showing up when we needed him but not being overly attentive. Highly recommend.
Good brunch spot. Our waitress messed up our omelet order and wasn't super attentive. The staff seemed frustrated with one another and the place was not even crowded. I got the vibe something was going on "behind the scenes." However, it did not ruin my experience but definitely something to be aware of in the future. Overall, I look forward to coming back.
The food here is always great, although I'm not too adventurous! Enjoyed the chicken enchilada while my friend raved about the seafood enchiladas. We shared the quinoa app, which was wonderful. Only "gripe", they were out of decaf coffee and didn't serve tea at all! Will definitely return.
This place was very rude they took a reservation for us even sent a confirmation email then when we showed up they were very rude saying they don't take reservations and said we had to wait 40 minutes. So why take a reservation send an email confirmation then be rude ? Not our kind of place.
Food was great. A bit dark and loud, so good for a late dinner atmosphere. I probably wouldn't recommend the downstairs atmosphere for families/kids but more for a late dinner. Pretty pricey but the food was fantastic. I would absolutely go back and recommend.
