The food was good. We had reservations for 3:15 pm. The restaurant was severely understaffed and our waitress was running around (not her fault!) juggling multiple tables. We asked for an indoor table due to it being freezing outside and we were very patient but, because of some miscommunication, we got passed up twice and only made our way inside around 5 pm!!!! Our waitress, Riley, was extremely kind and apologetic but we assured her we knew this was not her fault. 10/10 for food and the waitress. However, the owners should really handle this better. Maybe at least implement outdoor heaters for outdoor seating...
Excellent outdoor dining structure to keep you warm and maintain an indoor feel. The food is good and if you’re looking for mexican food look no further. The service was the only complaint. We ordered tequilla shots and they gave us water. Overall good place just an unfortunate experience with the service

Margaritas are so good! Wish the food portions were a little bit larger! the tacos would have gone well with some rice or fries, but it was great regardless! would def go again for a bottomless brunch

Went for Sunday bottomless brunch with some friends. Had the eggs benedict with fries, it was good but nothing special. Margaritas were strong and yummy. Place looks super cute, I sat outside. Would go back!!

I took my sister and boyfriend to Agave last week for dinner and we sat outside. We ordered a pitcher of Blood Orange margaritas (which served 2 glasses each)--they were good, but nothing particularly special. We ordered the Cajun fries which were super delicious, but not the Cajun seasoning I was expecting. My boyfriend enjoyed the steak quesadilla, while my sister and I shared an order of Adobo chicken tacos, and an order of the steak tacos. Both tasted good. I'd overall give Adobo a 7.5/10. It was tasty and clean and the ambiance was nice, but it wasn't the best Mexican food I've had in NY. I've heard it's fantastic for bottomless brunch, but I haven't been here for that.
Had a 2:30PM reservation and did not end up getting seated until 3 PM. They seemed really understaff. The bathroom was not clean at all.
I am very fond of this place but the food wasn't up to par as normal. My eggs Benedict was more of a hard boiled egg rather than a poached egg. The French Toast was that flavorful. Just tasted like a piece of flavored grilled bread.
Food took 1 hour to come out.

Took a little while get the drinks order placed (was bottomless) and we weren't sure how the service was going to go, but once it kicked off we got great service and the food was delicious.

A little disorganized in terms Of seating and servers. Kinda like they were all under staffed, but once the waiter knew we were his - he was pretty attentive.
I’ve been going to Agave for years. Until this time I’ve always had great food and drinks. This was anything but even good. The restaurant was either out of or unable to cook half of their menu. No one bothered to let us know until the drinks were on the table. Service was prompt and efficient. I would have scored them higher if the server or hostess would have informed us before the drink order was processed. The food was adequate at best. I left food on the plate with as small as the portions are.
I’m not going back to Agave.
Food was good, however service needs much improvement. Half the time our waitress could not remember what we ordered and brought the wrong dish for the main course. We then of course had to wait for the meal we originally asked for a while. Luckily one of us was not too hungry and it was all right and we were able to beat at the same time. As for our drink orders, many times she came over to ask what we had ordered. Finally she took a paper and a pen, which helped!
Empanditas, and the meat tacos were great. Wild mushroom quesadilla was fine. They have a good choice of mezcal for those interested
